    This is so gorgeous. Absolutely love Shadow Violet, Moonglow and even Jane's Gray. Oooooo, and all those new Super Granulating from Schmincke would work as well. Does the rough make the separation more noticeable than cold or hot press? I can't wait to paint this, thank you.

    • @KarenRiceArt
      @KarenRiceArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you!! Yes the rough paper does accentuate the granulation.

    Each time I watch one of your videos I have to wonder what your pencil sharpener looks like! Do you use some industrial strength sharpened? From twigs to paintbrushes you literally sharpen everything! How!? LOL

  • @michaelsutherland4656

    AMAZING you make it look too easy (sure it's not) but you've inspired my to want to take it up again. I'am a bit OCD so wouldn't know when to stop (don't know how you do it) haven't done watercolour since A level art at school 1986🎨🤫

    • @KarenRiceArt
      @KarenRiceArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's wonderful Michael, so pleased that this video has inspired you to paint! Stopping is one of the hardest thing to do in watercolour, but just say to yourself "Less is more!" and walk away! :)

    Are all those colors, seen on your pallet just from the one shade of DS??😊

    • @KarenRiceArt
      @KarenRiceArt  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mary, thank you for your question. I can confirm that all of these shades are from DS Shadow Violet. A beautiful colour that separates and gives you dark cool greys and softer pinker greys. Hope this was helpful 😀
