    My advice is (unless you really have to or want to) just move further out. Example, Arvada, you can get to downtown in like 10 15 mins max and out to the mountains in 15 mins. You can get across denver extremely quickly compared to other spread out cities and there's no need to live by downtown because you can get there quickly regardless. If you live by the train you can go straight there.
    Why would you pay for half the space and twice the amount when you can move 15 mins away save money and have a bigger place

    Relocating from the East Coast for a job in Aurora… but not interested in living in Aurora. I would mainly like to rent something that is in a safe area not too far of a commute to work but modern. Do you have any recommendations for those who should like to rent?

      I had to move for a job in Aurora right before the pandemic hit. Lived in LoDO and the commute was surprisingly not so bad. If you like being near all the bars and sporting events, LoDo is the way to go!

    In the Mile high condos are way better than low level ground living. And more resources and amenities, like a 24 hour 7 eleven in the lobby, steak house (I'm vegan), pet store etc. Like downtown four seasons

    You will also have your fair amount of homeless people in downtown. No extra fees 😉🤣 anyways. We used to live in Cap Hill for. 2br/1ba, no balcony, no parking, 900 SF for $1900 a month after utilities and pet fee. We moved 30 minutes away for a 2br/2ba, 2 car port spots, an extra storage room outside, 970 SF for $1800 a month after utilities and pet fees. It’s easy to get to Denver from near towns (either bus, train, or with car) for the weekend if you don’t absolutely need to live there. Just a little info for those you might need it ✨ that said, Denver does have the most beautiful tudor houses I’ve seen 😫😫😫

      @@teehashtag4983 I live in the Littleton area now. Approximately 30 minutes from Denver. You might find cheaper apartments in Lakewood and Englewood. Those cities are approximately 15 minutes from Denver. Each city I will say has it’s sketchy area. I’ve only been in CO for 3 years so I’m still learning. Hope you find a good place! CO is VERY dog friendly so most apartment complexes will accept dogs and even have dog parks.

    • @legatus_newt
      @legatus_newt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@teehashtag4983 Glendale is still relatively affordable, technically an enclave (separate municipality) but completely surrounded by Denver neighborhoods. Obviously prices have gone way up in the last year but it is a bit cheaper than much of the rest of the city and situated right on the Cherry Creek trail which makes getting downtown by bike very easy. Many of the apartments in Glendale are older however and good luck with the quality, the city of Glendale does not hold these buildings to the same standards that Denver does.

      Danielle, I moved to Denver from San Antonio, Texas 18 years ago and it's the best move I've ever made. Fantastic weather (among the cities with the most days of sun in the country), low humidity, moderate temperatures overall. Many wonderful, scenic neighborhoods: I live in Capitol Hill near downtown Denver, and its collection of classic, beautiful buildings generated architectural tours that continue to this day. One of the most walkable neighborhoods in the metro area IHMO, but there are many other neighborhoods with other living perks. Denver is relatively expensive for rent or ownership, but in my view it's worth it for the combination of weather, beauty of the area (not even mentioning the Rocky Mountains), and things to do indoors and out. Perhaps visit for a weekend or two and see for yourself!

Not sure what neighborhood(s) that would encompass tho it took me by the capitol building. I found parts of Colfax Avenue to be sketchy and other parts more hip and vibrant. Certainly diverse.
