I’ve sent the past two days enjoying one of the ultimate heavyweights in the retro sector; the Kawasaki Z900RS. The next two videos will be with this very handsome machine. Have a good’n all!
I love my Speed Twin 900 as well. Her name is Bonnie. We go on so many adventures together, and sometimes we scrape pegs around the Harley riders. One time we went so far that we changed states. I miss her. I think I’m going to hang out with her tomorrow and maybe go get some pics in my field. I can’t wait to see her again.
I’ve got to say it’s a better bike than a Bonnie ….. I found it two bike in one a pleasure bike and naked sports when you open it up ! Certainly tying the speed twin and thruxton may have a bit more character but the package of the kwak is far superior .

I realize that Bali is hot and sticky, so Freddie's attire can be forgiven to a degree, but hell's teeth, do up your helmet strap. If you come off, so does your helmet.
The attire is only "required" by moto pussies in the fearfull US culture buddy. There's places where people use the motorbikes for a living and could care less about leathers... A helmet and that's good enough. Less accidents than the US look it up.
Yup - What the first comment here said. ⛑ I’ve ridden a fair bit in Equatorial Africa and always wore (thin) gloves, mesh jacket with armour and light boots. You don’t have to go full HiViz and winter clothing but conversely, not a safari suit. No-one looks as good after a skin graft.
Just bought one of these in Candytone blue. It’s pretty much this same color scheme except blue instead of green and gold instead of yellow. Can’t wait to see what you say. I’m in love with mine.
Rode one during a Kawasaki Good Times demo tour and it's an absolutely amazing bike. Smooth power delivery, shifts well, acceleration and braking are top-notch, and really knows how to lean into the corners! Absolutely fell in love with it!
For a modern bike it looks alright, but man, you can't fuck with the originals. All the KZ's... 400, 650, 750, 750T, 900, 1000... the whole lineup is some of the best looking bikes ever made. Personally, I think they look better than the CB's, only because the KZ's look a little more aggressive. This new model would look better IMO if they'd kept either spoke wheels or the mags, and didn't paint everything black. Accents, sure, but black-out exhaust and engine creates a "visual void." Everything bleeds together. Keeping the polished aluminum gives more definition to the lines and angles created by engine fins, exhaust and even chain guard.

My Bro got a Kawa that had been wrecked and killed a dude...he let me use it to get to work for a few weeks....that bike had an evil spirit...fast...mean...always wanted to go faster and faster...120 in the rain at 5 am on a foggy rain soaked highway is not nice...

Dude learn to ride on something smaller. You are struggling with the bike a bit. But the worst part is that you did not yield before the guy on the scooter and he had to brake to avoid hitting you.
