    When i reduce the the pressure i simple am not able to hit notes i usually hit and begin to strain around E4-F4. When i really "push" or "belt" or whatever i can normally hit around Bb4 without much of a problem and up to around D5-Eb5 on a good day. This also confuses me as my lowest singable note is around E2-Eb2 and i thought i was a baritone. Im just a bit confused all around and is having a hard time progressing from an intermediate singer to an advanced level :(

    You shouldn't have compressed your voice in your audio software so much.
    When you're not talking or talking not as loud, I hear white noise.
    And when you're increasing your volume while singing I can't hear it increasing at all.

      Thank you for the feedback, Booskop. I do apply a digital compression to the audio...and I think you are right. Perhaps this is the reason why we don't hear a significant increase in the dynamic range. This being said, the increase would be minimal at any rate. When you do the activity, do you 'feel' the difference between the two actions?

    What do we do with this information? Also, mine still cuts out when the NG

    • @DrDanRobinson
      @DrDanRobinson  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try backing the pressure off the NG but do your best to maintain air flow....

    Can applying too much pressure too long cause one yo get stuck in specific registers or to lose agility

    • @DrDanRobinson
      @DrDanRobinson  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It certainly may lead to an imbalance in your vocal setup.

      @@DrDanRobinson it definitely does that. I have noticed that when I start I vocal warm ups with even air pressure balance i can actually work into my whistle register easily. However when I have been fully warmed up my whistle register is almost inaccessible do to certain pressures I have applied while warming up. This video actually really brought a lot of attention to me about pressure balance. I also did your 28 day challenge.. i went from doing an effortless 22 extended exhale to a 30.. few times I went to 40 but when it came to the consistency 30 seconds is where it got to for me.
