This video takes me back to one of my favorite memories with John at the lula's kitchen. He was trying to decide the length of his po boy sandwiches, and asked me to cut him a 6 inch loaf of bread. I measured, then cut said bread and brought it to him. He looked down at it and asked "so this is 6 inches? I'll be right back I have to call my wife." 🤣🤣

Most people have Italian and Mexican and such. I'm in to the all the odd stuff. Uzbekistan, Moroccan, Peruvian, Ghanan, etc. Food from most countries now. This Finland soup is my next! I love Nordic foods! TY for this recipe!

If you could share your recipe for the white barbecue sauce that used to be on your smoker chicken, I would celebrate.

It’s in the upcoming cookbook and I’ll do a video for you. We’ve done whole turkey at thanksgiving with it and the family said “ never do turkey any other way!” Thank you!

Do you use the green part of leeks for anything?

Another super recipe I will try to duplicate. You are working on a cookbook? Good, I'll buy it. Why don't you cook at one of these "pop up" places some day if you aren't into running a restaurant again? Went to one in Hazel Park called Frame -- everybody has to prepay, so you won't get stiffed.

Cookbook is at the publisher! I did a guest chef event at Frame, had a ball! Went there 2 weeks ago, they are doing a great job!
