After about a year of casual search my local store has begun to have this available pretty often. I've heard mostly really good opinions, some not so good. I have to say that I love it. I paid $45, which seems like a pretty fair price, given our current state of inflation. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and buy another bottle asap
I Was able to get my hands on a 750ml bottle and a 375ml for msrp! And in the state of VA which is hard to get so I’m about to go enjoy the 375ml bottle tn😁
Just ordered 2 bottles for $60 a piece. Wont pay higher than that, but itll be my first time owning a bottle. Im super pumped! Also snagged a bottle of the new traveller whiskey, 2 bonded rye jacks, and a single barrel barrel proof rye jack. Im a happy camper!
I think it's ok . For me even at the correct price point of 35 , it's kind of thin . I do think that there can be some nice flavors there . They just do not last . There are a handful of under 40 I would take over this . Cheers Todd🥃

Very disappointed. Very boring from the front all the way to the finish if there even was one. Dont be fooled by rarity. Jus cuz it's hard to find doesn't mean anything. I'd have rather bought a 12 dollar plastic bottle of Kentucky deluxe

@@2TEN90 I tried a lot of different types of whiskeys like rye malt, 100% rye, 100% oat, 100% millet, finished in different woods and double or tripled triple aged in casks, 100% wheat, 100% triticale, heavy peated, and as much as 63% alcohol. I have tried over 7 bourbons but they all tasted the exact same to me, unless it was finished in something.
It’s a good bourbon to drink, but that’s about it, nothing special. To me it smells like a cherry bomb very sweet smelling, the palate I get oak and cherry…. I don’t know it’s a good bourbon if you like sweet ones, but it’s kinda just that, a sweet not overly complex bourbon

Oh man, I was testing my eagle rare last night and was wondering if it was not good. I love how you began the review with best 90 proof whiskey. I was comparing it to high proof favorites of mine. If you take it for what it is, a low proof $35 whiskey, then it is good. Otherwise. No. Better things out there.

You can’t get a bottle for MSRP ANYWHERE in Louisville ky. Bourbon capital of the world and our whole market is overpriced. I went into a liquor store and they were selling buffalo trace for 45 dollars!

Just tried a poor at a restaurant for $13, I was shocked that they had it cheaper than OGD 114😂, I’ll definitely be on the lookout for it anywhere close to MSRP from now on
Love it. First time I found it I was BRAND new to bourbon. Tried it with a buddy. Loved it. 2 years later and I STILL have not found it again locally. So frustrating. If I find it again I’ll buy multiple for sure. To date it’s my second favorite behind Russell’s 10

Short answer is no...there isn't. Especially when you find it under $40. Recently picked up 6 bottles at a supermarket in CA for $32.95 each. Pour it freely for friends when they come over and they love it.

I haven’t tried mines yet. I will when I get it back up, but I’m sure it’s like Weller when I first tried Weller. Everyone told me it was trash, but it’s honestly easy sip whiskey. Probably one of my top 10 favorite whiskeys.

@@2TEN90 that's the really strange thing about ER in particular. It's allocated but also generally just set out on a shelf with an occasional purchase limit. The supply sucks but it's not coveted as much as other BT allocations so I always see people either with a dragon hoard of ER or none at all.
One of my first favorite bourbons. Luckily I can get for msrp fairly regularly. Store picks are probably my favorite low proofers. The 1.75 baseball bats are hilarious🥃🤘

@vpa0902 we have a few liquor stores here in MD that have it near msrp and then Total Wine also has it around $45-$50...sometimes. Most places however usually have it $99.

Delicious. But you hit it on point that it's a matter of price point. At $40 this is gold. At $50 it's fine. Above that it's over priced.
It's sad the only things keeping MWIII from being a great COD are eomm and the god awful spawn system which are both because of Activision and IW.

Tin cup 14 is the best low proof bottle.
I have a review of that bottle up and yes I agree. Amazing low proof high age statement whiskey for a reasonable price. Love that bottle.

Took me 6 months in arizona to find it so I got 2 bottles at 74$ each. It's amazing though and worth that price to me.
