I love how Nature's theme is used in LOTR:ROTK on the wide shot of the mustered army of Rohan before charging Pelennor Fields, signifying Théoden's understanding that, although, Gondor is not his realm, it is still the site of evil's latest encroachment, and that, if evil gains a foothold anywhere in the world, it has the potential to gain a foothold everywhere. The theme lets us know that Théoden has become a part of the world in its fight against evil.

This melody is beyond moving, and it's usage in the soundtrack is impeccable. It makes the scene. This isn't just your usual "epic" moment, this is a turning point, *the* turning point. It's the moment when we see one last ray of light shine through deepest darkness. It is faith beyond hope, vision beyond sight, valor beyond fearlessness. When not one man but the entire world is exerting itself for that very last push to take back the good things in the world that hatred and greed has almost undone.

I love when the theme is played very gently in the background as Merry is telling Pippen about the ancient forests and how the trees were said to talk to each-other, even move.
Something I really like about this theme is that, personally, I've always thought it represents more than just nature. It feels like this great towering force of the wild that only appears in the most desperate of times and reminds us that the world is much older and far more powerful than seen in the events of this story.

Maybe I'm weird for thinking this, but while it appears with the ents and the moth that Gandalf speaks to, I don't feel it represents nature, but something more along the line of "reckless valor," because it shows up specifically when treebeard says "we are most likely going to our doom" and when the rohirrim are riding against a foe several times their size, and of course when theoden and his knights ride to what they would have thought as their final stand at the hornburg.

Bit late, though given the moth always seems to be a precursor for the Eagles to arrive - which themselves show direct involvement of Manwë in the situation at hand - makes me think the moth acts as a messenger between the Maia and the Valar, in this case Gandalf and Manwë directly. The last march of the Ents. They didn't know if they'd be able to win against the forces of Isengard. The melody is mostly the same as Charge of the Rohirrim, is that supposed to represent something?
the main pattern of nature's reclamation is played during the charge of the rohirrim because rohirrim are part of it. The whole Lotr OST is build around patterns that are played one after the other to build themes.
It symbolizes how the men of Rohan are in turn with nature via their nickname of the Horse-Lords.
That's what I was wondering, I could hear the buildup to the Battle of the Pelennor Fields about halfway through
It's said to represent hope.
I think a big part of that is the Rohirrim herald the rising sun.
