Absolutely gorgeous, I’ve never heard this instrument played so emotionally and so tenderly, absolute organ management brilliance. Wonderful use of the pedal 32’s at the climax, then diminishing to a heart felt closure again with the 32’ Bourdon under the Vox ensemble. Registration genius at it’s finest, Dave is without doubt the most musical of all living theatre organists, when technique, musicianship and the control of a large organ combine, something special happens, musical ecstasy. It helps the organist to identify certain types of instruments quickly, something they need to do when calling for changes on the fly.
