@callumt6764 yeah I'm on controller Monaco is a bit harder but tracks like baku Mexico and Singapore seem to be better Just update the handling and it's actually a really good game
@@giantwaddles9478 I agree, once they fix that weird fwd feeling in low speed corners and at least fix the way you can just ramp curbs it would actually be a very good game, better than f1 23 imo since the only staple from that game is that it was better than f1 22 lmao
@callumt6764 my main complaint is the rotation change and medium speed corners, it doesn't change direction that we'll and it feels like medium speed corners are hard like the middle sector at spa is hard
I just briefly tried F1 24 for the first time using the standard car setup presets (no tweaking yet), and im on a TS-XW wheel. I honestly think that the handling is a huge improvement. I don’t really understand the criticism. The car feels more alive and less planted on “invisible rails”. The low speed corner mechanical grip (with less downforce contribution) makes sense and feels convincing. It enables you to rotate the car with the throttle if some more rotation is needed, which was not possible in previous games. Moreover, it is now possible to save the car from a spin because you feel and hear the slippage earlier. I seriously like what I see so far.
I have tested this setup yesterday at Saudi, I could've pretty much done the entire race on mediums. So, tyre wear with this is extremely good (at least for me).
Alex, I absolutely love your context. I noticed you were using the Moza FSR. Can you share your button mapping or do a video on how you have your wheel set up specific to the buttons on your wheel? I have the same wheel and would love to take full advantage of a proper button scheme. Thanks!
I did a 50% race here a few days ago and my tires were not that bad so early on. My qualy was a 27.5 and it was against other drivers as well. I went all the way to lap 14 on mediums and I had a steady pace. I also don't run any assist
I think I’ve found an ever better setup for multiple tracks if you want to try it. I think the strategy for this game, at least for the camber and toe is all the way left. This keeps the car stable and makes it feel similar to f1 23 handling, it is definitely not slow either because I’ve seen a couple top tt times using something similar. The setup for wings try and keep an offset of the front to rear wings no less than 5, transmission on between 40 and 50, transmission off 10 less than on, engine breaking 100%, camber and toe all the way left, suspension 41, 10, 8, 7, and ride height, 25, 50. Breaks 100% pressure and between 52 and 56 for bb, and for tire pressures all the way right. Hopefully this helps
whilst playing career on longer stints I was finding that I actually had to manage the tires more than I used to on the other games, ease into corners more, engine break more and just flow to some extent, for the engine heating I believe it's when you abuse the ERS may be wrong
Your eyes are constantly on the Delta! you need to turn it off! Reset the Delta everytime you go out or make a setup change. That way you’re completely focussed on giving it a fair shot.
You will need to adjust the setup sometimes from wheel to controller. I had that issue in TT at china, just use it as a baseline and adjust set-up according to your driving style. I changed engine braking to 90 from 50 in china and other stuff and got over a second of lap time and i never run equal performance in TT i hate they added that option for leaderboards, should just be a seperate leaderboard for equal perf
Tbh i think you focus way to much on the handling glitch (who will be patched soon) as on how much the overal game base is such a improvement overal to all ohter games from this franchise.
Have you been under a rock for 2 years? Idk if he was cheating way back when, it definitely looked sus, but since he's gone on to play at LAN and been just as effective
@@smoke_fx_44 if you like the feeling of the car being planted on invisible rails also in the slow speed corners without any tire slippage on throttle, then there is nothing hindering you from sticking to F1 23 or whichever previous version you prefer 🤷🏼♂️. The previous versions were too digital, either you stayed on the “rails”, or you spun out of control without any chance of saving the car. In F1 24 you have a much broader window to play in where you are on the edge of loosing traction but still able to save the situation. Love it! 😻
@Utube2Itube senses a bit hostility there. I'd like the cars to feel somewhat predictable don't enjoy going into a corner, not knowing if it's going to oversteer or understeer. The fact that you can go through pouhon (T12) Flat and 2 wheels on the grass isn't realistic in the slightest. For the most part the game is on rails. The game is a real joke the real pole lap was a 1.29.1 and we have a 1.24.8 that is the largest gap it has ever been
Meta?

Your cutting the track bull no valid laptime bull
WRC handling model on F1 waste of money this game
Handling is good. Low speed corners with less downforce contibution is supposed to be more slippery because you rely purely on mechanical tire grip
