bro the ninja 300 already comes with a helmet lock area under the seat. you just slip the D rings into the slot and then re-install your seat. since you need the key to remove the seat, a thief cannot take your helmet.
What’s wrong with the under-seat helmet hooks built into the bike? The seat locks down over the helmet hooks securing them with the same key you already have. You just slip one of the D-rings over the hook and hang the helmet off to the side when you secure the seat.
@@Lannamann Must be the race bike heritage where the frame hooks are just extra weight. :( The Ninja 300 in this video definitely has under-seat helmet hooks though, which is what prompted my question. For bikes with no helmet lock I’ve seen kits to add one to the license plate frame or the passenger footpeg which might work with yours. Of course, they wouldn’t be keyed to the same key as the bike like they would for a factory helmet lock.
@@emmettturner9452 it’s a shame, I think the old ZX6R’s had them too… going to get a net. Only $10, should put the helmet in a better position for riding, and be more versatile as well. Safe riding!

Yeah! I actually found out about that after I made the video. Haha. Thanks for the comment.

Anyone got a knife 🔪 😂
Scissors work just fine 😂😂
I'm more worried about people putting stuff *IN* the helmet as they walk by - jealous of your awesome bike...
