I was so happy to see you went to Tum Lub Thai! I found them 23 years ago and was so happy to see they were still going strong this January, had to drop by a few times, I just love those things! Saw you on Gary Butlers channel and came over here and this was the first video I watched, can't wait to go through your play list and try your recommendations on my next trip, Thanks!
I will most definitely be visiting this restaurant in Thailand 🇹🇭.I’ve heard the mango sticky rice and coconut cakes are the best and must try in Thailand 🤤.
i can confirm , nothing compares , Mango sticky rice is easily my favorite dessert , and coconut pancakes are amazing , the flavored one are good but the classic one is high above them
Nice to see a real Thai doing Thai food reviews. I don’t trust non Thai doing food reviews 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️👍👍🙏 just subscribe as I’m going to China town soon. I live in Buriram 🤣 can’t wait for some dim sum 🤣🤣🤣
Hi, Opal, I am your fans from HK😊. Really like to see how you enjoy the foods! Khanom Krok and the Patongo with the pandan sauce are also my favourites Thai foods too!❤
I visited your friends shop a few weeks ago. They were so fresh and delicious, tasted amazing with a coffee from Mother roasters. I visited Bad Poutine as well, another great place to eat. Thank you.
Ok Ill place my order I want for my main course Khao Kha Moo with lots of chili and then Mango Sticky Rice and Khanom Krok because I would be on holidays and not dieting 🤣🤣🤣. Fantastic VDO Opal & Patrick❤🌻 Oh and on the way back the hotel I would also get some Moo Satay 😋
Hi, Opal (your name right?). If you like Kakic roast pork I would recommend you to buy it at Lung Yod kamoo at Phuttamonthon Sai 2 street near Siyak Tossakan intersection. He sell 3 kakics for only 100 bath and he give you soup and green vegetable as well. There are many poeple waiting on line. you have to get cue slip when you get there.
Been absolutely loving your videos, you have such a great personality and these videos are so well made!!! Thanks so much for the recommendations, I hope your channel reaches more people!!!
I tried the raw crab, it was delicious ! I was afraid of food poisoning but it was so fresh! At that time, there were not much left crabs in the stand. And it was a man who served so I don’t know if it was Da’s crab or not. Are they the only one selling raw seafood? Love your videos ❤
I love the way the Mangoe fell. Thank God you've stopped all those funny artificial sounds:). Love your videos. Can you make a video of Thai comfort food places open till at least 11pm? Thks
I’m Thai too, but got worm parasites from eating raw crab and raw shrimp in Rayong. No worries, however, every 7-Eleven in Thailand has over-the-counter anti-parasite medication (Mebendazole) for less than ฿35 or about US$1.
hello Opal regarding the raw crab question: i understand its raw crab i wonder if i take away and eat it at home is it safe not chilled or does it spoil if not put in refrigerator?
You can explain the Thai food programs well. If you go to various parts of Thailand and eat food, you can explain the food well. That would be very helpful.
Very informative. But is it written in their menu that they are selling Breast Pork or Braised Pork? And that part, that they are open only 3 hours, it should be 10am-1pm.
Great vlog but I'm not daring enough to risk raw crab. Im sure given the 800baht price tag she only sels top quality and very fresh so risk of 'traditional' food poisoning probably not high but I worried about the parasite. ----- When a person consumes raw or undercooked crabs infected with lung fluke, the parasite may migrate from the intestines to the lung causing paragonimiasis.
5:05 Actually, I am sure that most of your subscribers from Europe or US would be super interested to finally know what is it that chinese shops and also chinese pharmacies sell. As well how to use those products. Trust me, we have no clue what is it, even when we enter the shop :) So, it's definitely a great topic for your future video.
Chinatown in BKK is soooo overrated. Even the locals claim the food is great but the reality is that's NOT. Don't waste your time or money in Chinatown. The food will disappoint.
It is great to see Opal back in Thailand where she belongs, in her zone looking as gorgeous as ever
Thank u ka❤
Oh my god, I'm back in Thailand next month I'm so excited!! Thank you for this video I'm going to all of them! 🙏🙏
I'm a sucker for mango sticky rice. I'll try to eat it everyday when I'm in Thailand. Thanks for an excellent video.

I like to eat crab. But 6 crabs in one go woohoo!! I'll be winking.
6 pieces of crabs not 6 crabs 😭

hi there Opal, may i ask whether your friend's shop Khanom Krok pancake, does it open on Sunday as well? thanks
No, sorry. Close on Sunday ka
I'd been wondering when I see the crabs at the street markets. So it is eaten raw then? Gonna finally check out China town this week :)
Enjoy! They sell shrimps and fish as well, but I prefer the crab 🦀
😅 love it.
❤️❤️❤️
Great video but 1 week late for me as I am back home now :(
there is always next time😆
I think Mark Wiens has a contender for most satisfied facial expressions 😋 while eating.
Mark embellishes way too much
I love the way the Mangoe fell. Thank God you've stopped all those funny artificial sounds:). Love your videos.

i want to fly from NYC to BKK for the mango sticky rice

Opal, I gonna to try but 😥 did you need to take insecticides (medicine for worms) regularly when eat raw pickled food (raw shrimp/crab) ❓🙏🏻
ถ้ามีโอกาสว่างตรงกันอยากขอ collab ด้วยมาก ๆ ครับ
Well interesting feb till June that means this mango sticky rice is not available for me in October
Unfortunately no🥲

Nice to see Opal again... Oo those crabs but I can't eat raw..
They only sell raw crabs ?
Fish and shrimps as well ❤
@@opalstoryofficial Thanks fyi

Patrick never help to catch the mango before it drop off?
hhahahaha
Got beef in khao ka mu? 10pm-1pm? Black fungus soup? Oblink too full on food i think😜
I meant Pork meat 🥹 my bad🥲
Raw crab. Isn't it too harsh for foreigners?🤣🤣🤣 i never try before
Hello... Are you Thai Chinese? I read that large number of Thai Chinese are Teochew. Are you Teochew?
Oops ..can't la, uncooked crab😂
Once you start, you can never stop 😭
Why is there beef in Khao Ka Mu? @6:59 "the beef literally melts in your mouth..." Is it a mistake?
I meant to say pork meat, sorry🥹
@@opalstoryofficial Thank you, I was worried because Khao Kamu is my favourite when in BKK - and I dont eat beef.

Chinatown's just so big and so much to walk around. Not explored fully.
I live here, and still feel the same😂
Is the crab raw?
สวัสดีครับ😊
สวัสดีค่า ขอบคุณที่ชมวีดีโอนะคะ
จร้า😊
What about night time next 5 😂
That’s a great idea!
Did you get sun burned? Looks so red with the current weather.
This month has been better than the last😉
I just bought mangoes today to make mango sticky rice but they’re not gonna be anywhere near Thai mangoes 🥭
Where are you?
@@opalstoryofficial Australia 🦘
250 baht?! geeeze.
So is it Thai or Chinese (Da’s Crab) ? I am confused...
It’s Thai. Seafood with seafood sauce and fermented fish sauce ka
should be 10am
is that crab raw
Wait what beef I thought it was pork lol
5:05 Actually, I am sure that most of your subscribers from Europe or US would be super interested to finally know what is it that chinese shops and also chinese pharmacies sell. Chinatown is all over the world now
raw crab ??????? no no no
open your heart😆
Yes yes yes, even Koreans have their version of raw crab.
Don't eat raw sea food...or uncooked meat, to avoid food poisoning.
Chinatown in BKK is soooo overrated. Even the locals claim the food is great but the reality is that's NOT. Don't waste your time or money in Chinatown. The food will disappoint.
So where do you recommend?
