I added a Dynamic back rest to my GS. My wife really likes it. And I get to postpone the top box a little longer. :)

Great approach and consideration to riding with a pillion, this attitude usually comes from experience of both bikes and partners 😂. Great to see your updates. I’m polishing the preparation for my 5000 mile round trip from the UK to Eastern Europe via the Alps, any tips on filming the journey please let me know as I aim to capture as much as I can…. However I need to consider covering around 500 miles a day so not much time to set up cameras 😂

How many cameras do you plan on running? During my trips last year, the challenge is taking about 6--8 hours of footage (daily) and condensing it down into 3-5 minutes of something that is remotely watchable. Granted my channel is still growing and this is truly my second season but I never understood why folks upload 30 to 40 minute videos (unless it's true movie production stuff). Also, batteries...have a plan to charge and cycle through batteries. I run a USB to my tank bag and always have two batteries charging even though I have 6. Lastly if you think you can ride a bit with your camera off, do NOT do it. Always on! Last year my camera died and I was like no big deal I'll swap batteries out in about 15 minutes. No shit...at that time we were on the trail and a HUGE moose trotted alongside us, slowly crossed the road about 20 yards in front of us. My buddy was like you got that on film right? Me: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooo. Good luck on your trip, I have several planned this season.

@@MotoBeemer I was going to use a few GoPro’s and my phone recording audio from my intercom and rider shots. I was wondering how to get a days worth of riding onto a memory card and was assuming I will need to swap them out every 3or4 hours during a piss stop 😂. I think I have got around the battery issue as I will test her the cameras to the bike on constant charge as long as it’s not raining too hard.

@@pegsgripsandgrins You can get an entire day on one memory card no problem. Overlaying separate audio tracks from your phone takes more work, but is also an option and is great. Let me know so I can follow along!

Question: You stated you lowered the seat to MIN setting. Haven’t ridden with wife yet, put with two up, wouldn’t there not be a need to lower the seat height position with the extra weight? Doesn’t that make the bike sit lower? Nice vid!

6-2" and 4-8" on our GSA. We've done these mods. Passenger comfort is so import with a pillion! Subscribed! Also, what camera and mic are you using?
