Emily Isabella was a Warewolf for sure the most important part of deception is gaining the trust of the hunters and finding out their plans so you can foil the perfect trap but not without letting them think that they had the drop on you, when all along you have had an escape route. Remember the biggest and best trick the devil ever pulled was to have them all believe he didn't even exist.
I feel you were not welcome by the New Hampshire wilderness and you did the right thing by getting the hell out of there.

Old folks know. I figured it out.
I can't yet prove it but there is a theory that "wood knocking" at least some of it may be the clicking noise some people can make with their tongue I had a friend that could do that so loud I could give me a splitting headache also there is at least one video of the phenomena (bigfoot) that made the noise and not hitting a tree
