What a brilliant performance! Particularly blown away from around 9:53, one man playing The Entertainer on the piano and accompanying with an orchestra at the same time. That is talented!
Terrific as usual. See you at Blackwood 2022. Thanks again for the concert celebrating the wonderful life of my wife. No one could have done it like you did.
This brings back memories 30, maybe 40 years ago to a Pipe Organ Pizza. The pizza was horrible, but the organist was superb. It was a huge pipe-electronic organ behind a glass well, rather large and rather tall. Used to go almost every Friday and Saturday nights. Like so many awesome things years ago, it too died in the midst of the times that we are experiencing today.
This is my families organ. Specifically, this is my cousin Paul's project. One of the great people who plays this organ (and does incalculable amounts of work on this organ) is Zach Frame. Zach is the organist at Organ Piper Pizza here in the Milwaukee area. This pipe organ pizza place hasn't gone out of business, and they actually have good pizza in addition to a superior organist! Here is a link to their website in case you'd like to make a trip there (which I recommend). www.organpiperpizza.com/
There’s also Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa, AZ. Pizza is what it is, but the organ is a very large Wurlitzer made up of several other organs and has been expanded over the years. I feel like the title of the largest is always up for debate, so I’ll just say that OSP has a 4 manual, 80 something rank, 6,000+ pipe, organ. Almost the entire organ is visible as are the tremulants below.
@@scottmusic242just want to say how fabulous these recordings are-especially listening thru a headset or headphones. I feel like I’m in Franklin! The music is surrounding me and the complexities of The accompaniment and countermelodies are so clear and enjoyed. Thank you!
There are lots of things that are impossible to do. Miking that setup for total recording authenticity would come close to being one of them. Nevertheless, this is a magnificent performance.
Grew up watching Dave at Organ Piper Pizza 30 years ago - was amazing even then!

16:50 I absolutely love the registrations thru this section! So wholesome, warm, and happy!!
The marvelous and beautiful only a Wurlitzer Theater organ could create. Thank you Carma Lab.

I can hear Kate Smith singing God Bless America from years ago. Thank You.
Someone asks me, what is it with your infatuation with theater pipe organs?
Me: oh, you know, 10:14 and chit like that 😅❤😊
Wonderful... and may you always have good 'carma'...lol! Couldn't help myself!🤣🤣🤣
How can I find out when the next public concert is?
So talented! It would be cool if he could play songs from Super Mario Brothers. That would be so cool if he could!
Nathan im and then you soon come
