Not tryin to be that guy but, you fall of that bike going 100 mph you're skin is gone. Sometimes not just messed up I know kids that have had to get skin grapghs etc due to skinning themselves on bikes. Take the 5 minututes to put on proper gear. You wont regret it.

Raising the forks in the clamps, lowers the front suspension, transferring more weight to the front, for improved slow speed steering grip and reaction, at the expense of high speed stability. Extend the forks as much as possible for stability at speed.
You are correct about in this scenario but for those looking in: remember the gyroscopic rotation starts to affect stability more as the front wheel gains speed. If you adjust down at HIGH speeds (130mph +) the opposite affect happens. Youactually GAIN stability and its harder to turn. So length helps YOU at low speeds, length at HIGH speeds helps the bike control you!

Carefull after 70 mph. The front fender is flexible. It can and will flex at speed and cause speed wobble. It happen to me once. Those fenders don’t handle wind past 170kph. I put cbr600 motor in my super motor how I know this

Husky made a automation transmission dirt bike, and Honda played with one too, (never in production), that I know of. Clutch and shiftier make a manual transmission. I bet you never saw an automatic transmission, and have only seen manual. What did you think "manual" meant?
@EarthSurferUSA the gears are not selected manually, they are selected in a sequence. Thus it is called sequenchal gearbox. In a manual gearbox, you can manually go from 1st to 6th or from 3rd to 1st. In sequential gearbox there is absolutely no way you can skip even 1 gear like that. What do you think manual gearbox meant?
You need hp and aero. When Dirt Bike Magazine did a speed test of a CR500 many, many, many moons ago, they wound up removing the front fender, numberplate and feont fender ahile tucking in like Scotty Parker for max aero. Their gearing combination got them to 116mph, shy of Super Hunky's 123mph. I doubt that has the needed hp to pull the gearing and overcome the aero thats needed to break the 100mph mark.
Try it again with good jetting. That thing is so rich (shipped that way stock), you might be losing up to 2 hp and it will go faster. Don't be MXA today, Jet the carb before testing. :)
When you rebuild it, fresh filter and piston, port the cylinder, theres 3 positions on the stator retard the ignition timing and then do this test again.
Try again with a fresh top end, pipe and some good jetting. Good video tho lol. I was gunna say converting the bike to kx85 wheels would help but idk that would shorten it drastically
Everyone talkin about riding gear needs to chill. The only gear that would help above 65mph is a full leather race suit & he obviously dont have that. Even jeans would rip as soon as they hit the pavement.
i wish i would have had somtheing between me and the asphalt when i fell other then gym shorts thats for sure if they had a dickies jacket and a good pair of wrangler jeans would be better then shorts and a tee shirt at least till they slide off of the road
Rough estimate: Assuming the stock bike, (gearing 51/13) will go 60 mph with you on it on flat pavement, the higher rears will take you to 99 mph if the engine can hit the same top rpm as with the stock gearing. But it won't reach the same rpm, so it will fall short. Probably take you quite a while to get to top speed too. Maybe long enough to make yourself a quick sandwich. :)

Gear down just a little lower. You can't make enough power for that tall of gear.

Used to have a 99 kx 80 bored out to a 120 for racing, it had 6 gears. Dam I miss my bike. That was just like mine, ripped through the gears.
