  • Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said inherent fault lines in Singapore's diverse society must be watched carefully and handled properly, even as the country recognises and accepts its differences. Speaking at the Internal Security Department's 75th anniversary, he added that the intelligence agency plays a key role in tackling such challenges. Mr Lee said ISD officers are the eyes and ears on the ground, keeping close watch on trends and nipping problems in the bud before they get out of hand. Jeraldine Yap reports.
