I love how Graham plays in a position of power. Like, he's going to play as optimally as he can and murder you, but he will cheer on his opposition and have a great time being removed from said position.
@@morgancarlton4544 if you’ve heard of the Tower of Babel, it’s playing off of that. If you aren’t familiar it is an old biblical tale. Mankind was once a single unified people. However, they grew vain and overzealous, and built a city with a tower that would “reach to the heavens.” As it grew near completion God came down and in order to stop/punish them forced them all to speak different languages and scattered them so that they wouldn’t be able to do so again. The dice tower thus analogous with the Tower of Babel and Cameron forgetting french would be analogous with God taking away common language.
Graham: "it's commander...I'm winning 'now'" Me, at home, having played against that precon before: "are you will likely be winning the entire game until the game ends."
I *just* noticed the castle of dice that Ben has been building off camera. I'm honestly surprised that Adam hasn't "accidentally" knocked it over for his amusement.
Engagement for the algorithm! I love the new wheel. And that opening clip felt like something that could be remixed with a catchy beat into a song about how reading a card explains the card.
When graham played the adjudacator and immediatley pointed out the tiny man on him that actually makes the card a knight, i have the knights deck and always jist thought it was some dumb gargoyle knight thing, thanks graham!
Occasionally, Ben will open his eyes a little wide and/or look at the camera, and the color grading on this video makes it look like a character from Dune.
Elenda and Azor may be my favorite of those "team up" cards. I just built Esper Good Stuff with some cards that play into the "when you draw cards" theme, but mostly just wanted to play cards like Halo Forager, Hidetsugu and Kairi, and Taigam, Ojutai Master.
I've realized after so long the reason why LRR MTG in particular is content I engage with even though I'm basically out of Magic. They do the things I'd love to do with my pals if I had the resources to do so, particularly this way of playing Commander where it's random chance spin the wheel style.
Lets take a moment again here to thank the wheel of precons! It always shows up, ready to work :) Thank you to the entire LRR team for all the wonderful content over the years. You guys are simply tremendous :)
Hey everyone. I've recently decided to get back into magic, but I haven't looked at my collection in ages. I have a bunch of decks made already, but I think since it's been so long, I might take all of them apart. Reorganize my whole collection and start fresh. Anyways, I was hoping to get some fun deck ideas/themes from the comments. By the way, I only play commander. Thanks for any suggestions or tips.
the bit where they changed places at the wheel actually had me rolling in my seat~ Also, I love esper, so it looks like I need to actually get my hands on that knight deck :3
I have been enjoying the series Elder Dragon Social Club so much. The concept is exciting to watch and the content is always great! I have been a fan of LRR and the magic content for years. Thank you again for making great content! I especially love the wheel of pre-con episodes of commander. Thanks again for the great video! I'll look forward to more videos!
So excited for this. I love every single episode. Some other commander shows have some dips in enjoyment recently (no shade, it's me that's changing not the shows mostly), but LRR is always my favorite. I even watch the stream VODs of commander streams!
I have a friend who plays the pirate deck and that thing is almost always in the lead at our commander table. I haven't gotten to see much of the knight deck, so that was pretty neat to see.
What? I nuked so many opponents with Smitten Swordmaster in Eldraine drafts. Watching my opponent's eyes melt out of their skull as I cast the third one was always a riot.
17:19 - Neurotic note before I forget (and potentially could be corrected in like five additional seconds, making me eat my lunch.) Graham would only gain one life, as the Knight Exemplar has 1st Strike. Consider this my offering to the Algorithm!
The precon meta grew on me. Is good to see personal decks, but this grants a slower pace and allows to show their design, and is funny to see how the philosophy changed over time and the differences in design both for singular cards and decks in general. Always good to see Adam playing Golgari as well. For the pronunciation question: technically it should be a soft "g", since it's the latin world "magnus" (Iz-magnus, the great Izzets, even to it should really be Izmagna), however when adopted into english is usually pronounced as a hard "g",which is likely the intended pronunciation.
24:00 Ok but like.... Centipaur: Human down to ribcage, then horse front legs and spine, and then giant centipede third in a slope down to the ground. It has hooves, hands, and tarsi. It can skitter and gallop. It probably looks a bit weird.
I have had a fact or fiction 0-5 split where I picked the 0 and it was a winning move. There was a game winning spell on the stack that my opponent cast and the extra cards in the grave allowed me to delve enough to counter the spell with logic knot which wiped out my graveyard so their sewer nemesis died.
I think a very on brand for the fun environment of EDSC would be possibly doing Pauper Commander which is strangely very powerful and swingy compared to regular commander and relatively cheap too. Keep up the amazing work :)
I like how Cam is one of the calmest and most chill here then randomly just says the most outta pocket stuff you’ve heard
I was like "what the hell are you talking about, he's been calm"...and then I got to "put someone's wife's name in your mouth"
I love how Graham plays in a position of power. Like, he's going to play as optimally as he can and murder you, but he will cheer on his opposition and have a great time being removed from said position.
he's definitely a good sport
Graham is the kind of player I try to emulate
Within this binding void I invoke the rite of the algorithm. For engagement. For number go up. For support of good people. This incantation is bound.
*rings a bell three times to extend the incantation’s effect*
Plus one.
By the old compacts, and by the green. So it shall be said.
*performs 20 air punches*
Blinding voip!
Absolutely LOVE the Wheel of Precons. EDSC remains the undisputed champ of Commander content.
Definitely, this and the Canadian highlander is the best
Agreed
@@Veggie_Dogg you mean...North 100 Showdown?
Cam's commitment to the 'digital editing wizardry is real, terrifying wizardry' is literally always a hit
"great now I forgot how to speak French" was such an underrated joke. Top Tier
Can you help explain it for my dumb friend who looks remarkably similar to me?
@@morgancarlton4544 if you’ve heard of the Tower of Babel, it’s playing off of that. If you aren’t familiar it is an old biblical tale. Mankind was once a single unified people. This is also the origin of the word babel, a confusing mess of sounds and voices
Ah, thanks. Aware of Tower of Babel but did not make that connection
@@morgancarlton4544 I figured not many would, hence it being an underrated joke
Cameron's "forgotten how to speak French" joke did NOT get the reaction it deserved! 😂
“As if by magic”. “GAH!”
Graham: "it's commander...I'm winning 'now'"
Me, at home, having played against that precon before: "are you will likely be winning the entire game until the game ends."

The random deck choosing is awesome. Our playgroup does that sometimes with all our decks.
When our group got a bit stale we rolled random to choose decks. Breathed a breath of fresh life into our games.
adam's smirk and slight head shake was just the perfect response to that dice empire coming to an end
Engagement for the algorithm! I love the new wheel. And that opening clip felt like something that could be remixed with a catchy beat into a song about how reading a card explains the card.
ENGAGE!!
Love seeing Adam on here! One of the 🐐s
Wait until Graham sees that the Deep Clue Sea deck doesn't have any food or detective tokens....
When graham played the adjudacator and immediatley pointed out the tiny man on him that actually makes the card a knight, i have the knights deck and always jist thought it was some dumb gargoyle knight thing, thanks graham!
It's a Vedalken from the shard of Esper on Alara. There's another one of those big gargoyles on Etherium Sculptor.
Y'all have BY FAR the best vibes of any Magic TH-camrs. Just a group of good friends trying to play a great game.
1:08:00 adam should be at 13 and gains 5 lofe per grahams creature death so 100% shouldn't be dead he should be outgaining the damage by a ton
he also would have gained 8 life from the 1/1 dying
Just the pests would have kept him alive. Good. I wasn't going crazy. That line was there.
Occasionally, Ben will open his eyes a little wide and/or look at the camera, and the color grading on this video makes it look like a character from Dune.
LRR wheel of precon episodes never disappoint! 🙌
I love that after "is it a hard G?" Graham mentally inserted "just like me"
I would not have been able to stop myself from saying HumanCentaurPede if I was in that room.
New EDSC, dude? Hell yeah!
*Adam voice* Banana bread at work, dude? HAIL YEAH.
EDSC always brightens up the day!
As soon as I saw the name of the episode I said "If someone doesn't get Sidar Jabari, I will be very disappointed."
I Love being able to see decks like Willowdusk. Also thank you for the improved visibility on the cards. Very helpful on mobile and tv
Excellent, as always. Thank you!
Loving the dice stacking going on
10:54 "my turns are simple, I like this" If only that were true for constructed Mizzix.
Graham is often forgetting that Sidar's eminence ability includes a card draw, so Elenda and Azor's ability sees at least two card draws a turn.
Either that, or forgetting that the card for turn also counts.
He included it. He paid 4 life for 2 guys several times because of it.
Definitely missed that twice, yeah.
So good to see Adam in stuff. Love that guy.
Lots of fun! Fully engaged
Cameron absolutely on fire with his interjections, that tower of Babel reference sneaked in - 10/10 :D
Opening bit was particularly funny

"IT'S THREE MANA" is very relatable.

Cameron's reaction at 1:11:46 as he realized multiple knights with menace came after him brightens my day.
The Witherbloom deck is one of my favorite precons, it was fun to see such an ancient card as Greed put to so much work.

Oh man, I had five Smitten Swordmasters in my 2HG Prerelease pool. Was an absolute menace. So glad to see it pop up and do so much work!
The wheel spinning segment was awesome, can't wait to see more
Man I love the wheel o precons :) thanks LRR for keeping this up!
Its always fun to see a well-fought archenemy game where the villain wins
I was just rewatching all the wheel of Precon episodes last week, so hyped for a new one
the bit where they changed places at the wheel actually had me rolling in my seat~

I'll never tire of theater kids playing magic.
MOM MOM!!! A new episode of EDSC JUST DROPPED… IM NOT GOING TO SCHOOL
Love this series, please keep making it. Love the vibe, love the banter, love the play. Keep it up!

My favorite thing to watch on all of TH-cam! Love you guys!
man the banter had me rollin all through out the game, great episode
Oh no, Adam does not seem to be doing well. I hope you feel better soon!
I loved it when Graham said, "It's Knighting time!" and knighted everywhere
I love seeing this group of people play commander.
This is the nicest club I've ever had to wrestle a lizard to get into.
This was the best thing I could have woken up to on a Monday morning
I love watching Wheel of Precon matches❤

Engagement. I appreciate all of these good people immensely.
Was wondering what to watch today, perfect timing LRR!
Came for the Magic, stayed for Ben’s game of Jenga.
These are really enjoyable, thank you.
What? I nuked so many opponents with Smitten Swordmaster in Eldraine drafts. Watching my opponent's eyes melt out of their skull as I cast the third one was always a riot.
I appreciate that Graham pointed out the good spin mere moments after I said, out loud, "That was a good spin."
Ben reading Knight Exemplar gives me LIFE
Loved the energy and relaxed playstyle, really nice to see when magic can cause a lot of salt :)

I do wish Exsanguinator Cavalry also triggered from vampires
This is the first of these Episode I have gotten recommend and it's great. You guys are just as funny as you were when I was 16.
Crazy how I was just thinking that we hadn't had any recent EDSC episodes. This episode definitely had me laughing.
So nice to see one of my favorite commanders just absolutely dominating a game
Welp, guess I didn’t need sleep after all…but it’s so worth it, this club slaps, as the kids say
Knighty-Knight, don't let the phyrexian mites bite
@1:01:49 "See, this man's counting his mana over here. You're all ruin-" and in that split-second moment, Ben's dice empire was destroyed.
Ben and his dice shenanigans are the best part of this video. Wait, they were still playing magic after he died? 😆
Ben and dice rolling is always a good time
wheel of precons is sick, thanks.
I see Adam Savidan, I click.
Was just bingeing the other videos while playing Hearthstone and saw this, awesome
Yay new EDSC whoop day has been saved!! Thanks guys love your content
Hell yes! New EDSC! I am hype!
Can we get an episode with the wheel of PPRcons? All the decks Ben brewed for the PPR segment.

Sidar is his title. Jabari is his name.
Ben's beard looks extra ginger. I wish mine had ever been this ginger. Mine was almost always a darker red. Drop the beard care!
Haakon MVP for reals, what a good episode of the wheel!
I'm shamefully behind, but I love this show!

I love you people dearly
Hearing Ben refer to Mizzix as an "older card" hurt my soul.
That knight deck has to be sent to the pastures of the mean wheel.
