Any advice for belt drive systems? I’m currently on a T-GT II and to able to feel enough grip to drive pleasantly I have to run the FFB strength to 100% and mess around also with road settings, I don’t find it easy to tweak and get great level of detail and grips sometimes. Might be just because it is not a DD base but I was wondering if you have any suggestion. I drove with a Fanatec DD1 and it’s definitely incredible
Thats a brilliant explanation, especially the thing about On Track Effects, Rumble Strip Effects and Off Track Effects. I always thought you have to switch them on in order to have them. As you explain it they are always there and the in-game settings make them that factor stronger. Thanks a lot for that clarification. As I am using a Fanatec DD1 wheelbase as well. somehow i deactivated the heavyness loss when turning and loosing grip and i dont know how to activate it again. In f123 i felt that grip loss but i dont in this game, i can turn the wheel 180 mid corner and the wheel will still be heavy even if im slinding.....
Is it just me or is there zero vibration feedback in the F1 games? In every other sim I’ve played, locking up, wheelspinning or going over curbs will always present some vibration to let you know. Makes it unplayable IMO
Is the force feedback strength setting general to every wheel? Or does it matter how strong of a wheel you have (e.g If i my wheelbase is weaker than the DD1 shouldnt I go higher on this setting?)?
steering rate has an impact on wheels? the way you described it at the beginning of the video sounded more like steering linearity (50% steering rate on wheel is equivalent to 50 steering ingame)
I will need to play with the controller to give good advice, I don’t want to make a video calming to give advice if I haven’t even tested the ideas myself. I only want to give advice on concepts I actually believe work

Yh same like I play with no and tc and I still can’t go like 5 laps with out spinning

I lock up in almost every corner now, where I never locked up in F1 23, I think it might be because I’m still using those standard setups.
it's also the game, much easier to lock up.
I believe the engine braking is what’s throwing the braking off a bit. We should be able to adjust in race like they can.
Do you think these settings, specifically the force feedback ones apply to cheaper wheel setups? Logitech 923 etc? Thanks
