Swaziland: kids singing at a Neighborhood Care Point (NCP)

  • The Chiefdom of Zombodze, in Swaziland, had about 7 NCPs functioning while I served there as a Peace Corps Volunteer (2008-2010, and this is one of them-- near a little store. NCPs function like soup kitchens for orphaned and vulnerable children: they're given a meal and (hopefully) an educational lesson each day. Local volunteers run them, and the food is donated by the WFP and/or USAID, among others. In this video, the kids sing us a song.
