I spoke to Karl a week or so ago in regards to becoming an entrepreneur in the healthcare industry. It was a 15-minute (free) call and the guy gave me a wealth of priceless information. He even went over the time. Good guy who provides great information. Thanks Karl ✊🏾

Hopefully you end up better than me when you grow up. That's my goal! How old are you and whats your plan?

He didn't talk about the biggest cost of commercial insurance and workers' compensation insurance, umbrella coverage, etc.

You're right I didn't mention insurance in this video but in other videos covering how to start etc. The startup cost are still the same. Insurance costs are consistent with staff size and payroll amount. As a startup the insurance cost will be contained within that 5k price point all depending on how efficient you are at handling other aspects of the startup process.

Thank you for posting these videos. Due to health reasons (can no longer drive due to fainting spells) I'm having to rebuild my life and career. Thanks to my SIL I learned about travel nurse staffing which led me on the journey to here. After 25 years in retail events and expositions, I'm getting excited about staffing.

    Great information Karl.
I’d like to know which states require a license.
I’m planning on registering an llc in California and then enroll for the program

Thanks for reaching out, California does not have a staffing license.

      Advice:
I have a client that runs a home care business for the elderly and they need a medical doctor to supervise a nurse practitioner that will be tending to the elderly.
The client wants an on call medical doctor and an on-call nurse practitioner along with an on call medical advisor.
Since they won't be working full time, how do I set up their payment arrangement? Or their salary?
How should I charge the client? It's not a direct hire. The client wants me to have them on my payroll or can I do a 1099? We do have a payroll department that will take care of the back office work but they will take a percentage.

I live in Connecticut, you do need a license for a nursing agency.
If I do plan to do everything as a 1 person team, I would need to rent an office space because my state requires a nursing agency license?
