    The judges should have been other simmers not these employees from the business world.

      Yeah, I'm sad there isn't anyone really representing the longstanding community.

    im happy for the people who get recognized by EA since i watch like 3 people in it however this is totally unnecesary and a waste of time. we give more ideas than EA could ever think of and they ignore us more than ever. TS4 is not fun without expansions, mods or cc (mostly without the last two) and even with that it's still boring. soon a new game called paralives will drop (hope it's this year) and i'm totally moving to that since they even ask what we want and they do it while EA won't even ask or listen to the ideas. hope that at some point they stop thinking about getting money and worry about the reason that they are winning it
    edit: also, a competition? for the sims? i mean i get if games like idk fornite or all of that have competitions but TS? a life simulation game? like literally how would someone be excited about that lmaoo

      Yes!! I think it’s pretty clear that this is a concept coming from EA higher ups and not even necessarily the Sims team. But the marketing (and this show is definitely marketing) has been so off from the fanbase for a long time now. My impression on paralives though is that they’re still a few years out unless they rapidly get a larger team which doesn’t seem to be the case. But I’m excited for EA to have a competitor to keep them on their toes.

      Vanilla Sims 4 absolutely is fun without mods. Mods enhance it of course, but let’s not pretend that the Sims 4 is in any way bad or boring. It’s not. It’s arguably the best game in the series.

      @@SeekersLegacy well maybe to you but there´s a big amount of people that play past games since TS4 has a really bad gameplay. and best game? TS2 and 3 exist lol (mainly 2)

      SeekersLegacy Maybe for you, which can be respected. But I, and many others, feel the same way about TS2 and TS3 which I’ve always had more fun with. TS4 always feels stale to me and packs feel incomplete, and EA seems to care more about advertising it than improving it. That’s why I cannot say it is the best game, especially with so many downgrades.

    I'm right now studying art in college so I have an idea of what the contests feel. I agree is worth watching and all the youtubers I thought did amazing and all made interesting approaches to the challenges. however i thought that the show has a little "airbrush" feel. and i wasnt impressed our the judges on how they did give back the feedback from my own collage and art program experiences so far.
    Also anyone else feeling like this whole "Spark'd" thing has a feeling like its a test for the sims 5 maybe? if the haven't been listening was "rumours" of if there's to be a sims 5 and what they are saying that the maxis want's to make the sims into more like GTA or a partly multi-player game. well here's your intro...
    btw I like your channel seems cool.

      Thank you!! I went to art school so I definitely see this show through that lens. I don’t know whether the judges just aren’t used to critique or if more interesting comments just didn’t make the cut! I hope the judges feedback improves the next episode.

      @@ScrunchieSims Especially Daves if THE or one of the guys who are ahead of the developing of sims. It really does makes you think if things just maxis ways operate in real life or it is just the "staged". compared to AGT /"Simon Cowell", where there's a more authentic down to earth approach. To me personally, the judging was unamusing or not very modest. it has a "DISNEYness." Like it's human to fuck up...

      @@ScrunchieSims also if you have ever had to give presentations or group work, or finals that have just gone wrong, it is awful... and the sad truth is that you really don't know those TH-camrs. if they have a learning disability or mental illnesses. Hopely it is a nicer environment.

    Keley's surname is pronounced as Im-Peach-i-Kay, I believe? I really love Plumbella and English Simmer so I am interested to see this. I have no idea how the challenges will work, and I share your concerns re: CAS, but I'll definitely take a look once it's available on Buzzfeed.

      Thank you! I watched a video of hers later and realized my mistake (or really, google’s mistake?). I do have to say I’m looking forward to seeing my favorite creators in a different setting.

    I think that the show is a kinda cool concept...But It just like doesn't all connect the dots...if you understand what I mean🤣🤣🤣

    • @ScrunchieSims
      @ScrunchieSims  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      "doesn't connect all the dots" is definitely a good way to describe it! I'm hoping it's just be bad advertising and the show itself will make more sense
