Right now I started a few days ago so I was messing with decks and realized that acreus pairs really well with original form dialga,
I’m totally new on TCG live and so far I enjoy the dark type deck I use but it needs some more work before it’s perfected.

Yeah the client may suck but I'll take it over spending 40 bucks irl to get a competitive deck any day! So sick of buying hundreds of boosters to get NOTHING then try to trade boosters for specific cards but they won't trade unless they have the rights to your first born.

Thanks for the video! Question: Do you think they will optimise the game for Ipad/tablets? The destop and mobile (though small) look very crisp but the Ipad version is very blurry and just looks like a stretched out iphone version. Thanks in advance for you thoughts
It's been ~8 months since the iOS version launched and it still destroys batteries, so if they do make improvements, it probably won't be for a while.

How can you increase your tier exp other than daily quest? How many times can you do the same daily quest?

You have to export your deck lists from PTCGO to a word document, then copy and paste them back into Live after migrating.

When match stops in beginning after I get 7 cards so what do I do? I tried clicking on everything, but nothing happens. Is it because of server problems? lag? I can't put pokemon on bench and I waited until the countdown in the beginning ended, but nothing changed. Was there a button press I missed? I had to concede. Was it because of something related to my opponent?

How does the standard ranked ladder work mate, does it just go up in 10s or does that improve faster with a win streak? Also does it decrease with loses
It goes up 20 with a win, down 10 with a loss until you reach the higher Leagues.

4:16 Question 1: You say that ptcgl's economy isn't friendly to new F2P players. If I am a strictly causal non-hardcore F2P player, is ptcgo the better brand new player experience compared to ptcgl?
Question 2: For credit acquisition, you suggested celebrations codes cards (or grinding the battle pass). Do they have to be celebrations? If not, what are the runner ups/next best expansion codes do you suggest?
Any code works but celebrations is such a small set its easier to get the higher end cards for more credit

Celebrations only has 50 cards and all of them are rare or higher. It is by far the best option.

I'm so disappointed that they got rid of expanded battles, that was literally all I did TCG online.

Simply question; if i have the same account for both online and live but i didnt migrate anything yet. When i will do it my "old" collection will replace the live one, losing cards as Lugia for example or the old card will be simply ADDED without loosing anything?

Worst app EVER. As past reviews have stated this game is completly unplayable on Chromebooks. I was lucky enough to get to the white Pokeball screen hahahahahahahaha. WHAT'S THE POINT OF A GAME THAT DOESN'T WORK ON A MORE POWERFUL DEVICE THAN A MOBILE PHONE!?!?!?!?! Devs, PLEASE fix this problem. Do the ingame (untradable) packs count to the 125+ for gems? Or the bundle code from built & battle?
Trade-locked packs should count towards the 125, according to the official FAQ.
Build & Battle codes should also work, but those might be more valuable to open or trade.
Is this the same game that was on the Pokémon website? I played this years ago and thought about playing it again but at the time it was literally only on pc or I pad. I found it today on I phone tho. Like can you get pack codes and trade cards for other cards with other players?

Does ranked games give more rewards or exp than casual?
Is there a way to earn packs in Live like with the Trainer challenge as i havent earned all the packs from there yet?
The only way to get packs in Live itself is through the Battle Pass or spending Crystals.
dunno if you can help, I want to build tyrantitar ex, I bought a pack and pulled the full art version, however I cannot use credits on the regular version now, I do not own any regular versions and the option of crafting them doesnt even appear, only lets me craft the full art which is like 1000 credits
If you click on the card, then click Available, it will show you all the different arts.

right now im playing both ptcgo and ptcgl. i already progress a lil bit in live but havent migrate yet. When i choose to migrate in the future, will the progress in ptcgl merge tgt? or when i migrate my ptcgo acc to live, i need to start over for live?

How does the Shadow Rider deck help? Is it because most of the cards in it are also in the free deck?
You get credits instead of cards after your 4th copy of each card. Credits can be dusted at will :-)

i have a ptcgo account, what is the BEST way to maximize my chances at F2P ? what is that celebrations you talked about? I am a returning player and don´t know if i should migrate or just keep playing F2P theme format until i get a good deck
If you're looking to be truly F2P in Live, you have to use PTCGO to your advantage and get the 12,400 Crystals - th-cam.com/video/wps3tMrLDmE/w-d-xo.html
i can buy gx deck codes for pretty cheap, could i buy a bunch and redeem them all for a bunch of copies and credits or can you only redeem deck codes like once or twice?
I think the limit on deck codes is 4 each. Keep in mind that some deck codes will only grant you the main card on Live, not the full deck like it would on PTCGO.
Q: when logging in with the same trainer account and TCGO, do I need to give Live access to my trainer account?

When you buy the preminumpass how long does it last? How often does a preminimun pass become aviliable?
The Battle Pass rotates with every new main set (every 2-3 months).

You will have to export your deck lists from PTCGO into a Word document, then import them into Live though.
Do you how to get specific cards in the Pokemon TCG Live? I was told you can trade cards for coins by pressing the three dots but I do not find that anywhere in the computer version of the game. Any help will be much appreciated.

It uses the same account. Once you migrate you can't go back.
How does the battlepass work? When we buy the preminum battlepass do we earn the rewards at the bottom of the tier (under each tier?)? What does the number of days remaining mean? Yes, buying the Premium Battle Pass gets you the rewards on the second row of the Battle Pass. It takes 21 days of Daily Quests to earn enough for the Shadow Rider deck.
Does the preminum pass last from tier 1 to 50? How does your tier expand? WHat happens with preminum pass+ (do you get another box (with extra rewards) under the normal preminum pass tier box under?
I hate when they make a card cover the entire screen asking if I want to use it and I can't see the damn board!!! I wanna see the discard pile etc to make my decision

Yes. You'll have to pick one or the other when it comes to migrating.

Only codes. There's no limit in-game if you buy with Crystals.

PTCGO is shutting down when the full launch of Live happens, which could be around March 2023.

Ok so my pc which is a gaming pc runs all games no issue this game it screams. I was looking to see if this was a thing you are the first thing i saw when I typed why does my pc scream when launching pokemon tcg live.
Mine does the same thing. For the first ~10 seconds upon booting up, it makes a squealing noise.

Download and play, don't migrate.
Wish they would have just let you keep all your cards even if they made them not usable, I had a big collection and I lost a ton of them not knowing about this.

It'll be in your cosmetics (click on the deck box when editing a deck and it'll show you everything you own / can buy).

I have a bunch of used physical codes of various sets. What happens to them once PTCGO is gone. And what should I do with my codes?
It's up to you which game you want to redeem your codes in. If you open packs in TCG Live and get cards you own 4 copies of, you earn Credits which is how you buy new cards.
Codes work in both games.

What will happen if I have like 4 Arceus V both in live and ol, and I transfer my data to live? Will the 4 copies from ol become credits?
From reports I've seen, you should receive Credits if you have 4 copies of a card in Live, then migrate your PTCGO account with 4 copies of that card as well.
I haven't been able to verify it though. And the devs could stop it from happening at any time if they decide to.
I had a Rapid Strike Urshifu theme deck on TGCO and I chose to migrate to Live. Did my deck become credits? I know there are already some decks like Shadow Rider Calyrex, Suicune V, and another more competitive Rapid Strike Urshifu deck. I just want to know what happened to my theme deck.

I had about 60 code card packs in the online version and migrated everything without opening those packs, did I just lose all my packs?

You lost the packs but you should have received a decent amount of Crystals.
They made this completely complicated for no reason. Just let people build decks as they wish so they can test competitively

Deck lists don't migrate to Live. If you didn't export them yourself prior to the migration, you'll have to rebuild them, unfortunately.
i can’t play this game at all, I haven’t been able to kill a single persons card. I end up with about 1 energy and everyone has like 10 and then i lose from not being able to play cards or just being killed as soon as i play a card

If you can get to 125 unopened packs, it's 12,400 Crystals.

I have over 125 unopened card packs for Silver Tempest and Crown Zenith. Wouldn't opening these packs prior to the migration result in a LOT more cards than saving them? 12,400 shards of credit doesn't seem to be all that much on Pokemon Live.
It's any 125 packs. I'm not sure what's going on with pack values right now on PTCGO, but you could probably trade 60-75 Crown Zenith for 125 of, say, Vivid Voltage.
Is there any way to play with friends with any deck you want outside of standard??
The only way to vs a friend in Expanded is if you both queue up at the same time and cross your fingers and toes that PTCGL matches you together.

I… I made the mistake of migrating. I lost everything.
I hate everything abort the this new version. 1. They Robbed me of 20.000 cards. 2. My tournament deck with only rare trainer, pokemon, item and energy cards was lost. I will never spend a single dollar on pokemon Again.

What exactly is the issue? If it's an older phone Live will likely just crash as soon as you boot it up.

Can you even play old cards here? It seems like you can only win with V cards.
Expanded is just Sun & Moon + Sword & Shield. BW + XY aren't available yet.
@@TrustYourPilotTCG what I meant was, V cards make basic ones unplayable. Right? I'm no pokemon TCG veteran, but I've played a few games and V cards almost always are the only ones being played. No leveled up basic pokemon can change the outcome.
