Does it look easy to clean? My biggest complaint with the old one is they get so dirty real easy. Also, do they seem like theyll rub off like your old one is.
This is definitely feels like it’s a different material than my original ones. It seems like it would be easier to clean. The problem with the older styles is the rubber wears out and gets “sticky.” Too early to tell with the new one tho.
@@fondupot Damn, they have a 25% off sale going on now, you can get the remote and programmer for $90, but if its potentially going to wear out the same, ill just save the money. Thank you.
I did not test the range and I would suspect battery life to be the same because it’s the same battery. My OEM key fobs are 5 years old and they have the original batteries.
There ya go costing me more money again! Thanks my friend! You always have great content!!!!
Haha sorry! Cost aside it’s a cool upgrade. My OEM key fobs rubber was getting tacky. So this was a welcomed upgrade.
Nicely done, sir!! 👍🏻
Cheers thanks!
That would be handy with push button ignition!
Or, with a flip key
Did you have to reprogram existing/original key FOD? If so, do you reprogram existing/original key FOD first or last?
Nope. This just adds a new key fob onto the vehicle.

@blackhawkvenom5724 I’ve only had it for a few weeks. But it def feels nicer.
Is the range/battery life any better? My 2017 fob will barely function from a couple parking spaces away unless the battery is less than a week old.

This is cool and everything but, I wish someone would make a smaller/slimmer version of the fob.
That could be cool.
Is it really that easy to get the key cut to match? Sounds weird but I’d just use the slide out key every time. Easier in the pocket.
I’m not 100% certain. I haven’t had mine made yet.
@@fondupothave you gotten it cut yet?
@cameronpalm4617 no sorry. Been too busy.
$$$ ?
Follow the link in the video description.
