Aurora Colorado is one of the most frequently requested spots in all of Colorado and for good reason! It's HUGE!! Rather than a standard virtual tour that you know us for, we decided it would be a better idea to show you several of our favorite neighborhoods (like 15 of them) within Aurora!

We are close to buying a townhome close to this community. Renting out our LA condo to pay the rent in Aurora but will probably end up selling that condo and buying here. Love the area. Great video

I moved to the Saddle Rock Ridge neighborhood early 2021 and couldn't be happier. It's too bad I don't have kids, my house is walking distance to the Arapahoe Parks pool, elementary, middle, and high schools. Great place to start a family! Also love the short distance to Southlands and my favorite sports bar, The Rock.

I am further northwest of Utah Park, in Expo Park. I wouldn't choose to live anywhere else. The further south and east you go, the longer the commute. Let alone this West Central part of Aurora is one of the hottest areas in the neighborhood. Glad we got in the area when we did!

We are looking to move back to Colorado and originally looking in highlands ranch and Littleton but a lot of homes I’m loving are in Aurora so trying not to sleep on this city.

Seems like Aurora is obsessed with leaving Aurora. Seriously, it's too big. I feel like the old Aurora is slowly being neglected to build a bunch of boring homes and townhouses bunched together to create the most boring suburbia it can. But, hey, better than living near those poors! Lol

What do you think of the older homes in Aurora hills on the other side of 225? I love the tree lined streets, but that's just looking on Google street view. I don't really know anything about it.

I grew up in Aurora starting in 1962 in my parent's home just nw of 6th and I225. Aurora was a decent city back then. I owned a home just south of Buckley Space Force base too. Things have changed a lot. Personally, nowadays I would not buy any home north of Smoky Hill Rd and west of C470. In the 1970's Aurora went through a building boom where builders put up cheap quality housing with aluminum wiring and few trees and had the nickname, Saudi Aurora. The nicer areas are south of Smoky Hill Rd and E470 east and south but they are considerably more expensive. Old Aurora, west of Peoria and up just north and south of Colfax Ave has always been a not so great area of town, but that too has made its way down south.
Bottom line: Aurora Hills is decent, but value wise, it will appreciate much slower than the same thing in Littleton. Would I live in Aurora Hills? No. The only place I'd consider is the 80016 zip code, south of Southlands Mall. Those homes will appreciate nicely. Saddle Rock is nice, but it won't appreciate nearly as well as Tallyn's Reach area. Just my .02 from growing up in this neck of the woods.

Coming from Florida and Atlanta, I really miss trees. Were there trees in Aurora that were cut down or has it always been open prairie?

Well Hinkley got shot up, East Middle School had to implement uniforms in 2001 to curb gang violence, the 7-11 on Colfax and Sable gets robbed 5 times a week, someone shot off a switch for New Years, diversity has significantly decreased in the past 20 years, and no one knows that fireworks are illegal if they leave the ground.

this is by far the most boring, culture bereft, non-walkable area of Aurora. just pointless eastern expansions. Aurora the city is along 225
