Such a dark and menacing soundtrack. Nothing came close to this in the Hobbit. The composer didn't put half the effort into the music of the Hobbit that he did into LOTR. To be honest, Unexpected Journey had a great main theme. It was the catchy and fun "Fellowship" theme for the Hobbit.. For some reason this theme was totally forgotten about in Desolation and Five Armies. Other than that, there was zero dark themes in The Hobbit. Even Smaug's theme wasn't as menacing as this.
Ummm actually Sauron's theme is in the hobbit...several times. And is in my opinion some of the best versions of his theme not to mention some of the best musical content in the hobbit trilogy. That and Gundabad's theme are bascially the best stuff in the hobbit trilogy for me.
Vaze537 Sauron's theme came on whenever they showed Sauron. But it sounded flat, and didn't have the power it had in LOTR. But this here isn't Sauron's theme. It's a compilation of all the evil themes from LOTR pretty much.
I would tend not to agree that it sounded flat, its pretty much the best stuff there. Thrain, The Guardian's of the Three, The Hill of Sorcery, and thats just a few sound, amazing. I think part of the issue is the space they recorded in. The first hobbit films ost sounds much more like lotr's because it was the same orchestra in the same space. The other two hobbit films however are not in the same space or the same orchestra. However the NZ Philharmonic who did the hobbit films also did some of fellowship, so I don't think it was them. I would tend to agree with you that the new trilogy doesn't sound quite as good. The other problem in my mind was Howard not conducting the last two and wasn't in New Zealand to see the sets and such. Conrad Pope did fine, but that's just it. He did fine.
Whenever I look at Barad Dur I just think about how big it is. It is as big as 1.5 Burgh Khalifas stacked on top of each other. Really cool what some dark magic and an army of orcs can accomplish.
+Neo Nazi Neighbor Neil I believe you're getting your people mixed in a compacted ball of nonsense. Muslims aren't people of flying carpets, those are the Indians. I'm certain you are a Trump supporter if that's how you identify people.
In the book, Sauron had a physical form. It was only in the movie that he was disembodied. There have been several times in the franchise where he has taken form again after losing the ring, such as when he appeared as the Necromancer in the Hobbit. It isn't necessarily that he'd be an unstoppable physical force with the ring, it's that he'd literally be able to control everyone with the ring. It gives him power over everyone's will.
With this music ... : - Optimus Prime take the infinity gauntlet - Vader still alive after the fall of the empire - The terminator kill Sarah Conor - Neo beat Smith and the leader of the machines - Iron Man meet Batman - Mace Windu kill Palpatine in revenge of the Sith, and Anakin stay in the light side - King Arthur is not worthy to excalibur - Hulk can lift Mjolnir - The 300 stay alive, beat Darius and the empire of Persia
"If he regains it, your valour is vain, and his victory will be swift and complete: so complete that none can foresee the end of it while this world lasts"
After the destruction of the One Ring, Sauron lost forever any possibilty to recover his physical form. He became an errant spirit condemned to wander through the Middle-Earth for eternity, being only able to look. Eventually, he stopped thinking.
Lol, I've often wondered what Sauron and his armies of Orcs, Uruk-Hai, Trolls, Goblins, Dragons, Easterlings etc etc would do if they had won. Like... *We've burned everything to the ground... what now?* Sauron: *Let's go fucking smoke this fucking Middle-Earth!*

Unless you resist the corruption of a ring, get a group willing to walk to Mordor, bearly resist completly corruption, meet yet another creepy being that has been corrupted by the ring and allow it to help you. And finaly when you reach Mordor become corrupted by the ring but the creature you helped earlier tries to take it and manages to do so as well, yet falling into the lava with the ring.

LOOKS LIKE MEATS BACK ON THE MENU, BOYS!
+Thomas Squibb yes!
OLAG-HAI MASTER RACE! TROLLS FTW! FOR THE TROLLS RACE
DALE FOR THE WIN!!!! #DALEOP
*THE AGE OF ELVES IS OVER! THE AGE OF THE ORC BEGINS NOW!*
Absolutely terrifying! Bravo Mr Shore!
Best fantasy universe, please double the content of it
Sauron did nothing wrong
ikr!
***** he just wanted power.
***** .... you do realise that J RRRRRR Tolkien obviously knew all the
esoteric and Gnostic mythology. This humanity is the 4th and most cruedest of all. this age is known as the kali yuga OR, the age of iron. The previous age, the Atlantean age
and the Lemurian age ALL correspond to Tolkiens world.
***** kinda ironic that the emotionless flowey has any reason to go against another evil and claim them worse than you.
@HydraLord1221 its a meme come on man
8:18 the part where Sam finds Frodo keeping the ring in the middle of Mount Doom and a fight ensues with Gollum, who takes the ring for himself and jumps straight into the lava with it, causing the whole mountain to erupt as well as the whole of Mordor to collapse ...for it was Gollum who seemed to accomplish the quest for the hobbits, not the other way around. that’s why the character plays a major role in the Lord of the Rings, especially even more so on the climatic finale of the Return of the King...
More like The fellowship of the ring, Saruman vs Gandalf scene
Absolutely Brilliant work here from Howard Shore ! Love it at 3:06, Those Tubas & French Horns are completely mind blowing, & the 5/4 rhythm gives it that extra boost !
it makes me want to build a fckng army !!!
you did but it mainly consisted of majini and monsters
The eye just wanted to watch over the playground.
meanwhile at the EU convention
Ash nazg durbatulûk.
Ash nazg gimbatul.
Ash nazg thrakatulûk.
Agh burzum-ishi krimpatul!
One Ring to rule them all.
One Ring to find them.
One Ring to bring them all.
And in the darkness bind them!
The Hobbit is the calm before the storm. Smaug's the mini-boss before the main boss.
iGizmoTech I know. Still, the music could've been better.
Thank you very much for putting this on TH-cam!!!
Whenever I look at Barad Dur I just think about how big it is. It is as big as 1.5 Burgh Khalifas stacked on top of each other. Really cool what some dark magic and an army of orcs can accomplish.
One Ring to rule Them all,
One Ring to find Them,
One Ring to bring Them all,
And in the darkness bind Them.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is what every arabic dictator listened to before going to sleep
lol
+My Nigga Etika I bet you support bombing Agrabah. Do you?
Neo Nazi Neighbor Neil yes, Aladin needs to learn a lesson
+Neo Nazi Neighbor Neil I believe you're getting your people mixed in a compacted ball of nonsense. Muslims aren't people of flying carpets, those are the Indians. I'm certain you are a Trump supporter if that's how you identify people.
L can you fuck off mate?
In the book, Sauron had a physical form. It was only in the movie that he was disembodied. There have been several times in the franchise where he has taken form again after losing the ring, such as when he appeared as the Necromancer in the Hobbit. It isn't necessarily that he'd be an unstoppable physical force with the ring, it's that he'd literally be able to control everyone with the ring. It gives him power over everyone's will.
Badassery overload
This channel is my bread n butter for LOTR music 12 years later xD
With this music ... :
- Optimus Prime take the infinity gauntlet
- Vader still alive after the fall of the empire
- The terminator kill Sarah Conor
- Neo beat Smith and the leader of the machines
- Iron Man meet Batman
- Mace Windu kill Palpatine in revenge of the Sith, and Anakin stay in the light side
- King Arthur is not worthy to excalibur
- Hulk can lift Mjolnir
- The 300 stay alive, beat Darius and the empire of Persia
Vader is still alive and Anakin is in light side????
"If he regains it, your valour is vain, and his victory will be swift and complete: so complete that none can foresee the end of it while this world lasts"
Absolutely beautiful...
I am stronger than your force, Lord Vader.
Iluvatar Um, no. Absolutely not.
But not mine
nothing is better than chilling under watchful Eye of Sauron
I love this so hard
So I guess the Nazgul theme is the mordor music? Makes sense
"Let the lord of the Black Lands come forth! Let Justice be done upon him!!"
best movie/book/games on the planet nothin i read or seen so far has came close to this. this is epic
Saurons Orcs vs the Darkspawn from Dragon Age, who would win?! :D
Darkspawn in my opinion: until the Archdemon dies they proliferate without limits, and they are a bit better organized than orcs
@@hunterofdoges1198 orcs do be shit tho
Mordor represents the evil in not just the lord of the rings but also in our world. Awesome theme also.
Un Anillo para gobernarlos a todos
Un Anillo para encontrarlos
Un Anillo para atraerlos a todos
Y atarlos en las tinieblas
this is great for dwarf fortress adventure mode when venturing into a *_dark fortress_*
Song at 4:15
Fields of the Pelennor
Why are there so many role players in this comment section?
The lord of the rings is a movie that completely blew my mind!
I like to work at math on this music. It fits the ambiance.
After the destruction of the One Ring, Sauron lost forever any possibilty to recover his physical form. He became an errant spirit condemned to wander through the Middle-Earth for eternity, being only able to look. Eventually, he stopped thinking.
LYRICS PLEASE!!!
Interesting info in the description, nice
0:27 Is that the Gondor theme I hear?
Gatito Gatito it is
Its all throughout this peice
I always think of this as the theme that the Ainur who joined with Morgoth sang.
Mordor should have won
Hurlock Stupid hobbitses!
I. Thorberg Would've been pretty metal tho
Lol, I've often wondered what Sauron and his armies of Orcs, Uruk-Hai, Trolls, Goblins, Dragons, Easterlings etc etc would do if they had won.
Like... *We've burned everything to the ground... what now?*
Sauron: *Let's go fucking smoke this fucking Middle-Earth!*
STFU Jon Snow, you know nothing
Guys I think he has a point. Mordor has that gate you know. Jon Sneur is an expert on walls and a gate is pretty much just a special wall.
4:14 When you walk in at 4am from a night out with the boys and your misses is stood there pissed off because you told her you would be home no later than 1am.
So that's where it went
Lol I'm dead !
The unseen shadow is the deadliest... Wait im not on my universe !
"Three rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for the Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie
One Ring to rule them, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness to bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie."
~J.R.R. Tolkien
2:35 to 2:40 so epic
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to
bring them all and in the Darkness bind them.
lol i study to this music
This is a master piece and one of the best sound tracks I have ever heard
sorry the Hobit, but you are just not as good as this :/
Frostbite The Hobbit could never be as good as the originals, It's the same with any prequel however I still thought they were pretty good.
Frostbite first hobbit part was great but all the others where just muck you around all time long.....
I remember the scene in wich legolas was using a collapsing tower as a bridge and ran from one falling stone to the other....
this is just crap...
louistodd5 Well sorry if I might sound like an idiot but I personally think the Star Wars prequels are actually good if not better , And my choice might be because I grew up in the 20 th century and not in the 80's ( which mean I'm not as used to and receptive at the old ones ).
Frostbite I did like the prequels but I don't think they are as good as the originals. I don't think you sound like an idiot though, that's your opinion.
louistodd5 "The Hobbit" was written before "the Lord of the Rings". -> "The Hobbit" is not a prequel but "The Lord of the Rings" is a sequel.
