Compare it with iPhone 12. I can wait for that. If the iPhone 12 gets the LiDAR scanner it'll be more fun to watch. Cause my 3 year old phone also have laser auto focus and it's really fast. It's nothing new like the LiDAR scanner.
Both look great, but the Note’s 20 ultras photo edge detection, video stabilization, 8k, super slow motion (960fps!) raw (without an app), and pro features appeal to me.
My LG V50 has all that except 8K recording. Has manual mode one of the best camera phones it beat the Iphone 11 pro and Sony Experia see Juan Bagnells reviews.LG is hundreds less money too then all these phones
960fps isn't even true 960fps anymore, it's 480fps. Either way, it's just the most useless and horrible feature. It looks like it's recorded on some 2003 $15 camcorder

Photos look better overall, but video details are better on iPhone. The note ultra does have good stabilization on video though. Both great, with the edge going to the note 20 ultra.
For me, Samsung's rear camera is better but Apple's front camera is always the best. You can really see the distinction between the photo through its overall quality.

I just switched from the 11 Pro Max to the Note 20 Ultra after having been an iPhone user for 6 years. While I love the Note 20 Ultra, I do miss the camera and image processing from the iPhone. I just feel the samsung image is overexposed and I prefer the blue hues of the iPhone over the blues on the samsung. I find that shooting photos in night mode during the day helps with the overexposure on the Samsung.
@@jasajasa711 hmm, I'm from Romania, Europe. Unfortunately Exynos is all what we get..not fair at all..to pay the same amount money (like usa) and to get Exynos .
@KolTony I agree the comparison makes the yellow tint more obvious but when I take a picture, I want it as colour accurate as possible. The warmer pictures from the iPhone just looks unrealistic.
truth seeker, all android phones in comparison from Huawei, Samsung, Oneplus, Xiaomi, Oppo, all seem from what I know to have slightly less accurate color representation compared to most iPhones. Even google pixel devices, are usually on one extreme of the range. But that doesn’t mean the iPhone takes better pictures compared to those phones. They all have something that they are particularly good at. “Is that better”
truth seeker, I agree that many people prefer bright, poppy colors but that also doesn’t mean that a photo that normally looks fine with saturation, over sharpening, and so on, will make the photo actually better.
That's true. All we can really do is compare most recent to most recent though since they don't release phones at the same time. It's really just a cycle. The iPhone 12 will beat the s20, but the s21 will beat the iPhone 12, and so on, so forth
Is she shooting on a DSLR camera when she's talking? Because she mentioned her skin tone was not as pink as the note showed, and closer to the skin tone on the iPhone. Yet when you look at her talking on the DSLR camera, her skin tone is on the pink side like what the note showed. I'm so confused
I think an obvious thing a lot of people tend to miss is IPhone = better for people Samsung = better for environment IPhone typically always looks better for people and more accurate. The cooler over saturation of the Samsung generally results in people looking pink and odd but can normally look good for nature
You're mostly right, except the "oversaturation" is as much on the iphone as it is on Samsung nowadays. It's the iPhone's warmer tones or "orange tan" that gives skin that appealing look
So true, nowadays it comes down to pure preference on software since both are really similar but have different feature sets that appeal to completely different users.
When you do the comparison of phones can you also add a real high camera for comparison. This could be useful to know what the real scene is supposed to look like.

Hi Lexy and CNET, as reputable technology reviewers, please highlight the fact that Samsung is playing dirty and giving some of its markets the top of the line processors (snapdragon) and others in-house processors (Exynos) that are prone to battery issues. They are doing this because most of its reviewers or key markets are in the US, China, or Japan while the rest of the world will allow it to save millions by not paying Qualcomm for its latest and greatest processor and instead provide its own in-house processor that is prone to many issues. Please have such prominent disclaimers that highlight this.
