Best to start at medium and go from there. All hair is different. Just don't get the hair dryer to close to your hair if it is hot as that will injure it. Grab Protect too if you use hot air.
I have a problem with the hair gel seeping down on my forehead. Every product I used does this. Does everyone have this problem. I don’t see other guys walking around with a shiny forehead.

Is there a clay or other type that won't make my forehead produce oil just because of the product? WIthout product my forehead is nowhere near as oily and nasty as with it. Thanks
Maybe look for water-based/soluble products. Also, take a look at some oil control lotions for your forehead. They will help a lot. Sounds like since it is every product for you, just might have some oily skin.

@@moleculez6133 Control is gread for dandruff and itch. Hydrate is good for dry hair and daily shampoo. Clean and Bold are good daily shampoos for general hair. If you're not sure what to grab, you can get the core four kit which has putty, clay, travel salt and paste in there. Putty & Salt is usually our go-to for most guys.
Ordered the Putty and i’m kind of disappointed to be honest. The product is very hard to get out of the container and it crumbled and forms into little white balls when trying to rub it through your hands. Any suggestions?
Yea the product is hard but many high hold products are like that too. I would say, to emulsify it completely haha, I've been using for a year already and I gotta say that I do like it a lot. The hold is good and just the right amount of shine. And like I said, emulsify more, let it disappear (it gets kinda warm) and then apply... I just bought another two 4oz jars like 3 weeks ago.

if you want to use the blow dryer with pomade, go for a volumized slick back.

I’m switching back to the clay from the putty. The clay is more pliable/creamy out of the box and with a side part I don’t need the high hold.

If you want more volume you should grab VOLUME Shampoo, Salt Sea Spray, and use Clay for fine hair. Bueno!
