It gets even darker. No Vegeta = No Trunks. No Trunks = No one to warn about Androids on earth. No Warning = Androids invade. So really, you just have a bad scenario on two different planets.
Bulma is the one who developed the Time Machine. Nothing would prevent her from going back in time to warn people about the androids. There was also Gohan in the future...he could have gone as well... Trunks is not needed.
UniverseShinobi no vegeta....then planet earth would of been destroyed by freiza before the androids even show up or even mentioned, as for trunks he would of never been born. bulma would of never build a time machine, because the androids never existed because everyone is dead along with earth. now if we are talking about when vegeta dies at namek and he is not revived at earth then yeah there wouldnt be no trunks as vegeta is not alive which means bulma would of never got into a relationship with him, which also means no time machine and the androids would of kill everyone

In case you're looking for a Scenario, How about this: Goku defeats Nappa as he does in the Actual Series, Vegeta, instead of killing Nappa, takes him along with him to Planet Frieza after Fighting Goku. How would this have affected the Series? Would Nappa make a difference fighting Frieza and become a Z-Fighter? Would he have become a Super Sayian? Would he get a Zenkai Boost after his defeat at Goku's Hands? How would he Influence Vegeta?
it's intersting ,i think nappa would eventually be killed by frieza on planet namek even he and vegeta's will team up with goku,yes he will get a zenkai boost but it will not change nothing...and serios nappa a z-figher i don't think he will cooparate with the z-fighter's because he is proud and cocky like vegeta

If no Vegeta that means no Trunks, and with no Trunks that means no Time Travel, and no Time Travel means no Warning the Z Warriors, no Warning the Z Warriors means Goku dies of Heart Virus, and with Goku dead.... everyone dies from the Androids. :C

Mat Waring Well babidi was attracted to the earth because of it's strong energy. He would arrive, dabura would kill frieza and babidi would eventually find enough energy to re awaken buu. So in the end, Buu wins. And even than I doubt frieza would be able to find the androids before gero could awaken them.
Your forgetting one key thing. By hiding power levels gohan and krillin could have gathered the dragon balls and made a wish sooner. Piccolo could then come sooner and fulfill a similar role as vegeta.
There is a scenario where Goku ends up even stronger, and it's not far fetched. Assuming he didn't come into direct contact with Frieza right after arriving on Namek(which is the most likely scenario considering that's precisely what happened with Piccolo), he would certainly feel Frieza's immense power or be warned by Krilling or Gohan. Knowing that he's simply not strong enough, one of the others would eventually mention that Guru could give him a power boost. Eventually, Frieza would resume his search, which would most likely take him to the Village Vegeta originally destroys. Knowing what would happen to the villagers, Goku would try to help them. That's when he meets Frieza. Assuming both Dodoria and Zarbon are with Frieza at this point, Frieza would likely tell one of them to deal with Goku and his friends, specially considering the scouters would say Goku's power level is 5000(like they did against the Ginyu Force). Goku would certainly defeat one of them(possibly Dodoria) with a single attack just like he did against Recoome. Here you can assume Zarbon tries to face him next, but I think it's more likely that Frieza will realize Goku is actually much stronger than the scouters say. This is where they face each other. Let us assume Zarbon is still alive. Assuming Goku received a power boost from Guru, he's probably as strong as Frieza's first form at this point, but even if he isn't it makes little difference to what comes next. At this point Zarbon would probably go up against Gohan and Krillin while Goku faces off against Frieza. Zarbon would be big a problem for them... if not for Neil. Just like he originally did, Guru would eventually send Neil to "help the earthlings", so while Goku is getting destroyed by Frieza, Neil would easily defeat Zarbon. Seeing his father dying at Frieza's hand(possibly second form at this point), Gohan would get mad and attack Frieza, getting him off of his father(he originally manages to get Frieza's second form off of Krillin and his third form off of Frieza). In turn Frieza would attack Gohan in revenge. As you can see, this is precisely what happened to Krillin, except it's Goku this time, and based on what originally happens, this is when Dende steps in to heal Goku. However, since Dende may not be there(but he could be, since he would like to help the villagers, considering his healing powers), we can easily say Goku eats a Senzu Bean at his first chance. Either way, at this point Goku receives his massive Zenkai boost. Add to that the power boost from Guru and Goku is now stronger than he is in the original version. At this point Frieza is at a massive disadvantage, because he's probably not in his final form. Frieza would eventually go into his final form, but he would go up against Goku right away. From here on, Goku would have an easier fight, and Neil would be there to take on Piccolo's role. You may say this is speculation, but it's all based on their original reactions to very similar situations. It's not "I think they would react like this", it's "when faced with a similar situation, this is how they reacted".
dante meriere thats impossible because he would have come to name a month after krillin and gohan and they would already have been killed by zarbon and dodoria and freiza by then would either A. have his immortality or B. guru would be killed leaving the Dragon balls useless and freiza pissed so he would destroy the planet either way everyone is screwed
I really like this scenario because not only is it entirely possible, but it also makes total sense. This is how the characters would have reacted without the presence of Vegeta influencing the events on the planet. I see no reason as to why Goku would not seek for Gurus powers for assistance. Even if he didn't want to, surely Gohan and Krillin would make this apparent to Goku and he would have to accept that. Also Frieza was purposefully suppressing his power by slowly transforming throughout the original fight, so as to torture his victims. Goku, just like in the original fight, wouldn't undoubtedly suffer the same fate. And I believe that even without Dende all it would take is the assistance of Nail and even just a distraction from Krillin like he did with second form Frieza, to get a Sensu to Goku. This would prolong the fight even more than it already was before, but eventually with the Death of one of Gokus friends, he'd accomplish super Saiyan.
dante meriere Goku wouldn't get any boost from Guru. He only unlocks the hidden potential on the people. To Goku, this was done when Goku drank the Ultra Sacred Water as a kid, in the Piccolo Saga.

Not to mention he still has Kaioken x 30 - meaning his power level could go up to 1.8 million After he tires himself out he'd take the Senzu his Zenkai would make his power reach 3 million Frieza would get pissed - kill Gohan/Krillen in front of him, he'd transform. No, a senzu bean would not be enough because goku would be weaker than frieza's first form and whose to say frieza may not hurt krillin or gohan and use a bean on them?

What, are you saying the healing tank gives you a greater Zenkai boost? The Senzu would've been enough as long as Goku got injured enough and i'm sure Frieza could hurt him more than Vegeta did. Plus, there is Dende who can also heal him so there is a possibility of multiple Zenkai boosts before Frieza finds out and kills Dende. and If one Zenkai made Goku jump to 3 million, how many will 2 or 3 do? He'd probably be able to take Frieza with kaioken alone. AND - Don't forget that goku may or may not visit Guru and get his potential unlocked. It could go either way - Yes, it is possible Goku would die against Frieza. But it is also very possible that he'd get a Zenkai boost anyway due to having more Senzu beans (He had 3, one for Vegeta, one for Gohan and one for Krillen since Vegeta is not there and Gohan and krillen aren't injured.... you get the picture) So you were wrong - don't be mad about it, It happens to all of us. Goku Could, possibly would beat Frieza just as much as he would possibly lose against Frieza. It really depends on what the author would do. Because with all honesty the whole Namek Saga was one Deus Ex Machina after another. Koriyama gave Saiyans one boost after another when he realized that Frieza was too damn powerful. Think about it, Goku Saiyan Saga Power level 416 Goku vs Frieza Power level THREE MILLION! That's almost 10000x stronger!

Mohammad Al-Zawahreh goku had basically received his max amount of zenkai's to help him reach a ssj. Remember he got 1 on earth after the vegeta fight, at least 2 while training for namek, and 1 more on namek (his pl was 90k, then jumped to 3million). Vegeta received 1 after his battle on earth, 1 vs zarbon, 1 vs recoome and 1 when krillen blasted him in the midsection. Gohan got 1 on earth after the saiyan battle, a guru power up, and 1 after recoome. The thing w/gohan tho is this, since he had some potential unlocked, along w/his natural hidden potential, his power was climbing w/o the use of excessive zenkai's like goku/vegeta.
Without Vegeta around to taunt Frieza into transforming, help Cell absorb android 18 and help Buu be freed, they might be better off. He got more people killed as an ally than as an enemy. Nail could have done pretty much all Vegeta did on Namek aside from murdering Namekians. And if Dende just healed Goku instead of waiting for the healing pod, Goku could have helped in the fight against Frieza from the start. Seems Piccolo was strong enough to beat Android 20 so could have beaten 19 too. Especially with the other Z fighters. Could have been future Gohan from the future instead of Trunks. I think Future Gohan died trying to protect Trunks after all. So that would be a tale of two Gohans. Cell would have been beaten once a Saiyan gets out of the time chamber. I figure Goku would have gone in with Future Gohan and well, it would make sense that Future Gohan who is adult would not want to risk his child self. Cell would at most get semi-perfect. No Buu either, since there's no Vegeta there to throw some tantrum about pride. Goku would not have been dead either.
@NOVA2001 yeah Vegeta might hurt their chances A LOT in many battles but overall Vegeta helped saved Krillin and gohan once against guldo, saved Gohan against Frieza..Goku against Android 19, Buuhan being beaten up by Vegito and Kid Buu being stalled for Goku to use the spirit bomb...oh and against Cell while Gohan was having his Kamehameha battle..so yes Vegeta helps..A LOT..also Trunks..

And just because something happened in one timeline, doesnt mean it happened in every timeline. Theres 3 main timelines in the cell saga. One of which doesnt get mentioned really at all. But its safe too assume there are many alternate timelines (yes including gts timeline) where many different paths played out. Hell there might be a timeline where goku unlocked ssj the first time krillin dies

+Quentin Blue Yes that's quite true; Vegeta and Nappa invaded earth like Raditz did, the only difference was they were motivated by the Dragonballs rather than getting Goku to Join them (Though Vegeta did offer him that chance). Vegeta would've just been seen as not much different than Raditz if Krillin had killed him; so people wouldn't have really missed him. You don't hear people saying bring back Raditz because as far as they're concerned he ran his course. Vegeta would've just been written off as a villain rather than a potential ally the Z fighters would need help from some day.

But then again, how would vegeta even know that guru had the power to unlock potential, so I don't think that would have even happened. I always thought Vegeta should've stayed dead on Namek. His ending with Frieza would've been the perfect ending for his character. His heart to heart speech to Goku before dying. It was a powerful ending for him. Then they just bring him back and take away some of the dramatic feel from that emotional scene from vegeta earlier. I know that would've affected the trunks storyline, but i'm sure the writers could've come up with something else and still work the Cell/ Android storyline in.
Also, I probably would have liked Vegeta's character better if that's how he went. Even though he was selfish, brutal, and ruthless, you could at the very least sympathize with the fact that Frieza sort of had a hand in making him that way, violence and battle being the only thing he ever knew. Him being revived and still acting like a jerkwad (even though he was no where near as ruthless as before) took away any dramatic impact and geniality that came from his "final" words. It angered me greatly how in spite of all his evil deeds, he was still wished back to life, because the wish was "bring back all those who were killed by Frieza and his men" thus excluding those innocent villagers that Vegeta slaughtered earlier, and including him instead. I'm sure if Toriyama had his way, he would kept Vegeta dead, and ended the franchise there, but no, producers and fanboys would have none of that unfortunately.
Yeah that annoyed me a bit too. As much as I liked his character it was how ungrateful he was from being wished back. Like you said, it took away from that dramatic speech he gave in the earlier episode.

Dan Garcia for the same reason why Shenron was never used to "kill" Vegeta and Nappa or any other villain in the series. Shenron is only as strong as his creator Kami (or later Dende). So he "can" make you stronger, but only as strong as Kami is. And that's the same reason why he can't kill villains, since they are always stronger than Shenron.
Dan Garcia Because the dragon can't grant wishes beyond the scope of his creator's power. You can't wish to become the strongest fighter in the universe, because Kami/Guru/Dende is nowhere near powerful enough to do that. It gets a bit weird, because I believe they are referring to spiritual strength and not actual powerlevels, though, since Dende is useless in an actual fight but is still a better spiritual guide for Shenron then Kami was. But yea, in essence, the dragon can't grant a wish that exceeds the scope of his creators spiritual energy or whatever they draw their power from.
I see a potential way out for them. If Goku was able to arrive in time, he could "amuse" Freiza long enough for Krillen and Gohan to summon Porunga with Dende. They could wish back two people, and use their last wish to warp everyone to Earth besides Freiza and co. Goku would get a zenkai boost from losing to Freiza, and a similar battle would happen on Earth that happened on Namek. Maybe Goku training in higher gravity like Vegeta might have even given him a stronger base form. The only problem would be Freiza destroying Earth like he did on Namek. The only solution I can come up with is collecting the Dragon Balls in advance and summoning Shenron/Porunga to undo Freizas damage before the Earth gets destroyed completely. Goku would likely go SSJ after feeling hopeless. I don't think Future Gohan would survive long enough to replace Trunks, but Bulma might come back to give Goku the antidote after she perfected the time machine more. Goku and Gohan would go in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber first, and would come out during semi-perfect Cell, which would end him. Piccolo would be enough to stop 19/20.
Zarbon or Dodoria would have killed Gohan and Krillin, Frieza wouldn't call the ginyu force, would wish for immortality and kill goku when he arrives and destroys planet Namek afterwards. One day Frieza would cross Earth and either destroy or conquer it.The end

In "Dragon Ball Multiverse" there is universe in which Krillin kills Vegeta, then he, Gohan, Dende and Bulma dies on Namek when Freeza destroys it - Goku arrives too late and teams up with Nail to avenge them, but they die during the battle in the capital city of Freeza's empire, killed by Freeza and captain Ginyu and Reecome.
Multiverse never makes since to me. Why does Frieza blow up Namek when he doesn't get his wish, but doesn't in the original story? How come Gohan and Krillin can kill Zarbon? How can Krillin even capture Appule? Too many plotholes...

Yamcha wouldn't have a kid. The closest thing he has to a woman who won't leave him is Puar. Bulma is a genius, eventually she's going to give up on a guy who won't commit and is constantly surrounded by other women. And even if Yamcha had a kid with Bulma, the odds of that human kid surviving in a future ruled by the Androids are slim. And even if he survived and tried to go back in time, Cell would kill him and steal the time machine every single time. And even if the kid somehow evaded Cell, the very idea of having a kid with Bulma freaked Yamcha out so much, he'd ruin any chance of the kid being born in that timeline. And in the end they needed an extra Super Saiya-jin to stall Cell, without the half Saiya-jin Trunks they'd all die.

This is great! I think a great question will also be "What if Goku was not a kind Saiyan?". What if Goku killed Piccolo? No one to help him with Raditz. Goku's honor and kindness are really what keeps the story going. This is why he's my favorite character.

Without Vegeta, Dodoria would have killed Gohan and Krillin when they tried to save Dende. Goku would rekt Dodoria and Zabon, but lose to Frieza because 1) he wouldn't have the zenkai boost from the fight against Captain Ginyu, and 2) Piccolo would not be there to help him pull a Spirit Bomb. Everybody dies, the end.

He overlooked the fact that Vegeta made Frieza transform for the first time or that Ginyu wouldn't turn into a frog because of trying to switch bodies with Vegeta.
If it hasn't already been pointed out, Remember Vegeta's flashback of himself, Radditz and Nappa being de-briefed by Frieza? He told them that he already knew Frieza destroyed their planet. Dodoria didn't have to tell him anything.
Goes to show you that Goku being merciful was a benefit to him and Earth. Despite everything Vegeta has done to harm Earth, he helped the Z fighters. He helped revive Goku during the Frieda saga, he threw an energy blast vs perfect cell that distracted him enough for Gohan to finish him, most importantly, hw helped Goku beat Buu and Omega Shenron. Do the right thing and it most likely will benefit you.
Actually, Frieza claims he called the Ginyu Force because of his foreboding regarding Goku so wouldn't he have called them regardless? He even calls the Ginyu Force before Zarbon is killed.
On namek unless you count guru unlocking their potential Gohan and krillin would have been killed by zarbon and dodoria . At some point goku would show up and due to his forgiving and naive nature ...... maybe piccolo would still help out . Maybe future Gohan and future Bulma would Have the time machine concept like it was originally intended. I still say I liked the idea of having raditz along with vegeta.
Gee this was a bad theory. Everyone knows that Dragon Ball Z logic dictates Goku winning because plot. My theory is that they would kill Zarbon and Dedoria and the henchmen (like you say) but the new scouters don't arrive on time. When Frieza shows up, Goku fights him 1st form through around 3rd form, with Nail showing up around 2nd form and helping Goku only to get fucked up and tossed aside. Meanwhile Krillin, Gohan and Dende sneak off to Frieza's ship and run into the scouter delivery team and have to fight both them and the remaining guards. Gohan goes to retrieve the 2 balls held by Bulma and drops off the scouter box at the same time (and we'll say she stores them in a capsule). Dende uses the password for the Namekian Dragon Balls and summons the dragon. They still wish Piccolo back. Frieza would notice the dragon but before he can get to his ship Goku heads him off and thats when Guru dies and the balls deactivate. On his way to get to the others, Piccolo finds Nail and they still fuse. Then Goku, Piccolo, Krillin and Gohan force Frieza into his final form and start taking a real ass beating, with Dende sneaking in to heal here and there. Frieza figures out whats happening and disappears to hunt down Dende. Goku is really battered since he fought Frieza the most, and pops the remaining Senzu. Piccolo reminds Goku that this may be a good time to start the spirit bomb. Dende is killed and so the three Z fighters distract Frieza for a few minutes so Goku can charge. Then the rest of the events play out the same as the anime. Goku gets his shit rocked and pulls off the spirit bomb, Frieza shoots Piccolo and kills Krillin causing Goku to go Super Saiyan, King Kai's plan still happens and you know the rest.
Well, Future Trunks comes from an alternate timeline. In theory, it shouldn't be affected unless FT's timeline plays out like this hypothetical one up until after Frieza saga, in which case he would never be conceived.
The biggest issue is that without Vegita, Frieza's army would've still been at full power by the time the Ginyu Force was called in. And I honestly doubt Krillin and Gohan would've been able to hold out for Goku without Vegita there to back them up.
What about the hyperbolic time chamber? mr.popo knew about it, so goku could've trained there in case he escaped namek. The only problem would be the need to know how strong one must be to enter the time chamber
Why not say they left namek with two dragon balls. Goku goes in the hyperbolic time chamber after realizes the stark contrast in their power. Goku closes the gap and the two dragon balls lure frieza on to the planet without just blowing it up from a distance.

Why the fuck would Goku say that. The reason why Goku wanted to keep Vegeta alive was just so he could fight him later, knowing full well that Vegeta would probably just try to kill them again. Also, he didn't spare Freeza because he wanted to give him a second chance. He knew that he had broken him beyond repair by humiliating him and showing him what true fear was like. After Freeza cut himself in half he gave him his energy so he could spend the rest of his days wallowing in his own misery and hopefully showing him how precious life really is.

The real question is what would have happened if Krillin killed Freeza on namek. Remember the part where he does a kienzan, freeza comes at him, he does a Taiyoken and freeza is paralised, then he calls for vegeta to blast him instead of doing another kienzan? How would the even have played out? Yes i know freeza can survive being cut in two in his final form if given ki from a super sayan, that's real nice. He was limping on the ground before goku gave him energy.
but goku would loose to frieza, but he has senzus left over due to krillen, gohan, and vegeta not needing them. That means he would still get some zenkai boosts and could defeat frieza, but with only one super sayin, the androids kill everyone

He forgot about Nail, with a power level of 43,000. Nail could have helped the Z fighters take out Zarbon and DaDorean. Then they just have to get Goku to Guru before he dies for a power boost that does the same thing the Zenkai does.
i believe that goku didnt really need to get his ass kick by vegeta; since he was so weak after the spiritbomb against frieza yet still manage to become supersaiyan. He only needed the motivation of seeing Gohan or Krillen die at the hands of frieza.
What if Goku killed Frieza in his first form? Goku when he arrived on Namek would be comparable to Frieza's third form, which means that he might go for a combat pragmatist angle, and kill Frieza before he could go all out. He did it to Recoome, remember?
Both Gohan and Krillen seemed capable of inflicting some damage to Frieza in his first stage of transformation ( even if you consider him to have not taken them seriously which I doubt any of Frieza or Frieza's minions would) so perhaps the only difficulty they were having against Ginyu was the fact that he was in Goku's body which they did not want to harm.
Good video and your points solid leading me to side with you. Some people might bring up Goku having more senzu beans to use but Frieza is smart enough to either take them or destroy them like he did Dende. Most of Dbz is layed out in a way that things can't be changed without causing big problems.
I feel like if Goku, Krillin, Gohan and Bulma escaped, then they could go back to Earth and could train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber which would give Goku the time to transform into a Super Sayian, while also making Krillin & Gohan stronger too.

Krillin was able to cut off Frieza's tail in second form with a Kienzan, so he should be able to cut Frieza in half in his first form if he could catch him by surprise with an extremely powerful Kienzan.

Your forgetting one key thing. By hiding power levels gohan and krillin could have gathered the dragon balls and made a wish sooner. Piccolo could then come sooner and fulfill a similar role as vegeta.
There is a scenario where Goku ends up even stronger, and it's not far fetched. Assuming he didn't come into direct contact with Frieza right after arriving on Namek(which is the most likely scenario considering that's precisely what happened with Piccolo), he would certainly feel Frieza's immense power or be warned by Krilling or Gohan. Knowing that he's simply not strong enough, one of the others would eventually mention that Guru could give him a power boost.
Eventually, Frieza would resume his search, which would most likely take him to the Village Vegeta originally destroys. Knowing what would happen to the villagers, Goku would try to help them. That's when he meets Frieza. Assuming both Dodoria and Zarbon are with Frieza at this point, Frieza would likely tell one of them to deal with Goku and his friends, specially considering the scouters would say Goku's power level is 5000(like they did against the Ginyu Force). Goku would certainly defeat one of them(possibly Dodoria) with a single attack just like he did against Recoome. Here you can assume Zarbon tries to face him next, but I think it's more likely that Frieza will realize Goku is actually much stronger than the scouters say. This is where they face each other. Let us assume Zarbon is still alive.
Assuming Goku received a power boost from Guru, he's probably as strong as Frieza's first form at this point, but even if he isn't it makes little difference to what comes next.
At this point Zarbon would probably go up against Gohan and Krillin while Goku faces off against Frieza. Zarbon would be big a problem for them... if not for Neil. Just like he originally did, Guru would eventually send Neil to "help the earthlings", so while Goku is getting destroyed by Frieza, Neil would easily defeat Zarbon.
Seeing his father dying at Frieza's hand(possibly second form at this point), Gohan would get mad and attack Frieza, getting him off of his father(he originally manages to get Frieza's second form off of Krillin and his third form off of Frieza). In turn Frieza would attack Gohan in revenge. As you can see, this is precisely what happened to Krillin, except it's Goku this time, and based on what originally happens, this is when Dende steps in to heal Goku. However, since Dende may not be there(but he could be, since he would like to help the villagers, considering his healing powers), we can easily say Goku eats a Senzu Bean at his first chance. Either way, at this point Goku receives his massive Zenkai boost. Add to that the power boost from Guru and Goku is now stronger than he is in the original version. At this point Frieza is at a massive disadvantage, because he's probably not in his final form.
Frieza would eventually go into his final form, but he would go up against Goku right away. From here on, Goku would have an easier fight, and Neil would be there to take on Piccolo's role. You may say this is speculation, but it's all based on their original reactions to very similar situations. It's not "I think they would react like this", it's "when faced with a similar situation, this is how they reacted".

I really like this scenario because not only is it entirely possible, but it also makes total sense. This is how the characters would have reacted without the presence of Vegeta influencing the events on the planet. I see no reason as to why Goku would not seek for Gurus powers for assistance. Even if he didn't want to, surely Gohan and Krillin would make this apparent to Goku and he would have to accept that. Also Frieza was purposefully suppressing his power by slowly transforming throughout the original fight, so as to torture his victims. Goku, just like in the original fight, wouldn't undoubtedly suffer the same fate. And I believe that even without Dende all it would take is the assistance of Nail and even just a distraction from Krillin like he did with second form Frieza, to get a Sensu to Goku. This would prolong the fight even more than it already was before, but eventually with the Death of one of Gokus friends, he'd accomplish super Saiyan.
dante meriere Goku wouldn't get any boost from Guru. He only unlocks the hidden potential on the people. To Goku, this was done when Goku drank the Ultra Sacred Water as a kid, in the Piccolo Saga.

The Senzu would've been enough as long as Goku got injured enough and i'm sure Frieza could hurt him more than Vegeta did.
Plus, there is Dende who can also heal him so there is a possibility of multiple Zenkai boosts before Frieza finds out and kills Dende. and If one Zenkai made Goku jump to 3 million, how many will 2 or 3 do? He'd probably be able to take Frieza with kaioken alone.
AND - Don't forget that goku may or may not visit Guru and get his potential unlocked.
It could go either way - Yes, it is possible Goku would die against Frieza. But it is also very possible that he'd get a Zenkai boost anyway due to having more Senzu beans (He had 3, one for Vegeta, one for Gohan and one for Krillen since Vegeta is not there and Gohan and krillen aren't injured.... you get the picture)

goku had basically received his max amount of zenkai's to help him reach a ssj. Remember he got 1 on earth after the vegeta fight, at least 2 while training for namek, and 1 more on namek (his pl was 90k, then jumped to 3million). Vegeta received 1 after his battle on earth, 1 vs zarbon, 1 vs recoome and 1 when krillen blasted him in the midsection. Gohan got 1 on earth after the saiyan battle, a guru power up, and 1 after recoome. The thing w/gohan tho is this, since he had some potential unlocked, along w/his natural hidden potential, his power was climbing w/o the use of excessive zenkai's like goku/vegeta.
Without Vegeta around to taunt Frieza into transforming, help Cell absorb android 18 and help Buu be freed, they might be better off. He got more people killed as an ally than as an enemy.
Nail could have done pretty much all Vegeta did on Namek aside from murdering Namekians. And if Dende just healed Goku instead of waiting for the healing pod, Goku could have helped in the fight against Frieza from the start.
Seems Piccolo was strong enough to beat Android 20 so could have beaten 19 too. Especially with the other Z fighters.
Could have been future Gohan from the future instead of Trunks. I think Future Gohan died trying to protect Trunks after all. So that would be a tale of two Gohans. Cell would have been beaten once a Saiyan gets out of the time chamber. I figure Goku would have gone in with Future Gohan and well, it would make sense that Future Gohan who is adult would not want to risk his child self.
Cell would at most get semi-perfect.

+Quentin Blue Yes that's quite true; Vegeta and Nappa invaded earth like Raditz did, the only difference was they were motivated by the Dragonballs rather than getting Goku to Join them (Though Vegeta did offer him that chance). Vegeta would've just been seen as not much different than Raditz if Krillin had killed him; so people wouldn't have really missed him. You don't hear people saying bring back Raditz because as far as they're concerned he ran his course. Vegeta would've just been written off as a villain rather than a potential ally the Z fighters would need help from some day.

Hmm, not sure about that (don't remember that), but nevertheless Guru would not have helped vegeta unless vegeta made some kind of threat. Similar to how the nameks in the village refused to give frieza the dragonballs, until frieza threatened to kill all their children (I think that was the threat that they finally gave in to). Not sure what threat vegeta would have made, cos if vegeta threatened guru's life, guru still would not agree.

I always thought Vegeta should've stayed dead on Namek. His ending with Frieza would've been the perfect ending for his character. His heart to heart speech to Goku before dying. It was a powerful ending for him. Then they just bring him back and take away some of the dramatic feel from that emotional scene from vegeta earlier. I know that would've affected the trunks storyline, but i'm sure the writers could've come up with something else and still work the Cell/ Android storyline in.
Another reason why it would have made so much more sense for the DB series to end at the Frieza saga.
Also, I probably would have liked Vegeta's character better if that's how he went. Even though he was selfish, brutal, and ruthless, you could at the very least sympathize with the fact that Frieza sort of had a hand in making him that way, violence and battle being the only thing he ever knew. Him being revived and still acting like a jerkwad (even though he was no where near as ruthless as before) took away any dramatic impact and geniality that came from his "final" words. It angered me greatly how in spite of all his evil deeds, he was still wished back to life, because the wish was "bring back all those who were killed by Frieza and his men" thus excluding those innocent villagers that Vegeta slaughtered earlier, and including him instead. I'm sure if Toriyama had his way, he would kept Vegeta dead, and ended the franchise there, but no, producers and fanboys would have none of that unfortunately.
Yeah that annoyed me a bit too. As much as I liked his character it was how ungrateful he was from being wished back. Like you said, it took away from that dramatic speech he gave in the earlier episode.

Dan Garcia for the same reason why Shenron was never used to "kill" Vegeta and Nappa or any other villain in the series. Shenron is only as strong as his creator Kami (or later Dende). So he "can" make you stronger, but only as strong as Kami is. And that's the same reason why he can't kill villains, since they are always stronger than Shenron.
Dan Garcia Because the dragon can't grant wishes beyond the scope of his creator's power. You can't wish to become the strongest fighter in the universe, because Kami/Guru/Dende is nowhere near powerful enough to do that.
It gets a bit weird, because I believe they are referring to spiritual strength and not actual powerlevels, though, since Dende is useless in an actual fight but is still a better spiritual guide for Shenron then Kami was.

I see a potential way out for them. If Goku was able to arrive in time, he could "amuse" Freiza long enough for Krillen and Gohan to summon Porunga with Dende. They could wish back two people, and use their last wish to warp everyone to Earth besides Freiza and co. Goku would get a zenkai boost from losing to Freiza, and a similar battle would happen on Earth that happened on Namek. Maybe Goku training in higher gravity like Vegeta might have even given him a stronger base form.
The only problem would be Freiza destroying Earth like he did on Namek. The only solution I can come up with is collecting the Dragon Balls in advance and summoning Shenron/Porunga to undo Freizas damage before the Earth gets destroyed completely. Goku would likely go SSJ after feeling hopeless.
I don't think Future Gohan would survive long enough to replace Trunks, but Bulma might come back to give Goku the antidote after she perfected the time machine more. Goku and Gohan would go in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber first, and would come out during semi-perfect Cell, which would end him. Piccolo would be enough to stop 19/20.
Zarbon or Dodoria would have killed Gohan and Krillin, Frieza wouldn't call the ginyu force, would wish for immortality and kill goku when he arrives and destroys planet Namek afterwards. One day Frieza would cross Earth and either destroy or conquer it.The end

In "Dragon Ball Multiverse" there is universe in which Krillin kills Vegeta, then he, Gohan, Dende and Bulma dies on Namek when Freeza destroys it - Goku arrives too late and teams up with Nail to avenge them, but they die during the battle in the capital city of Freeza's empire, killed by Freeza and captain Ginyu and Reecome.

Yamcha wouldn't have a kid. The closest thing he has to a woman who won't leave him is Puar. Bulma is a genius, eventually she's going to give up on a guy who won't commit and is constantly surrounded by other women. And even if Yamcha had a kid with Bulma, the odds of that human kid surviving in a future ruled by the Androids are slim. And even if he survived and tried to go back in time, Cell would kill him and steal the time machine every single time. And even if the kid somehow evaded Cell, the very idea of having a kid with Bulma freaked Yamcha out so much, he'd ruin any chance of the kid being born in that timeline. And in the end they needed an extra Super Saiya-jin to stall Cell, without the half Saiya-jin Trunks they'd all die.

Goes to show you that Goku being merciful was a benefit to him and Earth. Despite everything Vegeta has done to harm Earth, he helped the Z fighters. He helped revive Goku during the Frieda saga, he threw an energy blast vs perfect cell that distracted him enough for Gohan to finish him, most importantly, hw helped Goku beat Buu and Omega Shenron. Do the right thing and it most likely will benefit you.

Everyone knows that Dragon Ball Z logic dictates Goku winning because plot.
My theory is that they would kill Zarbon and Dedoria and the henchmen (like you say) but the new scouters don't arrive on time. When Frieza shows up, Goku fights him 1st form through around 3rd form, with Nail showing up around 2nd form and helping Goku only to get fucked up and tossed aside. Meanwhile Krillin, Gohan and Dende sneak off to Frieza's ship and run into the scouter delivery team and have to fight both them and the remaining guards. Gohan goes to retrieve the 2 balls held by Bulma and drops off the scouter box at the same time (and we'll say she stores them in a capsule). Dende uses the password for the Namekian Dragon Balls and summons the dragon. They still wish Piccolo back. Frieza would notice the dragon but before he can get to his ship Goku heads him off and thats when Guru dies and the balls deactivate. On his way to get to the others, Piccolo finds Nail and they still fuse. Then Goku, Piccolo, Krillin and Gohan force Frieza into his final form and start taking a real ass beating, with Dende sneaking in to heal here and there. Frieza figures out whats happening and disappears to hunt down Dende. Goku is really battered since he fought Frieza the most, and pops the remaining Senzu. Piccolo reminds Goku that this may be a good time to start the spirit bomb. Dende is killed and so the three Z fighters distract Frieza for a few minutes so Goku can charge. Then the rest of the events play out the same as the anime.
Goku gets his shit rocked and pulls off the spirit bomb, Frieza shoots Piccolo and kills Krillin causing Goku to go Super Saiyan, King Kai's plan still happens and you know the rest.

Well, Future Trunks comes from an alternate timeline. In theory, it shouldn't be affected unless FT's timeline plays out like this hypothetical one up until after Frieza saga, in which case he would never be conceived.

If this had happened, krillin would be known as one of the most legendary characters in DBZ without question.
The biggest issue is that without Vegita, Frieza's army would've still been at full power by the time the Ginyu Force was called in. And I honestly doubt Krillin and Gohan would've been able to hold out for Goku without Vegita there to back them up.

Why not say they left namek with two dragon balls. Goku goes in the hyperbolic time chamber after realizes the stark contrast in their power. Goku closes the gap and the two dragon balls lure frieza on to the planet without just blowing it up from a distance.
You forgot an important scenario, if Krillin and Gohan had gathered all the dragon balls on Namek they could defeat freiza. They could wish goku to be bumped up to a super saiyan or strong enough to beat freiza.

Why the fuck would Goku say that. The reason why Goku wanted to keep Vegeta alive was just so he could fight him later, knowing full well that Vegeta would probably just try to kill them again. Also, he didn't spare Freeza because he wanted to give him a second chance. He knew that he had broken him beyond repair by humiliating him and showing him what true fear was like. After Freeza cut himself in half he gave him his energy so he could spend the rest of his days wallowing in his own misery and hopefully showing him how precious life really is.

He forgot about Nail, with a power level of 43,000. Nail could have helped the Z fighters take out Zarbon and DaDorean. Then they just have to get Goku to Guru before he dies for a power boost that does the same thing the Zenkai does.
Also we know how deaths work in dbz he would probably just be in spirit realm until he is wished back
i believe that goku didnt really need to get his ass kick by vegeta; since he was so weak after the spiritbomb against frieza yet still manage to become supersaiyan. He only needed the motivation of seeing Gohan or Krillen die at the hands of frieza.

What if Goku killed Frieza in his first form? Goku when he arrived on Namek would be comparable to Frieza's third form, which means that he might go for a combat pragmatist angle, and kill Frieza before he could go all out. He did it to Recoome, remember?
Both Gohan and Krillen seemed capable of inflicting some damage to Frieza in his first stage of transformation ( even if you consider him to have not taken them seriously which I doubt any of Frieza or Frieza's minions would) so perhaps the only difficulty they were having against Ginyu was the fact that he was in Goku's body which they did not want to harm.
Good video and your points solid leading me to side with you. Some people might bring up Goku having more senzu beans to use but Frieza is smart enough to either take them or destroy them like he did Dende. Most of Dbz is layed out in a way that things can't be changed without causing big problems.

Krillin was able to cut off Frieza's tail in second form with a Kienzan, so he should be able to cut Frieza in half in his first form if he could catch him by surprise with an extremely powerful Kienzan.
