Compare it with iPhone 12. I can wait for that. If the iPhone 12 gets the LiDAR scanner it'll be more fun to watch. Cause my 3 year old phone also have laser auto focus and it's really fast. It's nothing new like the LiDAR scanner.

It's much improved due to the f3.0 and probably better sensor choice for such a lens
Both look great, but the Note’s 20 ultras photo edge detection, video stabilization, 8k, super slow motion (960fps!) raw (without an app), and pro features appeal to me.
Julien Lindauer very often if you have children and you plan to watch better quality videos of them in 10 or 20 years.

My LG V50 has all that except 8K recording. Has manual mode one of the best camera phones it beat the Iphone 11 pro and Sony Experia see Juan Bagnells reviews.LG is hundreds less money too then all these phones
960fps isn't even true 960fps anymore, it's 480fps. Either way, it's just the most useless and horrible feature. It looks like it's recorded on some 2003 $15 camcorder

When you do the comparison of phones can you also add a real high camera for comparison. This could be useful to know what the real scene is supposed to look like.

I mean she does say that for her, the N20U offers the most for photographers around the 7:03 min mark 🤷🏻♂️
I definitely agree the N20U takes the cake here and this still pre release software, before the usual camera software updates Samsung pushes out to further enhance camera quality.
Photos look better overall, but video details are better on iPhone. The note ultra does have good stabilization on video though. Both great, with the edge going to the note 20 ultra.

That was a great review. Thank you. These days, I buy a phone really just for the camera and the S pen, other than that a $600 phone can do pretty much the same. I would like to ask when the IPhone 12 (Max?) comes out, may be you can do another camera shoot out between the Note 20 Ultra and the 12 and see which gets the title.

There's a yellow tint on the pictures from the iPhone. That's disappointing
@KolTony I agree the comparison makes the yellow tint more obvious but when I take a picture, I want it as colour accurate as possible. The warmer pictures from the iPhone just looks unrealistic.
Philip DW, many people have said that the color accuracy on iPhones is a little more accurate than other android phones.
truth seeker, all android phones in comparison from Huawei, Samsung, Oneplus, Xiaomi, Oppo, all seem from what I know to have slightly less accurate color representation compared to most iPhones. Even google pixel devices, are usually on one extreme of the range. But that doesn’t mean the iPhone takes better pictures compared to those phones. They all have something that they are particularly good at.

truth seeker, I agree that many people prefer bright, poppy colors but that also doesn’t mean that a photo that normally looks fine with saturation, over sharpening, and so on, will make the photo actually better.

For me, Samsung's rear camera is better but Apple's front camera is always the best. You can really see the distinction between the photo through its overall quality.

Hej Lexy very good review of the Note 20 Ultra furthermore, I think Cnet has very good reviews of various things. A comparison with Iphone 12 would be interesting to see but me prefer Android. Have a S10 Plus as a daily driver and very happy with that phone so far. Take care och ha en bra dag.

I just switched from the 11 Pro Max to the Note 20 Ultra after having been an iPhone user for 6 years. While I love the Note 20 Ultra, I do miss the camera and image processing from the iPhone. I just feel the samsung image is overexposed and I prefer the blue hues of the iPhone over the blues on the samsung. I find that shooting photos in night mode during the day helps with the overexposure on the Samsung.

I don't get the decision why Samsung stick with fixed aperture for this large sensor and not the one used in previous Galaxy phones (f1.8 and 2.4 perhaps?) in order to get rid of that annoying shallow depth of field.
It actually worked quite well. In my Note 9 it makes sense. You get sharper photos with the f2.4 in daylight and benefits of a f1.5 at night or darker indoors.

Technically speaking the note 20 is an older device let me explain Note lineup never released the note 6 they jump from the note 5 to the note 7 so in terms of releases iPhone have released more models than Note series models and still Note series surpass iPhones in many technological departments to this day.🤷♂️🙀

Is she shooting on a DSLR camera when she's talking? Because she mentioned her skin tone was not as pink as the note showed, and closer to the skin tone on the iPhone. Yet when you look at her talking on the DSLR camera, her skin tone is on the pink side like what the note showed. I'm so confused

I mean, this is a comparison of an older vs newer version, and most of the time, it’s just preference, since the iPhone produces more pictures that look realistic, and the Samsung ones that are a bit more colourful.

S20 plus ultra gives u a pinkish tone whereas iphone 11 pro max gives u a goldenish tone.ill probably have to go out in a store n check which one looks better on me. Rear camera of s20 is best.
