This is the first video I've seen on this channel but it's so refreshing just seeing people being goofy and having fun, and not overacting because they're on camera. I love this channel now lol
This channel, and all its related channels, are delightful. Highly recommend you check out more of their stuff--one of my favorite standalone non-MTG things is that time they raced a cheese wheel down a hill!
Then they could do an agreement with Card Kingdom to offer those decks with a video titled "What's the real deal reel with Wheeler's wheel wheeling and dealing deal?"
Even if you did its all good. Was a very fun game to watch. Yall have a lot of fun playing together and thats super noticeable. Love the vids and super nice to have Graham back and playing in the commander games.
I understand what you meant, but the line “It’s December for those who observe” sounds like it isn’t December as long as you ignore it; which is technically true and makes me laugh
And it's said, down in Moon Base, Graham's board grew four sizes that day... This game was nuts! I love how the thing that always happens happened, where one player was just kinda sitting there until he pulled the jersey over all three of them.
Loved Ben Ben with the Friday Nights reference. Also Wheeler's "Wait..what?" double take after conspiring with Ben Ben to take out Serge and then Ben Ben immediately cuts a deal with Serge using that information so he can live a bit longer.
I'm glad that you can tell roughly which direction James Turner is, but it's impressive that his curse can have that much of an impact on only one side of a table.
This show is still my favorite commander content. Random decks! Back and forth banter! Graham laughing so hard he goes into ultrasounds! And MATH! It's just the best. Keep being you, guys. ❤️
Excellent as always. Thank you. I love the moments where you know they could have edited that part out, but no. They decided it was too good/funny and had to keep it. Like Surge breaking the wheel.
I object to the claim that Americans don't get the Rock the Dragon reference. It's a classic here too! Also the Friday Nights callback was so well done, made me want to go back to that episode again.
Regarding the DBZ theme, the hard like "Rock the Dragon" theme was definitely aired in the states! Unless this is an entirely different theme that they're referring to.
So much fun, as usual. I haven't laugh this hard in a long time. Amazing content. Loved Ben's Friday Nights reference. But you missed the best pun of: Sword of Bengeance when it was targeting Wheeler. Thanks for a good time and happy holidays to LRR and everyone else. 💙
this is the best edited magic content around - I've fallen off all the other channels for this I used to watch but as soon as I see this posted i need to watch it :)
(ia, ia, Algorithm fthagn) Wheeler's comments at ~35:00 are the best ADHD representation I've seen in literally any piece of media. It's also why I personally don't play much commander, though I see the appeal of the format for others.
Super enjoyed the match! Great decks, great gameplay, great and hilarious fun, and awesome final turn!! I did notice that Ben (Ulmer) appears to have played two lands on one turn (Forest at 21:18 and then a Jungle Basin at 22:10). Inadvertent I'm sure, but surprised nobody at the table caught it.
i laughed so hard i cried. multiple times. also fantastic example of the commander games where one person does nothing right up until they kill everyone. this was amazing, can't wait for more
You know, I'd been holding off on buying more MTG cards for quite some time. But this content makes me wanna treat myself for the holidays so that sponsor code gets some love.
Only a bit into the video, but I wonder if they knew about and fixed the issue with the Chishiro deck. (For those unaware, it came with 2 Mossfire Valley, instead of one of those and a Nissa, Voice of Zendikar)
There are many things that I say are unhinged. They all pale in comparison to the pure shenanigans and cocophony of laughter from everyone. Wheeler, I feel you over early deaths. The heck am I suppose to do for 20 minutes, sit here and be still?!?
WOW, that DBZ reference. I actually got it because we had that version playing on TV when I was growing up in America. Not only that, but I own the DBZ YTV box for the first "series.' No wonder why LRR is my favorite MTG content creators!
As someone with very little interest in playing Commander, this series is fantastic! Easily some of my favorite Magic content that exists, please keep them coming!
What a fantastic EDSC episode. I love this show, but this was particularly great. Sometimes you just want to see a big swingy game where the archenemy title switches hands and then oops! Everyone's dead!
3:37 "I was born to pilot Daretti."
Immediately sacrifices an artifact
This one's underrated ^^
This is the first video I've seen on this channel but it's so refreshing just seeing people being goofy and having fun, and not overacting because they're on camera. I love this channel now lol
They’ve been performing on the internet for a *long* time-Loading Ready Run is older than TH-cam, in fact.
Welcome!
Might I suggest taking a peak at Friday Nights. It is what got me introduced to LRR
Watch out. Graham usually has a beard and is currently regrowing it after successful cancer beating!
This channel, and all its related channels, are delightful. Highly recommend you check out more of their stuff--one of my favorite standalone non-MTG things is that time they raced a cheese wheel down a hill!
Do you think we could ever get an episode where everyone spins on a wheel of Wheeler's decks? The Wheeler wheel?
Then they could do an agreement with Card Kingdom to offer those decks with a video titled "What's the real deal reel with Wheeler's wheel wheeling and dealing deal?"
This would be so sweet!
@@loxeggcheese Wheely sweet
Wheel you please, please do this?
The wheelrr maybe
"I have ADHD I can't sit here for twenty minutes doing nothing." was the most I felt a statement about ADHD.
I legit did a spit-take at that line.
I think something got lost in the edit, but I promise you I did not intentionally play 2 lands in a turn ❤️
I was wondering about that! What in the worlds happened?
Lmao they were trying to make you look bad
Even if you did its all good. Was a very fun game to watch. Yall have a lot of fun playing together and thats super noticeable. Love the vids and super nice to have Graham back and playing in the commander games.
I blinked 'something green probably happened.'
Now I want a skullclamp alter but it's a Santa hat with face hugger legs coming out.
I believe that exists: th-cam.com/video/7HRjlU5fvDs/w-d-xo.html
Ben's first reference to the first Commander Friday Nights was good, but the obscure 2nd Prerelease Friday Nights Batman jab was absolutely amazing XD
"It's a 6 mana sorcery, so it's not very good." - casts a different 6 Mana sorcery.
And the first one would at least have made some blockers!
and drew 7 seven lands while casting a cultivate, so... **shrug**
I swear I've rolled dual fours on that card so many times in my tribal dice rolling deck, it's cracked tbh
I understand what you meant, but the line “It’s December for those who observe” sounds like it isn’t December as long as you ignore it; which is technically true and makes me laugh
Its only December because the Romans said it was and we never lost track
Fun fact: December means “tenth month” in Latin! Some emperors decided that adding their own months to the calendar is more fun than being consistent!
@@MM-lv7iy that's actually a common misconception. Those months weren't added they were just renamed
"You can't just skip an entire Fortmonth!"
The Islamic calendar is used by many and doesn’t have December as it is a lunar calendar
I've never cried laughing before. Not until Wheeler's ADHD comment, that is.
Wheeler is so unbelievably funny. How does he do it.
He's everything I want to be as a magic player
It’s the magic of thanking people for having him and saying it’s great to be here
Intellect.
As an American, I got the DragonBallZ reference, we had that version too.
I'm glad that you can tell roughly which direction James Turner is, but it's impressive that his curse can have that much of an impact on only one side of a table.
Ben said the thing! That one episode of Friday Nights was the first thing I ever saw from you guys, and I have loved everything since.
this is without a doubt the best EDH content on youtube. 4 lovely people, fun decks, just gameplay and table banter
Having just done a Friday Nights rewatch Ben’s reference made me ridiculously happy
glad to see graham on this since i got the impression it was a big project for him
As soon as Ben made a reference to Friday Nights I knew this episode was going to be something special! Love you guys keep up the great work!
First time watching; loved the energy. "Oh yah Graham is here!" and we are so happy for it
23:50 also the intro used for DBZ in the UK. We were robbed of Cha-La Head-Cha-La :(
Great episode!
I love that smooth editing of life totals syncing with Graham's combat damage sound-effect at 1:03:39
They did it again at 41:55 too, it was really fun!
I gotta say this is by far my favorite series from you guys.
At least until they do Friday Nights again, agree.
Appreciate the callback tocthe Friday nights Ben!
I guess you could say Serge took the Tiny Wheel of Festivities' ear off with a hockey stick.
This is, without hyperbole, my favorite magic content on youtube. Yall are just so fun and charming.
This show is still my favorite commander content. Random decks! Back and forth banter! Graham laughing so hard he goes into ultrasounds! And MATH! It's just the best. Keep being you, guys. ❤️
After I laughed so hard during the introduction of the Decks, I already knew this will be a great episode. Thanks LRR
I like how Ben(ben) has a christmas topper on his head, because he's such a gift. His Present-ce is always appreciated!
I think the only thing I would want different from this show is a Commander Damage tracker
That last second Ben spell. Amazing ending.
Regarding the DBZ theme, the hard like "Rock the Dragon" theme was definitely aired in the states! Unless this is an entirely different theme that they're referring to.
I love how serge went from wanting to win to wanting graham to pop off and kill everyone in one turn!! What an amazing soul 🫶🏼
I appreciated Ben's shoutout to the best Friday Nights episode.
Welcome to this episode of bearded vs beardless!
Elder Dragon Christmas Club! Now we just need Ugin in a Santa hat.
This is the most fun game of Commander I've ever watched. Bravo.
this is the best edited magic content around - I've fallen off all the other channels for this I used to watch but as soon as I see this posted i need to watch it :)
This is what an authentic game of commander with your friends looks like. 👌🏻
How quickly the red mist deceded on Serge is impressive.
Just a fantastic episode, start to finish. Had me laughing to the point that my sides hurt and I needed to pause to recover three times!
34:22 If you play the video at half speed you can see the exact frame where Ben makes Wheeler's soul leave his body.
(ia, ia, Algorithm fthagn) Wheeler's comments at ~35:00 are the best ADHD representation I've seen in literally any piece of media. It's also why I personally don't play much commander, though I see the appeal of the format for others.
Out of all the decks, I think you should all try playing with Vrondiz...
Vrondiz Nuts !
I always love EDSC but this had the best banter of all so far - loved it!
Serge's life counter ticking down with Graham's counting was such a lovely touch, incredibly satisfying
i laughed so hard i cried. multiple times. also fantastic example of the commander games where one person does nothing right up until they kill everyone. this was amazing, can't wait for more
6:15 Love the reference (caught it immediately) and Graham's observation about it!!!
Loved the go to 0 in time with Graham sound effect
The intro looking like a Christmas home video when they are going to spin the wheel was a wonderful touch and I appreciate this channel so much
Hell yeah, I look forward to this series more each episode!
So that's how Santa does it, all that card draw.
I love the banter between the guys, laughed so hard at the episode. Fantastic stuff from everyone.
One of the best if not even just the best Commander Gameplay Content on the internet. 😂
Next year for chimmus yall should put in one blue/white deck to rep Hanukkah.
Thank you SO much for being you!
So far my favorite episode of Social Club
I loved the editing of the life totals at the very end of the game. Perfect timing with the mouth sounds!
[Ben rejects Wheeler's diplomatic overtures by arranging for a big modified snake to eat him]
Oh yeah, Santa's definitely Phyrexian this year.
His list isn't the only thing he completed this year!
Always nice to be invited back into the elder dragon social club!
No one’s gonna talk about the irony of Serge breaking the wheel and immediately spinning up a commander known as “the *Shattered* Blade”?
Not just that, the deck he wanted to get is led by the scrap savant
What a great game and episode! EDSC continues to be my favourite Commander content
Yawgmoth would be Krampus, the bonus card in the Secret Lair.
This was definitely my favorite episode of EDSC so far! They're all great, but I just couldn't stop laughing during this one. Great job everybody!
I think this was my favorite out of all the EDSC episodes so far. So good.
To anyone else it was bothering as much as it was me: Ben's monocolored deck has Evolving Wilds to enable Titania
34:54 Highlight for fun bantering over Serge plotting to take down Wheeler
Santa Skullclamping his elves is a very dark visual. A rich and vivid one, though!
Thanks, Graham! I do, indeed, observe the month of December.
40:45 I didn't realize Dave's Spokesman was playing
Serge finds everything hilarious for about .5 second
i love that the intro is filmed like a old timey Christmas day video. 👌👌👌👌
Some of the best EDH content on youtube hands down
You know, I'd been holding off on buying more MTG cards for quite some time.
We fixed that yes!
Engagement for the engagement gods. Praise Heather for the upload!
That’s some serious Freddy Kruger cosplay going on Graham
I also loved the elves refference, I been watching your work since Friday Nights! Great series!
Man hearing you guys reference the YTV opening to Dragonball Z takes me back to my childhood! Great stuff
I watch a good amount of LRR. This is the best show you make. This is somehow better than when you are streaming commander. Keep it up.
The hell we don't get Rock the Dragon! We got that here too and it was awesome!
God damn the opening music for this series is SO GOOD.
I love this series and this episode still stood out as something special.
This episode was incredibly humorous and extremely entertaining
Trombone Champ: MtG Edition
Phenomenal episode of EDSC as always!
You weren't kidding when you talked up this game last FNPF. Thanks for the great video.
As someone with very little interest in playing Commander, this series is fantastic! Easily some of my favorite Magic content that exists, please keep them coming!
“I feel we have a new threat” “that’s commander” 😂 so true
Merry Christmas LRRfolk 🎄❤
What a fantastic EDSC episode. I love this show, but this was particularly great. Sometimes you just want to see a big swingy game where the archenemy title switches hands and then oops! Everyone's dead!
Perfect to watch while bouncing the mini human to sleep! Christmas came early!
"oh god, i've drawn so much land" -me every time i play Arena, and apparently Ben said it too
All of you guys were really on fire for this episode. 🤣
Love it!
