Samsung need to fix couple of things like the software update and the exynos shit. Apart from this, Samsung is way ahead than apple interms of design and display ❤

@@JSLReview and @MrAndroidFHD I have the s9 plus. Spent almost 900$ after earning working part time while studying at college and now samsung announced no suffocate updates for my phone. I wish I had spent 100$ more back then and could get an apple or pixel just for the software support.

After having switched from iOS to Android I feel like Apple still retains an edge in the software department but is starting to fall behind in terms of hardware. Hopefully they catch up cause their ecosystem soon won’t be good enough of a feature to sway me back to Apple.

Phones are not just about displays or processing powers. There are so many little things that make a phone really good and usable: UFS storage, UWB used in the iPhone 11 and now in the newer Samsung phones, general esthetic, the new adaptive screen technology, software and so many more. Definitely the Note is a better phone overall.
But I hope the new iPhone 12 don't rely too heavily on processor power and forget about other things (this is the only reason the Note wins) because there is always more to a phone. More power is always welcome and it'll always get those power-hungry tasks done faster and smoother but just enough power and just a bit of other innovations will also get those task done and give you a bit more.

The finger print only seems slower because it shows you the animation when unlocking. If you turn it off in your security settings, it works way faster.

Yay mine was the 555th Like! Great comparison. Watching this on my Note 20 Ultra exynos. Both phones are neck to neck in many areas (I've owned the Pro Max too) but the Note does have the upper hand without the notch and the 120 htz refresh.

no idea what his was, but I can tell you on my 11 Pro Max after 8 months 1 week of use mine is reading 96%. And it does still feel like it. I can't feel any noticeable difference now from when I first bought it. Then again I would hope not after only 1 year of use. And I am the kind of person who plugs it in when I go to bed. Not every night mind you because unless I'm just watching video all day or something, this battery can last me 2 days before I feel the need to charge it. I actually did manage 3 days after I first bought it just as a test. I may not be your typical use case though since I don't do all the social media bullshit all day every day.

Impressive as it's sounds great video by the way.
apple should, upgrade in design as others do. is just feels like, waiting for your favorite program on tv only to find out it was a repeat it really tough unless is a show you loved so much u will still tune in to watch that rerun anyways. that's what apple users has felt all this year's even the latest leak of the 12pro is same design i compliment them for their stallar sharp razor video coming out of their phones it all has to do will the AI chip processor samsung is catching up if not matching it blow for blow but it serves as a welcome news to consumers and a wake up call to competitions.
Finally Samsung is far ahead in terms of spec sheets apple is still stuck with their stubborn presumptuous we know best philosophy the exynos chip set is where Samsung flaws comes in, the need more powerful and efficient chip set but truly no one combines tablets, phone, and pc into an excellent pocket communicator as Samsung do and if it comes to spending a thousand bucks and above on a phone the note is more compelling.
The note's sensor size and aperture is why you get the shallow depth of field on close up shots. Not a focusing issue.
If you're into the ecosystem, Apple wins. If you want a great stand-alone device, Note wins.

I'm an android user but I think the iPhone is just better in pretty much every way apart from display. Longer battery, far more consistent camera, the a13, and of course software.
iPhone 11 Pros win design for me - the last Samsung design I truly loved was the Note 7, RIP. It was all downhill from there imho. Uneven top and bottom bezels, hole punches and grotesque rear camera housings on the Note Ultras specifically- it ain’t it, son. You can talk it up all you want but that thing on the back is hideous. Pairing that with the late and very few software updates, lagging over time, fragmentation, app abandonment and instability within Android - the S-Pen just isn’t enough. I had every Note except the 5 since Note 2. I don’t care about 90-120Hz display on a phone just like I don’t care about 4K on a phone - my priorities lie elsewhere.
I think the value of iPhone is in length of software updates (5 years easy), support (including retail stores and a lot of free resources to access including Today at Apple), better resale value and, most importantly, the ecosystem. The more Apple devices and/or services you have the more you benefit from having an iPhone. I have an iPad Pro so switching to iPhone 11 Pro was a no brainier and I don’t miss Android one bit.

Have to disagree sir. The design and feel is superior on the N20U. I had both and so can speak from experience. If you're in the ecosystem, yes, it's hard to leave IOS for that reason.
I also had the Pixel 4 XL and the 120hz refresh rate on the Note 20 Ultra is pretty great.
The immersive screen is also intoxicating and almost catch myself amazed at the real estate of it , and the clarity of the picture when consuming media.
The S Pen can have or have not - but for the moments when you need it, you're glad it's there.
The camera module is ginormous, but I hardly notice it in day to day functions with the case on. Just more careful when putting phone down, but again, get a good case and you're set.
Also back to the design. The back is a fingerprint magnet - so what I did is ordered a Dbrand Skin and it looks pretty sick - covering the back as well as pieces of the camera bump.
I usually take the case off when at home and it's a sleek Momma. Definitely beats the form factor of the iPhone 11 Pro Max in my opinion.

It depends on how you use your phone. Since I watch a lot of videos in my phone, Note20U is an easy choice for me. That notch is a no-go.

I like both phones. The Note is gorgeous and has every feature you can ask on a smartphone, but my heart belongs to Apple and iOS, for me is a superior experience in general. But I would be happy with either one. I'm rocking my 3 yo. iPhone X and waiting for iPhone 12 to be announced tomorrow 😍.

I don't favor Samsung or Apple, I've had a Samsung and an iPhone and I switch it up here and there when I upgrade. I love both for the most part!
There is no doubt that the Note 20 Ultra is the best as I can literally compare iPhone 11 pro max to my S10+ as they are more equal to each other.
I was going to upgrade to the iPhone 12 pro max this year but from leaks etc, it just doesn't hold up with pro/flagship features and still a huge notch, no finger scanner, and more which are things that are a must for me after I got my S10+ :o Sadly seems like even the 12 pro max will be lacking this year but it is Apple so it's going to sell anyway.
Going to get that iPhone 13 pro next year though x) but this time around Samsung takes the W ^_^ Also love the Note 20 Ultras bronze design

I watched several videos and your video made it so that I will take the Samsung Note 20 Ultra Unlocked U.S. Version and delete from my cart. Samsung is doing very poorly in sales and I noticed as Amazon dropped it's pricing by $200 dollars. But today and tomorrow it looks like the price went down to $1,049.99 and still I don't want to buy it. It less than 5 hours from now, Apple will introdce the iPhone 12 line up and I know you didn't say anything about the 5G and that is okay because carriers are really not prepared to put out massive amounts of 5G at this time. Maybe in 10 months after the the IPhone 13 comes out and they will use their own screens, have a full refresh, body style sort of speak and 5G will have all the bugs worked out within the carriers and the phone makers as well. Here is the thing, when Apple announces the pricing which I have and the exact date that you can pre-order it and then have it shipped or go pick it up for the only one worth getting and that will be the iPhone 12 Pro Max with it's smaller notch and the pricing will be to the penny exactly what they are selling their iPhone 11 Pro Max since it has been released September of 2019. I have the Samsung Note 8 and I love it. It has the headphone jack, the heart rate sensor that is 100% correct and I like seeing my semi EKG on the phone as I know how to read it. Getting back to the iPhone 11 Pro Max that I just got 5 days ago so I can check it out only comes in 64GB from T-Mobile but they have this trade in program and if I trade in my iPhone 7 with 32GB that still works with no cracks, then they will give me $800.00 bill credit off of the $1,099 but also there is another program that I did qualify for and that was the port your number from another carrier and bring your own device and T-Mobile will send you a $250 Visa Card so that in total comes out to $1,050 so this phone that I just got less than a week ago could end up costing me a massive $49 dollars plus sales tax on the full $1,099. Yes this video convinced me to not return the iPhone 11 Pro Max and get the Samsung Note 20 Ultra because of the colors and the lag Samsung has when you press the shutter and it takes way too long to get pictures right away. And for those reasons that you pointed out, I have now made an informed decision to stay away from Samsung at this time. This is the last Note series Samsung will make anyways. The S21 will have a pen in the device and they will merge the phones together basically and will not have 2 phones coming out at 2 different dates as that really is not good for Samsung's bottom line as they are getting killed by Apple. They can be ahead of Apple, Google, SONY, LG and Nokia combined but their sales will never flourish like Apple as Samsung sucks at marketing, their presentations are God awful, they don't create ether for the consumer, they give away $200 to $250 of FREE accessories if you pre-order their phones. Have you seen Apple say here order ahead of time and we will give you a powerful charger, a headset or leather cases to make your iPhone be covered in the best way possible. NO and they NEVER will. Apple has for years had lines outside stores around the world and especially here in the States. Whether is was at an Apple store or Best Buy. I have never once seen a "Samsung" store and the kiosk that they do have inside of Best Buy is always, always empty and the most people is 3 to 5 people tops at any one given time. Perhaps this is why Apple has approx, $700+ BILLION dollars laying around and for the longest time I didn't understand how they made so much money but giving people FREE shit was not a way to make massive amounts of profits. It is almost 6am and I am staying up for this Apple event in about 4 hours. This is what Apple knows about people. They have exciting products and of course there are Apple haters and Apple super haters. I don't see it like that. I see Apple as Mercedes Benz and Samsung as BMW. Why people always pick sides even with the cars is something I don't get. I have an M3 and also a C class Mercedes. A lot of Android users hate that Apple is a control freak of a company and doesn't allow it's customers to move icons around the way they see fit and Samsung you can have nothing or just 1 icon and you can put what you want and put on each screen page the time and how many steps you took. Apple still kicks ass and takes names. Don't hate on me, I am just the messenger. Apple has a long way to catch up in many areas but look at how they grabbed the market and even I got sucked into eventually buying an iPad mini back in the day and the iPad AIr 2 and a 2012 iMac 27" that still works perfectly 8 years later. Their eco system is 2nd to none and they just do what they do and they know that they will not get every person out there to buy their products but man, they definitely got their head on straight and their bank accounts are probably the best in the industry. Finally and NOT A MOMENT TO SOON!!! I want to apologize to JSL and anyone else that thought why the hell did I write a half a book about all this. I am sorry, I just get pumped up when something I want is just about to be that much closer to reality. Please don't hate this book LOL. Seriously this video was very well made and I got inspired to write like a mad man. Apple ecosystem ftw!! Min 5 years updates and 8 years of using each product. My old iPhone 5s from 2013 is still being used, just changed the battery n that’s it ; Meanwhile my Samsung galaxy s7 was forgotten after 6 months and I’m afraid to turn it on cuz I’m sure it hasn’t been updated by crapdroid in years.

Yes. It's definitely night and day. Although N20U has the larger screen and form factor, it is much lighter and thinner. It's premium, and in a weird way , almost feels delicate - without feeling cheap. iPhone 11 Pro Max, was considerably bulkier and heavier in the hand. Which was good and bad I felt - sturdy yes, but also like a high-class brick. But the N20U feels more stylish and classy.
I would say camera on both is great. iPhone edges out in some things, N20U in others. So comes out a tie for me.
Then I also just felt like I was in IOS jail when using the Pro Max. It's just.....limiting. With the Note 20 Ultra, it feels like the sky's the limit in regards to what you can do with the phone. So it wins.

Why do people insist on making it sound like those in the ecosystem have guns to their heads? It’s really not that hard to leave, now if the functionality is valuable enough to your day-to-day workflow it gives you little reason to leave that’s an entirely different story. Coming from someone who switched from Android specifically for the ecosystem.
@@nmlx7710 Cause it's precisely like that. It's either you use apple's apps or you don't use anything. It's such a restrictive experience. The fact that you don't have the freedom to do what you want makes it such a subpar experience. I can't even emulate other platforms on Apple.
iphone can last 5 years or so ,it is stable unlike android you can have it 2 to 3 years and you'll notice some lagging and the performance will decrease .
The note is a clear winner Yes but I just feel like samsung is still behind cause of the software issues like the optimisation of camera softwares Is still lagging they should do something cause 😒

Here i am in u.k with my mystic black 865+ 256gb rom note 20 ultra watching in glorious 1440p. 7hrs 12 minutes of screen on time with 43% battery left....you poor exynos boys got a raw deal.😋

I always liked Android and think that they look much better. The one area that puts Android in second place for me is processing power. Apple always has a faster phone. Not only that but support for YEARS is a huge plus. So in my eyes every area but looks it goes to Apple. This is only my opinion though

I sold my note ultra 5g SD and went back to iphone 10 max. I’m and old user of note series but really tired from the software I don’t why they don’t improve it still old iPhone devices are faster and better in daily use.

The iPhone is like a dinosaur compared to the Note 20 Ultra. That huge notch at the top is a complete eye sore compared to the tiny punch hole on the Note. And that lack of storage is embarrassing compared to what the Note offers and u didn't even factor in that u can expand storage on the Note via the micro SD slot on top of the 128 gigs that come standard. Your completely stuck on an iPhone if u run out of storage. The 120hz refresh rate on the Note compared to the iPhone makes the iPhone feel like it's 10 years old in comparison. The Note charges 0-100% twice as fast as the iPhone and u forgot to mention that u can charge all ur wireless accessories on the back of the Note in cases of emergencies......
Note 20 Ultra for the win and it's not even that close.

apple is better because they don’t jam in loads of features that don’t work very well and give there phones a bad reputation. the only camera feature on the note 20 that is better than the 11 pro is space zoom apart from that the video is better on iphone and the photos look nicer and more consistently better. apples iphone 11 pro display actually supports 120hz but is not enabled. you can download an app on your pc/mac that’s free to enable 120hz. and on the display comparison the sky on the 4k video was blown out. overall the note 20 is 100% not worth £1300 for only 2 years of support and unreliable hardware and software. Apple don’t have as many features because they take there time to make sure it has no issues and its good enough to put in there phone to keep a good and reliable phone without giving themselves a bad reputation. when you get a phone from apple you know it’s going to work straight out the box with no issues and it will last a long time. fair play to samsung for making a good for but it’s clearly not as good as apples flagship phone and the 12 pro max will crush it.

Dan. fair enough but i just wanna say i have a 1+ 8 pro. i love apple a i believe they do a lot right and i like samsung for there passion for inavasion but they have a lot of issues and they try to hard. but i do use an android phone but i guess you could call me a fan boy since i have an ipad pro and macbook pro. i do respect samsung they just try to hard to realise loads of new features when the technology isn’t ready.

Refresh rate is not necessary (unnoticeable)
Note 20 is a big phone (uncomfortably big)

I think the refresh rate is notable bc my eyes don't see to much frames even if I use iOS it still feels like it misses slot of frames when I scroll

I'd always go for an android (OnePlus, Nokia, LG etc) but when comparing to the note 20 ultra exynos (that's what I can get) ..... The 11pro is awesome.

Iphone is better,each app is optimised to perfection unlike the mess on each android device, add the 5 years update you get on iphone all android phones with the 2 years updates start to look like pile of shit.
