it is an original...was on last years Christmas album, "Warmest Winter" ...was co-written by the Home Free bass, Tim Foust. I lost my boy Jack in Oct 2019, so yes I need a kleenex when I watch this. 10 years he was with me...a rescue dog, he was a shepard-mix...such a sweet boy, and loved everyone...he'd bark at the mailman everyday & anyone that came to see us though once they were in the front door, they were family to him...he was their best friend !
It is an original written by Tim and his friend Chris Chatham and producer Darren Rust. SO pretty and sweet. Such a good video. I thought it was a person too but it was the family pet which is also hard. Our pup is 9 now and she has a stocking and will get toys this Christmas. Loved the song. Their harmonies are so good.
