TransPortugal MTB Race 2022

The TransPortugal MTB race, arguably one of the toughest MTB stage races you will find, is an 8-day journey from Chaves, in the north of Portugal, to Sagres, located on the southern tip of this beautiful country. With a field of 130 riders, covering some 930km’s in distance and over 16K meters of vertical ascent, this is an endurance event that should not be taken lightly. We entered this event in 2019, and after multiple false starts due to Covid, we are finally on our way to Portugal for this epic adventure.

As I've said to many people since coming back from this adventure, Portugal is a land of great scenery, beautiful people, unbelievable food...and the sweat, tears and smiles brought about by the race we all did, will last for many more years as a fond memory. I see you guys used the send it bike boxes, were they any good?

Hey Graeme - yes, they worked well. They're a tight fit, but a good, affordable, protective solution for the bikes. We'd use them again.
