I’m currently $455 away from my first PC, and have been watching PC Centric for the last month to know almost everything about how to build a PC and more. Edit: Guys, I did it.
I went with a Montech Air 100 ARGB (still waiting for the rest of my parts) but these guys make incredible budget cases. For $60, it has a tempered glass hinged side panel, 4 ARGB fans, an ARGB hub with room for 2 more fan connections, and plenty of room for cable management. This case looks incredible as well!
I bought mine last year and the case is good for the price. However, my ARGB hub is dead after about 10 months. The ARGB fans were lighting up normally but last week, all of it suddenly stop working. The fans are still spinning but there is no lights. 99% sure the hub is dead.
@@shakk85The Air 100 doesn’t have the Molex connector fans, fortunately-they’re 3 pin DC fans, and they haven’t seemed too loud in my experience so far.
@@theitechlab I used the Montech Air 100 ARGB in black to case swap an old HP office pc that uses mATX board. . For the price you get alot. I added a simple sata powered 2 speed 7 dollar fan hub , added a couple plain 120mm fans on the top. 8 fan 3 pin 2 speed manual switch fan hub really helped to slow all the fans down. It is fairly quiet now. It is loud with fans at full speed and not needed. I located the fan hub to easily reach the switch on top of the drive caddy I mounted it to in the basement, swing open the door and switch is accessible. I was worried the Zalman CNPS9X Performa ARGB CPU Air Cooler Fan I got was going to hit the glass door, but this is a pretty deep case and no problems. I like it even more no power supply window in basement , can run the most hated psu incognito :)
I have a montech air 903 and it was such a breeze to build in. Would definitely recommend , best value for your buck! The sky two looks infinitely so much better! If someone ask me what is airflow? I would show them a picture of a montech case.
I agree, this GX variant looks way better than OG sky two in my opinion. I’m actually thinking about upgrading my brother to it. Aside from that airflow in these are great, works even better with good air coolers.
Do you think you'll make a video on the Thermaltake Tower 300? I know its pretty niche but it's a recently released case and its honestly beautiful (and has project zero support which would make for a really cool build video)
If Montech made a version of the Sky Two or the King 95 for Micro-ATX, I would have one. The Air 100 and Air 903 are also high on my list, Montech is doing good stuff lately.
im gonna probably grab the 4070 super version of this gpu soon its gonna fit like a glove in my Thermaltake medium case and plenty enough since im still running 1080p.
Totally should do a antec c8 or c5 build. I haven’t seen a good one and your really the only one I watch for pc builds. They both look great and for under 90 bucks for either there a bargain. Would love to see a build in either of them
The only gripe I have with Montech is the front IO is always on the left, but when front facing is on the right of the case. I'm currently using Montech Air 903 case. It's my dedicated Windows 11 Gaming PC with ASUS B550 -F Motherboard, 32GB of Corsair Made for Ryzen CPU's Ram. Ryzen 7 5700x eight cores sixteen threads, NVIDIA 3060 12GB model from MSI, 1000 Watt power supply. The case is white the non RGB version, as I hate RGB makes me wanna shout WHY? I can play all the latest games in 1440 without any gripes. My main build is inside LIAN LI Lancool 216 non RGB with the front IO moved to the front right side, but when facing you is on the bottom left side. Same specs as my gaming rig inside it, running Linux Mint Xfce on a 2TB M.2 drive with 2TB M.2 for storage. I do my video editing on it. Able to render Video in no time at all, it is just the editing that takes up the time, where as before it was the rendering.
@pccentric I was thinking about doing this build, but with a ryzen 7 7700x, zotac rtx 4060 ti, and Asus rog strix b650e-f. I'm shooting for 1440 gaming, but want some future proofing for a rtx 4070 ti super and 7800 x3d down the road. I have 3 questions though. Will that board fit in this case? Will the cooler fit the board/cpu combo? Is a 750 w psu a good choice for the upgrade down the road, or should I do 850 w?
Hi, really like this setup, but the ZOTAC RTX is out of my price range, gunna be editing photos mainly and a bit of gaming. Have already reordered this case as l like it. Any help appreciated xx
I noticed that most off your builds lately contain the super cards can you please do a build with the 7900 gre please amd fan boy here😂😂 love montech cases tho
Hi i am about to build a pc my budget is 800$ so can you rate my pc Rx6600( ausu model ) ' 12100F ' 512gb ssd ' 8gb ram two stick ddr4 ' b760 ' motherboard that all come in 650$ and if we include monitor mouse keyboard headphone that will be 800$ I live in India so the prices will be a little higher do you think it's a good build? For 1080p only gaming
They’re biting off MSI and it stands for Gaming X. In truth I have no idea, but the above sounded good in my head when I made it up. We’re going with that. 😂
Hey PC Centric! I've been thinking a lot about building my first PC - it's not my first ever PC, been playing now for 6 years ish. I've watched quite a few of your PC-build videoes and many other TH-camrs too. I just can't quite figure out which parts to get, which is why I'm writing this comment. I have a pricepoint of $1500-2000. I play games such as GTA V, RDR2, CS:GO, Hogwarts Legacy, Fortnite, WOW, and a few others too. My only "demand", if you could call it that, is that the motherboard has a wireless wifi option. I hope you, or someone in the comments, can come with some suggestions about what parts to get. The main use of the PC will be gaming - I know I could just buy a prebuild PC, but I'd like to try to build my own. Would love to hear from you!

Pure Power 12 M 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply be quiet! Case Fans: Thermalright TL-C12C-S X3 66.17 CFM 120 mm Fans 3-Pack This will total to around $812-$825

Awesome man! I'm a couple months from starting myself!
Montech is literally the budget king for pc chassis right now
Antec is also good option.i really like their constellation series
No, it isn't.

Too bad at that price i got Deepcool CH560 Digital which is way better and cheaper and also came with 4x fan argb just like Montech.

I would ditch the montech fans and buy some decent case fans.
The montech fans are noisy, usually use molex connectors and are poor quality/design.

Thanks for the video, case looks clean and no nonsense. I do like the hinged side panel, makes it a lot easier to clean I think.

Will ryzen 5 pro 3400ge and 5pro 3400g work with the same motherboard? (MSI B350 TOMAHAWK) I want to build a new budget pc. I need your answer please
Politely and patiently still waiting for the video where you include/review Thermaltake swafan ex fans (comparing to Corsair/lian li linked fans)
I made a build in this case and I love it so much, only thing that sucks is that it sucks in a lot of dust
But that’s normal on mesh cases

Does the case require an exhaust fan in the back like other pc cases have?
89 dollars 3 argb 140mm fans and a hub? AND big enough to fit a 4090 cards?? That's really good
I'll prefer budget chasis and put high end gpu, cpu, motherboard etc.
Everything you wear looks so good on you, love the blue, do you have a nice green for the next video? 😍
