I love so many of their songs, but this might be my favorite so far.
This is simply excellent again!! I have been a fan of the Doobie Brothers for a long time. This song is just timeless. It still swings. Really something for Home Free. So great sung, so great harmonies, bone-feeling bass, But for me it's Adam who makes it truly phenomenal. He nailed it. The vocal percussion is just inhumane. So unbelievably good. For me the very best beatboxer/vocal percussionist/mouth artist there is. And I haven't even mentioned his appearance yet. He's so handsome. I do like that he has his hair a bit longer again and then with that bandana on.😊🥰

They honored the original but made it their own. Truly Adam amazes me with him beatboxing, he is one of the GOATs and has been, yet continues to get better all the time. Then Tim's bassline, yeah it was almost like a bass guitar carrying the song. Home Free never ceases to amaze me with their immense talent.

Headphones are required for all HF songs because of their intricate layering, and that's even more true with this song. The definitely upgraded this classic Doobie Brothers song. This was a very danceable song in '72 - '73, and I remember everyone would dance in slow motion on the slow part of the song. This song put everyone in a good mood back then, and it has certainly put me in a good mood.
I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds.

I blasted Doobie Brothers on 8 track in my 67 mustang convertible. I miss that car, i miss my 8 track and i miss those carefree days. Home Free brought it all back with this upgraded version of a favorite song.

You are about my Age and I don't know if you have Checked out Disturbed doing a Cover of Simon & Garfunkel's Sound of Silence. Paul Simon Heard This Cover and Loved it so much that he put it on his Play List and Told David Draiman That The Song is now His!! There are 2 Versions, The Offical Studio and The Live Version on The Conan O'Brian Show in March 2016. To Grasp How Great This song is you have to check out The Studio one First, Then The Live Conan Show Second. I Agree with Paul Simon it was Real Cool!!! ✌
Loved the Doobie Brothers every body tried to cover them but could never really match them Home Free actually keeps the spirit alive and even duplicates some of the effects used on guitars like phasing echo reverb and others and applies it to the vocals in the mix Adam Rupp is on another level subbing for two drummers yet keeps the same energy.
Adam Rupp got turned loose on this one. So, So very much talent in this group of 5. They have set the bar high for all singing groups by showing them what is possible.

Waooo!!!....Congratulations my friend Tom!! ...I want invite you to give us your opinion, like music lover, reacting to who is considered the best singer of the world...His name is Dimash Kudaibergen, a young singer who handle 7 octaves and 3 semitones of vocal range (An alien)...He has been singing since he was 5 years (he is 28 now) and he can sing in more than 15 languages...But if you decide to react to Dimash for the first time, please don't do it with his most recent songs ... I recommend that you go to the year 2017 and react to the song that made him a global idol ... I mean the performance he did of the famous French song called "SOS D'un Terrien en Détresse", when he participated in the famous Chinese reality show The Singer in that year 2017 ...
