To take myself for example, I am not an alpha, not a beta, I would probably closest to a sigma but I do tend to talk too much at times so I'm not exactly James Bond either. In many ways I am often frowned upon because I am different yet at the same time I have great social skills, allowing me to mingle and get along with people from all walks of life but , I also have trouble finding my clan or my group because I have traumatic experiences with groups and group dynamics wich can be ruthless and being bullied. In a sense I'm an omega yet I am also conflict averse and going along my day I do care about my environment, I help out where ever I can and I'm known for my kindness. Yet I can't hold a steady job, fit into societies mold or follow orders very well and when I'm bullied or backed into a corner I can become so angry even the fiercest alphas will back down for the moment. I really have no idea where to classify myself, I think I will stick with sigma, as I truly abhor herd mentality and mob justice. Equality, fairness, respect, decency and good manners are everything to me

From pure observation and also studying human behavior it’s really not related to age or maturity at all but a simple matter of lifestyle choice. Aristotle observed from his own experience as a soldier when he was young that the men who bragged aloud in camp were usually no where to be found when the enemy approached. An Alpha Male is a productive self confident individual who pursues his goals over women. Also he want's to operate within a social circle and be apart of the status quo.
Alpha Male Characters: Superman, Captain America, Rocky, Conan, your Archetypical Good Guy!
A Sigma Male is pretty much an Alpha Male but doesn't want or care about being apart of a large circle and prefers to have few friends. Also he wants to operate from the outside.
Sigma Characters: Blade, Wolverine, John Wick, James Bond, Solid Snake, Batman, Rambo, Agent 47 (Hitman Games) Basically, your proud loners.
A Beta Male is a productive man that puts over people, especially women above his goals and purpose. He's your typical nice guy who will do whatever it takes to please other people. Regardless of his individual happiness.

A Gamma Male is a non productive, underachiever who has little success with women and with people in general. Also he is deeply unsatisfied with his life. A Gamma Male is similar to a Beta Male, but is far less financially stable and has poor social skills. A broke and socially awkward incel, is the best way to describe a Gamma Male.
Gamma Male Characters: Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver, Jim Carey's Edward Nygma from Batman Forever, Arthur Fleck from The Joker, basically your unhappy loser.
An Omega Male is similar to a Gamma Male but they are proud of their non-success. He believes you should pursue happiness over everything. He doesn't care about having money or pursuing a meaningful relationship with a woman. He has a care free lifestyle. Basically your hippies, stoners and proud alcoholics. They tend to have good social skills and are not socially awkward. They leech on their more productive friends and relatives for resources, In order to fund their habits Basically Omega Males are basically broke, non ambitious Alphas.
Omega Male Characters: A lot of the Adam Sandler movies have Omega Male Characters. The Dude from The Big Lebowski is the Perfect Example of an Omega Character!

My best friend is INTP zeta and thats why I like spending time with him. Betas are too annoying with vampirism and constant hiding behind you or gaving you respomnsibility for own failures.. and with alphas, who start get annoying with they hidden war, that I have hard time, to not melt them apart.
As INTJ we have melancholy core with choleric NT fire (simmilar to ENTJ), so we will fight, compete and win anytime we want. Zetas are mostly Melancholy/Phlegmatic. Hi, it seems like your basically saying that only immature women prefer Alpha types and more mature women prefer beta type. I don’t agree with this. From pure observation and also studying human behavior it’s really not related to age or maturity at all but a simple matter of lifestyle choice.
Interestingly enough, I used to bounce at a strip club and a lot of those girls could be considered alpha types and you would find them in serious relationships with beta men.
And then you have to take into account a persons demeanor. They could be 1-4 of these or possible carry certain alpha traits or beta traits depending on the scenario. Ha! Well said! I think there is merit in all of this. Maybe sometimes less than what I have been giving. At the worst they could be seen as archetypes, but in the end, there needs to be a way to describe sexual market values, Demonstrations of High Value in pairing with others. To say we are just men and woman, billions of us, without some type of ordering and positioning in hierarchies, is just ignorance. Some men/women want power/ control and subordinates right? Some men/woman submit themselves so easily in certain situations to authority or others. Some also want nothing to do with these societal frameworks! I don't see how that is off, or wrong to just throw some Greek letters at it to describe the functions.

This classification of alpha, beta etc.. is to some extent not detailed hence leaves room for people to define each type based on their own perspectives

This guys not accurately describing the Omega Male. Omega's are the #2 and support the leader of the pack. Omega's are good complements to team building. They will pick up the slack if the Alpha is down and rise to the occasion when the team is at its lowest. Ex: You can't have a well performing team full of Alpha males. The alpha males will clash with other alphas.

It's like comparing apples and oranges. A sigma wants no part in what an alpha is after and driven toward, and vice versa. A sigma want's absolute freedom, independence from all things, and sovereign autonomy over their own lives. An alpha is after an entirely different set of principles or values, such as Respect, Fame, Power, etc.
Both at their extremes will have ample and equal opportunity toward resources. Both aren't competing with each other, as they have completely different frameworks which they live by. In order to answer your question, it would have to come down to the eye of the beholder, and what they value, in order to decide who is of higher tier :D
It's like comparing Keanu Reeves with Arnold Schwarzenegger, both have become so famous through their careers in acting, philanthropy etc. Both are known for some of the amazing qualities they have brought, but live entirely different existences. Both are at the greatest heights in terms of being a celebrity, but for different reasons, and different methods. In the end, they are probably polar opposites in personality and their drives toward life.

Hmm this appears grossly oversimplified to me and I do not agree to the idea that some people are not part of the 'community' (society) because they are not appealing to others. No matter how small, every person is a part of society somehow, even of it means you use a toilet or buy a product, have a bank account or visit a library, We are not ancient tribal cultures anymore where people were ostracized and sent to the wilderness to die alone. Even the most abject are safely housed in prisons, even the homeless receive aid and health care. Many or most of these people are the way they are because of the many faults of society, They bear and suffer the pain of a diseased derailed society, where psychopathy reigns supreme and voilence and racism or other forms of bad behavior are condoned. I also wonder, where do the visionaries, the artists, poets, writers and dreamers fit into this picture ? They are the underappreciated but neccesary conscience and creative solution seekers of this problematic society. Without them there would be nothing to elevate a society above the primitive levels of the simple rule of the jungle
