I get the feeling Wolverine saw some shit on the other side and just decided to tell Jen to focus on life and being herself. He's definitively hiding shit, but thinks that shit simply isn't worth thinking about. Which is very Logan.

i have a feeling that if i was to be killed and brought back to life, the fear of death would absolutely vanish from my mind, kinda like how in dragonball death doesnt have any consequences anymore, because the 5 strongest can erase galaxies and rival the gods, (Buu, Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta, Goku) any if you're ever killed you can count on atleast one of them to bring you back with one of the 4 sets of dragonballs.
except if i died i would already know whats on the other side, so there goes the fear of the unknown, and because i couldnt do anything about not dying again, i wouldnt have a reason to worry anymore, in fact, life would be that much greater because now i'd have a better reason to live it to the fullest.

I’ve thought the same thing. It’s been confirmed multiple times that in Marvel (and in DBZ) that the afterlife…. is a thing. So yeah the fear of the unknown is gone like you said. While I really love your live life to the fullest take on it, a kinda sad to think about thing that I’m reminded of is there is a movie on Netflix or something where some scientist was able to “scientifically prove” the existence of an afterlife, and afterwards the number of suicides in the world skyrocketed. Implying that fear of the unknown was the only thing stopping many people. I guess the point is confirmation of an afterlife would definitely change how people live, and it isn’t really shown much in Marvel honestly

@@punishercastle5487 Honestly, what i think about the suicide thing is that at that point living your life would become a small community thing, like playing a video game or kindergarten, an experience that can only be experienced once, then my stance would remain the same, Live life to the fullest, because you only get one chance, a guaranteed afterlife is something you know you'll get, and you SHOULD live like your afterlife depends on it. (if that movie or show actually says that Heaven and Hell are real you definetly should live life as a good person no matter what because you most likely dont want an eternity of torture.)

Traumatic events have an impact on the mind and spirit. Going through something like that is going to affect you in ways that can range from the subtle to the substantial, but the trajectory of your life is forever altered by such tragedies.
Whether those changes are for good or ill is ultimately a question that only you can answer, but change is an essential element of growth.

When I was 9mo, I had Staphylococcal Scalded Skin Syndrome. This was between 91' and 92', so things were different back then.
For those that don't know, SSSS is a flesh eating/peeling/dissolving condition, I don't really know how to describe it since I have heard it called multiple terms.
Anyway, my skin was coming off of me severely. My mother informed me, she would put a soaking wet wash cloth to my body, and the water running down my back would take my skin off with it.
Well, the day the doctors told my family I was passed the point of no return, and that I wouldn't make the night.. my family came in the next day to me, already 2/3s on my way to a full recovery.
Only markings I have from it is discoloration in the shape of a 6 or 9 depending what angle you look from.

You can't store a memory in your computer when it's switched off.
Even if your conscious experience does "something" or goes "somewhere", you won't remember it when you come back, because memory is a product of your brain.
You probably just appeared again instantly to whenever your brain booted back up -- with your eyes closed on a hospital bed.

    • @DockClock-rp2ro
      @DockClock-rp2ro 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@rattlestormrepublic4874 No, a dream is your brain still being active.
The things people see when they are dying, are usually a result of oxygen deprivation.
      Similar to hallucinogenic drugs.
If you see anything, this is what it is.
It's hard for the brain to store thar information properly.
It's not used to it, and memories are distorted each time we recall them.
When you are actually dead-dead, there's nothing to process.
      The brain isn't functioning.
It's more like being under anesthetic.
      Your brain is completely off.
There's also a small period during sleep where your brain essentially simulates death for 20-minutes.
You don't experience it -- you just appear where your brain has more activity again.
There's ideas floating around that when you die, it's just drawn out forever.
You just experience perpetual hallucination, because time isn't processed the same way.
This is because you technically can't experience "unconsciousness" because you're not there to do so.
You can only exist consciously in some form.
So if you are never going to become conscious again, you just experience your last moments forever -- like falling into a black hole.
Another idea is that you just appear wherever you are conscious again -- however that could happen.
Maybe they simulate every type of brain in a computer 300 years into the future, so you just appear there.

What I don't get is why authors keeps treating the coming back part like it's the traumatic event rather than the dying part that's traumatic... It just comes across as really weird and completely void of any understanding. I've met people who've died and come back. It's not being dead, nor coming back that's traumatizing. Usually it's the dying part that's traumatic.

Interesting but why is she talking to Logan about this? Yes he revived too but this theme was strongly dealt with for all gamma mutates in the Immortal Hulk with the whole Green Door concept. Jennifer was more closed off, reserved and quiet, while She-Hulk was loud, sexual and outgoing. They preferred to stay as "themselves" but recognized when the other was needed. They were basically what Hulk & Bruce could've been if the 2 sides would just get along and work together. But it seems like Marvel just... forgot? And used Jennifer less and less, leading to this run, where She-Hulk was buffed and made dumb so they could have an excuse to separate them again.
