Add key fob, if you don't have already. Your Frontier is factory ready to program them. 4. Add locking tailgate that will function with your key fob. These are all things I've done to my 2019 that were very cheap upgrades.
My 4th Nissan truck, is a 2015 SV Crew Cab. I added the mudflaps, and the hood protector, swapped out the y pipe on the exhaust for a Magnaflow. Previously I had a 2005 KC NISMO, 6 spd, drove that one hard, for 255 thou kilometers. I Surf and Ski also, so my trucks are always exposed to road salt and sea salt. Keep up the good work.
Awesome truck! The push bar really adds to the look. You'll like the floor liners, and they will help keep your floor boards from rusting out with the snow/salt mix. Keep up the good work!!

Just an FYI the LED lights don't put off the heat halogen bulbs do so if you live somewhere where it freezes the your lights will ice over and it'll be like you have no lights on. Just to put that out there the light is great from them tell they freeze over and you have to use an ice scraper to get it off

I'm a proud owner of Nissan frontier Truck, 2017 Pro4X 4.0L V6 6 speed Manual transmission. For another mods and goodies, you might wanna get your frontier a Volant Cold Air Intake, Banks Monster Exhaust and a BullyDog GT programmer/tuner you're gonna love em' ❗ also you might wanna get your truck some Sumo Springs, it's a some kind of rubber material that helps your truck's suspension system especially when you're hauling heavy loads. Theres not alot out there and there needs to be more especially since the new look of 2022 and how awesome the previous gen was! So stuck am I on the previous gen that I went and got the 2020 Pro4x, so it's the awesome old style with the new class leading 310hp 281lb ft of torque 9 speed automatic. Glad I did it, it is a sweet ride, can climb virtually anything, and that 9 speed on the highway...ooh man a future Classic! As you can imagine Im well stoked. Used to be a full sized pickup fan till I got my 2014 Frontier. Midsize is alot more fun. The competition are all fine trucks with the Tacoma being the most popular. Ridgeline, Ranger, Colorado, Canyon, all great trucks, my respect, but the Nissan Frontier Pro4x is such a badass beauty with plenty to like. Gotta get one of your hoodies.
Dude thanks so much for the comment. And thank you!! I love the way my truck has turned out. Hopefully will put out some new designs soon! So happy i got the frontier over other midsizes honestly!
I have a 2018 PRO4X and I've done quite a few mods to it. I added a borla atak muffler for the loud sound I wanted and also added an exhaust tip to make it louder. I added the Boss Audio 10.1" screen which was a pain due to the people who installed it but i like it a lot. For my wheels, I didn't even powder coat them, all I did was get some rustoleum automotive matte spray and it works great, no chipping or fading. I also blacked out my logos and my grille but i plan on buying raptor liner and respraying my grille with that and respraying my wheels with it also. I had a local guy custom make me a offroad bumper which i like and its one of those tube bumpers you see on all the websites for frontiers. Everything i have blacked out on my truck, i have either plastidipped or used rustoleum spray. I will be using raptor liner when i get the time and money which is hopefully soon. I have AT's also but mine are Falken Wildpeak AT3W which i love with a passion and highly recommend them. I'm planning on getting a 4" lift from nisstec because i go offroad quite a bit and the lift isnt too much money.
MAXLINER Floor Mats 2 Row Liner Set Black for 2005-2021 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab, check these out. I have them and they are pretty nice, plus a lot cheaper than weathertech but pretty similar

Hi Ethan, Great job on the video. I am thinking about getting a frontier, not sure yet. I live near Oneonta, in Unadilla, and my oldest son attended Suny 12 years ago. Stay well, Jack
Hey Jack! That’s awesome that’s super close to me here at school! I definitely recommend choosing the frontier it really has a good truck feel to it in my opinion. Thanks for the comment!
Looking good. I picked up a 2013 Pro4x a year and half ago. I wanted the weather tech floor mats, i jus happen to ck letgo and a guy 5 mins from me had them for $45. Tires look great.
Good looking truck man! I'm on my 3rd 2nd gen frontier now. Had a 11 pro4x with lift kit from nisstec. Even with the lift I had a lot of trimming and melt mod I had to do for 285/75 duratracs.. just picked up a 2020. I don't do all the wheeling anymore. Glad I found your channel to see the stock size duras will still look good with a leveling kit.

Looks great bro! I did the exact same thing with my tail lights! You could always tint the windows and maybe give it a brow! I did it with my silver fronteir and I love the black and silver but it would look really good on your blacked out look! Ngl I may have to get a hoodie 🙃
@@EthanSilver I heard from someone on a forum saying that it works with any Nissan steering wheels as long as it’s not like 20 years old. Ofc you’ll need to do research but I haven’t seen anybody replace one without it being a shitty quick release and that doesn’t suit the truck either in my opinion. You could probably buy a new Nissan frontier 2022-2023 steering wheel for it and it’d work just fine with all the button functions
@@EthanSilver you just have a switch installed in the cab? I’m on some of the same frontier pages on Facebook and I see one guy selling the stalks also. Seemed like that is something I didn’t wanna touch …but if the fogs are direct plug and play I might do it also.
Is there any technical difference or difficulties depending on which mod you do 1st to your truck?... Is it better to do 1st the metal bumper and 2nd the lift kit? Or the reverse of that is better?
Great video Ethan, the more I look at your set up, I think I might bite the bullet on the readylift kit! Sits nice plus I have the same tires and wheels so I know itll look great🤙🏽
The 2 inch PRG lift kit with the 1.5" rear lift blocks are very nice too, get the energy suspension bump stops so there's no upper arm rubbing . I have this setup on mine and it has a slight .5 inch taller rake in the back. Had another 2018 P4X with 3 inch kit with 2 inch shackles at one time with 285/75/r16s and learned the hard way with no bump stops.
Nice mods. I own a 2018 and trust me those floor mats went in the day I got the truck. I like your mods. Surely gonna subscribe to keep up with you. I wanna install some serious sounds in there so I’m searching for someone that has in clean music
@@EthanSilver I did my own personal mod where I painted the entire bed with bed liner paint and I live in the Caribbean so sun, sand and sea is my every day thing so that’s a must for me. About to install some fog lights and decals by next month (hopefully).

First thing I would get are Laser Cut Floor Mats. Once you Grease up those rugs or damage them with rocks and stuck on bottom of your shoes, there is no going back. Mats First Always. Especially when taking my truck to some Dirty Mechanics, Which I now avoid because they are very unprofessional to leave grease on my Shift Stick, Steering Wheel, Dash, Console, Glove Box etc. I don't care how good of a Mechanic they are or how cheap they charge. I Refuse to have to detail my car every time I bring them my car for work or even risk Greasing up my Pants or Shirt. Can't Stand Dirty Sloppy Mechanics.
They do make aftermarket tail lights, BUUUUT I found them to be fugly or overpriced. The headlights are nice but always out of stock or backordered and fairly affordable. Another company is actually making new headlights but they're pricey. Slowly getting more mod options for the Fronty.
YOu said you added corrosion inhibitor under your frontier and I want to do same to my frontier. Which one did you choose to spray on? I have a 06 Nissan Frontier and really love my frontier too. ...and that ‘hook’ is callied a shackle
Looks great bro! I did the exact same thing with my tail lights! You could always tint the windows and maybe give it a brow! I did it with my silver fronteir and I love the black and silver but it would look really good on your blacked out look! Ngl I may have to get a hoodie 🙃
Ohh and rain guards and front chip deflectors possibly
Might put the chip deflector. Don’t wanna get pulled over for tinted windows but might go light tint! Glad you enjoyed!
7:29 sick transition
Thank you!
I bought this aftermarket bumper from desert runner off-road and it completely changes the truck. It’s aggressive as fuck
That’s sweet! I’m not doin crazy off-roading right now but i have seen what you are talking ab and they look sooo sweet
have you thought about installing a titan steering wheel? i think the frontier's steering wheel is very outdated and ugly and it would be an easy swap
I have wanted to do that forever! Not quite sure if it’s possible or how much it costs
Update video! Fantastic!
Thank you!!
Were the fog lamps direct plug-in without any adapters?
Yes they are!
@@EthanSilver you just have a switch installed in the cab? I’m on some of the same frontier pages on Facebook and I see one guy selling the stalks also. Seemed like that is something I didn’t wanna touch …but if the fogs are direct plug and play I might do it also.
Merch looking hot!
Thank you brooo!
Really nice truck bro!! 👌🏽👌🏽
Thank you bro!!
Is there any technical difference or difficulties depending on which mod you do 1st to your truck?... Is it better to do 1st the metal bumper and 2nd the lift kit? Or the reverse of that is better?
Sorry for the late reply! There would be no difference in the order of those two mods!
@@EthanSilver thanks for the reply and the video, much appreciated.
Toss over a link for those PRO-4X masking stickers! I cant find them... but would LOVE to see that ugly ass yellow gone from the OEM stickers.
Nice truck, you’ve almost talked me into getting one. How has the paint been in terms of chipping? Just curious how prone it is to that.
Thank you! Haven’t had any problems with chipping! Just the good from rocks coming up but that’s to be expected on any car or truck
Great video Ethan, the more I look at your set up, I think I might bite the bullet on the readylift kit! Sits nice plus I have the same tires and wheels so I know itll look great🤙🏽
Thank you!! Dude the lift with this tire setup i literally couldn’t ask for anything better! So stoked with it!
Nice truck brotha. I’ve got a 2018 pro 4x. Can you post info on the future headlights?
Thank you bro! th-cam.com/video/KcZnotoObnc/w-d-xo.html here’s the teaser for the headlights. Still no release date yet sadly
Was the bull bar easy to install? Did you have to cut anything out for the bull bar to fit?
Didn’t have the tools to install myself. But they did cut out a part of the plastic to get to the frame. Seems pretty easy.
Any updates on the headlights? I haven't had luck finding them.
They are out now! Didn’t order yet as they are very expensive. Will most likely get in a couple months
I want to mod my frontier soon, looking forward for your ideas
Awesome dude glad i could help!
Nice mods. I own a 2018 and trust me those floor mats went in the day I got the truck. I like your mods. Surely gonna subscribe to keep up with you. I wanna install some serious sounds in there so I’m searching for someone that has in clean music
Thank you man! Getting the mats most likely this summer. It’s a big need. Thanks for subscribing!
@@EthanSilver I did my own personal mod where I painted the entire bed with bed liner paint and I live in the Caribbean so sun, sand and sea is my every day thing so that’s a must for me. About to install some fog lights and decals by next month (hopefully).
Yep i got about 10lbs of sand in my bed from surfing every year hahaha definitely a necessity to have the bed liner
I put dual pipes on my frontier 10/10 would recommend
I wish!
Ethan have you done the locker mod yet ?
th-cam.com/video/jgFMs-qPdTc/w-d-xo.html
I have not, at school now so away from my truck till summer sadly!
@@EthanSilver this is what the above video is talking about. Watch this one it's the wiring mod to do it for free. There is Frontier forum member on the first video I posted and his contact info on that video if you want a plug and play mod for your locker. 👍 th-cam.com/video/Bntr27J89ng/w-d-xo.html
I’ll check it out thank you man!!
Good job on the Mods
Thank you!
Sticker mods? That’s brilliant.
Haha adds horse power
Too funny. Bro your response time is impeccable.
😂😂 good timing I’m on my phone right now procrastinating homework
@@EthanSilver I looked up Nissan Frontier mods and this video showed up. I just got a 2007 Nissan Frontier so the first thing I need to do is changeout the radiator. I’m loving the Nissan Frontier even though mine is not 4x4.
@@EthanSilver Well do your homework so then you can buy a raptor without any worries.
rear axle vent, very important mod
What does that do exactly?
@@EthanSilver releases pressure in your axle that will decrease the pressure on your rear seels at the wheels. the stock one gets plugged up and will eventually blow your rear seels, it's on the passenger side rear axle, a lot of YT videos on the subject, perfect for you and your channel, and better for your truck. drive safe and keep up the great work!!
Can't Stand Dirty Sloppy Mechanics.
do you have a link for the black pro 4x sticker?
They do make aftermarket tail lights, BUUUUT I found them to be fugly or overpriced. The headlights are nice but always out of stock or backordered and fairly affordable. Another company is actually making new headlights but they're pricey. Slowly getting more mod options for the Fronty.
Yea agreed mostly overpriced stuff. I might splurge on the morimoto lights when they come out if they really blow me away
YOu said you added corrosion inhibitor under your frontier and I want to do same to my frontier. Which one did you choose to spray on? I have a 06 Nissan Frontier and really love my frontier too. Mine is a 06 Nissan Frontier CC with 103,000 miles. Low miles for a 06/ Thanks for the video, anyfeedback appreicated.
I HIGHLY recommend fluid film! I made a video on it recently. Very easy to put on and very proven to work!
Where can I get those black PRO-4X stickers?
Sadly i cannot find the link. I would join some frontier groups on Facebook they post them all the time!
6:16 oh yeah, so into it...
Did you replace your exhaust or just applied the exhaust tip?
Just exhaust tip!
Hey my dude. What’d u do 2 black out ur rear bumper??
Hey man! Rear bumper actually came like that from factory on the pro4x
@@EthanSilver oh really. That’s sweet
Can you post the link for the “4” sticker cover?
lifestyleoffroad.com/shop/ols/products/pro-4x-cover-up-decals Sorry for the delay!
Is that a 2.5' front only??
What’s a good rear bumper replacement
Not sure. I still have my stock one and plan on keeping for a while!
Quick question, how many miles do you think a nissan frontier can go if you take care of it?
I’m 200-600k in my opinion hopefully
@@EthanSilver how many miles does your nissan have? And do you recommend it because I'm thinking about getting one in the future when I have enough money?
@@daniellorenzo1062 i have just under 55k on mine right now! Absolutely love this truck so much.
@@EthanSilver Ethan, hay looks awesome! I had a150.000 on my 2005 Frontier LE when I sold it, as long as you tune these babies up and maintain them they will take care of you! I still haven't bought my truck yet, but considering looking at the 2022 when it comes out next month my service tech told me , she schedules all our work for my wife's 2018 SL Rogue . What's your thoughts on the new 2022 Frontier?
Brad.
Hey brad thanks for the comment! I think they killed it designing the 2022. Can’t wait to see it in person. I called Nissan and the sales person i talked to had no idea when it would get to their dealership. You think about one month?
Yo how is this truck holding up?
So freaking good (knock on wood) Gonna update this video soon!
@@EthanSilver the new frontiers are sweet too! And I also love tacoma.
Frontier and Tacoma !!
My truck is so unmodded. 😢
Everything takes time!!
Do these count on Xterra too 😂
Honestly yea!!😂 a lot of these will!
How much was the lift?
about 600 installed if I remember correctly!
where did you get the tow hitch?
Got it off Amazon!
bad ass truck
Thank you so much!
Precio d la nizan 2012
Nice video. Want a sticker too.
Sweet thank you so much!
Slow down with the camera and show pic a little longer..😮 couldn't see the lift you were going going to fast
what size tires did you go with?
Same exact as stock pro4x wheels!
Does anyone else have a nismo frontier ??.. 😅
I haven't seen one in years!
Donde consigo esos faros de let lupa
Where did you get the hitch
I actually got it off amazon!
ive done a lot of things to mine BC of the nissan frontier fb group ngl
It’s actually so great
Ese es mi sueño, tener una igual que la tuya la tienes bonita
autozone mods
All you did was cosmetic “mod”, bro…. But nothing about the performance mod… lol 😂
Thank you!!
