- I headed down to Rama 4 in Bangkok, on a nice afternoon. I found a new Makro grocery store just down the street from the Lotus and Big C shopping area. The Rama 4 area has everything you'll need to live a comfortable life in the area.

Thanks JOE,, another great video that is always relevant,, all these little alley ways and small shops are never shown on ANY other youtube videos. I will for sure check out that export freight company Transpeed in that side street. I actually took both my steering wheels to Bangkok to get re covered in Leather,, 1 camaro, 1x GMC pickup steering wheel, got a full pro job $120 Aussie, $550 each here. Incredible service and been back on the cars 18 months and beautifull. I like the booze restrictions during the day as it stops tourist drinking on the streets at all hours.

Very nice and interesting video. Someone in a SE Asia group chat told me to check out your channel. I'm a 57 year old American living in the Philippines for the past year. We just came back the other week from a first time visit to Bangkok. We have one more year in the Philippines and then we make a new plan of where to live next. If I was living in Thailand, I would be doing the exact same thing you are doing in exploring the area to see every hidden corner. Thanks again.

Yes, did I say the wrong hours? Around hour 3 or hour 4, I overheat. Ha ha. I think I mentioned there is a rumor to change the 2 to 5. I'm not sure about the midnight part. We'll see what happens. The little uncle store usually has a clock that always says 7pm.
My daily dose of my favorite city! Thanks! Question about Macro. Over here in the Netherlands you need to have a Chamber of Commerce proof (own a shop or a restaurant)to buy at Macro. Is that also a requirement in Thailand ?
I'm no Makro expert. They used to require a club card. I think it was free, but I assume they monitored what you bought. These days I just walk in and pay cash. No membership required. You can only use a UCB (I think) bank visa.
No such requirement. Anyone can buy at makro as long as you can pay for what you buy.

You can find Corn Pops and Lucky Charms at Villa Market. Maybe a few others. But it will be $9 us a box. Frosted Flakes and Corn Flakes and a few others are much cheaper. I've did a few videos on Villa Market. I think I showed the cereal aisle. I never looked for the flour.

@@wallylove Ya I can understand larger channels not being bale to answer. I take about an hour over the day to answer comments. These channels with 100k sub must get 200 comments a video. But, so far I've tried to answer every comment in two years. I'm not sure how many. Maybe 5000.
Do you purchase gold in Thailand?
No gold for me. I have some precious metal mutual funds.
At 05:29...My Thai mom has always told me that gold is the best investment. You get to wear it, it usually goes up in value, and when you need cash, you can sell it. I took her advice and purchased, not gold, but a Rolex watch for $4K USD and now it's worth $13K USD. I get to wear it, the value has gone up over 3 times, and I could sell it if I need cash.
Sounds like it's always good to listen to mom.
