Make sure ya pre wash then spray with an iron remover. Sometimes a clay doesn’t get the embedded iron in it. Then clay after. If possible coat in a garage so dust doesn’t fall on it then leave indoors away from contaminants for 8-12 hours at least. 🫡 Also using a 3 towel method will ensure they don’t get high spots. With the first towel you’re leveling the carrier agents so you push coating onto the adjacent panel sometimes which causes high spots. If left untended they lol have to be polished after.

It’s worth mentioning that professionals that charge prices like that will usually be using a much better pro grade coating that they are certified to install. Most of these coatings are going to last in the 7-10 year range, where a diy application, while still great to do, isn’t going to last near as long. You’re looking at anywhere from 1-3 years depending on a number of factors. Also if your vehicle has a lot of swirl marks and scratches, a professional is going to be able to get them looking much better than most diy people could. It really just depends on what kind of result you’re looking for and how much more you’re willing to pay for it.

Please if there’s any way you could help me install these, because I have no clue how to, that’d be great! We all love you and the videos! Keep up the amazing work bro!
Been strapped for time recently so I paid a place to clay my exterior and polish to remove swirls in prep for me to coat it myself. Saved an entire weekend of work to about a few hours just to spot clean and apply the coating
This "Super Clean" process has come along way since the one you did 8 years ago. Added chemical decontamination, mechanical polish, and IPA to the repertoire.
Nice 👍🏻 what’s the best way to protect a freshly painted car from the elements since you can’t wax for 60 days? A sealant? Or polish? No need to compound paint flawless no separating fish eye or orange peel
I love you criss fi, you helped me change my back glass but working the paint Is another ballgame, if you buff you can't buff too hard or too fast otherwise you burn the clear and if you ceramic coat too much it's not going to get In the clear and is gona "freez" on top of the clear leaving a wet spot fort the rest of eternity on the clear😅
My buddy left his detailing business from burnout. I bought Duraslic off of him at cost and he helped me prep, polish, and apply the coating. We did FAR from the professional perfect job and it still took 20 man hours.
I honestly just used chemical guys ceramic 1 step and a hand applicator. It wasnt this good, but it was about 70% as good considering i put a fraction of the money and effort into it. My car looks good enough you could put it at a dealership show room and only a trained eye would spot the difference, which is very few. I always hand buff with chem guys solution until i get that mirror finish. It takes about an hour and a half on my 4 door sedan.
Ohhh, and the finish lasts about 4-6 months with the added bonus of rain cleaning the car. After that it wears off and i rewash with the chem guys ceramic as the last step of the whole wash process.

I always clay bar with a little lubricant not iron remover!! That is supposed to sit and settle into the paint then spray off with water!! Try that next time you will have a much better result. But good video Chris
I love it when I don't want too pay for a mechanic. I always have you.
Chris Fix is now a pitch man. Has the world come to an end?
Thank you so much this helped a lot. I almost ruined my car.
GLAD I FOUND YOU ON TIK TOK SUPER DETAILED ! THANKS 🙏
Hey Chris! I’ve been a huge fan since I was in middle school and I just turned 20 in august. I know you probably get this a lot but I’d genuinely like to get to work with you sometime as I ordered some rock lights for my mom as a joke(but I plan on actually installing them) as well as some for my buddy because he won’t tell me what he needs for his truck for Christmas lol. I’d love to be like you and have the amount of knowledge and skills you do. “Project Nightlight” and “Project Police Interceptor” have always been my favorites as I love off-roading YEE YEE and I’ve always wanted to be a police officer(sadly I can’t due to health reasons)! Please if there’s any way you could help me install these, because I have no clue how to, that’d be great! We all love you and the videos! Keep up the amazing work bro!
What an amazing and to the point video, well done!
Bro so glad you made this. Got a 2007 ford fusion that looks just like this…whatever this is
Same car but from Mercury. Mercury Milan.
Been strapped for time recently so I paid a place to clay my exterior and polish to remove swirls in prep for me to coat it myself. Saved an entire weekend of work to about a few hours just to spot clean and apply the coating
Man, that newly paved driveway really improved the look of your videos
I love it when he says buff
This "Super Clean" process has come along way since the one you did 8 years ago. Added chemical decontamination, mechanical polish, and IPA to the repertoire.
I think Larry from AMMO NYC approves your coating method 👌
Nice 👍🏻 what’s the best way to protect a freshly painted car from the elements since you can’t wax for 60 days? A sealant? Or polish? No need to compound paint flawless no separating fish eye or orange peel
didn't realise it was THAT EASY!!!!
The goat speaks and I will listen
Now we need a Chrisfix PPF video too!
Alright, TH-cam, keeping the Chris fix coming! Got my hey GUYS! the day
I’m miss Chrisfix uploads 😢😢😢
Finally you posted
Chris for the win
great video as always. Please make a full video of how to do Ceramic Coating
I might soon!
Can’t wait to watch that video
Thank you, Christopher Fixtopher
Thanks ChrisFix or Should I say Christopher Fixtiphor?!
ChrisFix, do you play any video games or do anything besides cars and fishing? You are my favorite youtuber, but i think you need more variety, I don't even see you upload on your ChrisFish channel anymore! Anyway your videos are the best, keep up the good work.
