It only fooled me once. After I noticed that the vertical line is thinner than the horizontal line, which is reverse of the real smash ball, it was easy to distinguish.
I'm not a huge fan of Meta Knight's Final Smash in Ultimate, Darkness Illusion. It's a somewhat generic Great Aether -style attack that appears to only be loosely based on an attack he does in Star Allies. I think it would've been much cooler if Meta Knight's new Final Smash was Meta Knightmares from Kirby: Planet Robobot, a move where he calls upon the Meta-Knights and they slash any opponent caught in the attack. Or they could've kept Galaxia Darkness as his Final Smash since that move also appears in Planet Robobot despite originating from Smash.
Whike it has amazing anticipation o think more needed to be done than just a stationary slash Like having him dash through the opponent while they’re stuck on hitstun would have improved it
Shouldn't JIGGLYPUFF have the final smash that puts everyone to sleep instead of Peach and Daisy? Like, have her pull out the mic, maybe put some spotlights on her, and have her sing to put everyone to sleep.
Final smashes don't need to be direct references, it can be just the essence of who they are. Like Luigi in brawl, no one fully grasps it, seeing as it's just the essence of him being #2. Dark pit also doesn't "fire a bigger arrow" for his final smash. He uses the dark pit staff, a staff modeled specifically after him, and one he did use in his stage of uprising. It is essentially the game's version of a sniper rifle, dealing more damage the farther they are away, which the final smash does actually do, even if it copied the arrow of light mechanically... Speaking of arrow of light, Link's new arrow move is pretty much a nerfed version that doesn't pierce and only hits more than one if they're right next to the victim, which no one is going to be dumb enough to let happen. If they really wanted to make him a good one they should of did something with the master sword, and the triforce of courage, maybe a cinematic where they jam the sword into an opponent's head, before an explosion of light happens... Also daisy with strikers attack? What about STRIKERS CHARGED!? It uses crystals on her arm as she flatout punches the ball. And wanting Rosalina to run people over with a car... GEE, WONDER WHERE I'VE SEEN THAT BEFORE!? You should of focused on dark samus or rob Or maybe the miis
9:52 “Yeah this attack fits the electric rodents, but there are many other Pokémon moves that could’ve been chosen instead.” You forget that Volt Tackle is the signature move of Pikachu’s evolutionary line just like how Psystrike is Mewtwo’s signature move, Mat Block was Greninja’s signature move, and Darkest Lariat was Incineroar’s signature move
There's still better picks. Maybe Pichu can keep Volt Tackle since that was originally only available by breeding one a specific way, but Pikachu has better, more fitting options for a Final Smash. Like his personal Z-Move. Or Surf since Surf Pikachu's been a thing they were pushing at one point (it was a Battle Revolution reward, was part of a line of HM using Pikachus in the Pikachu Pokewalker zone, was a Secret Technique in Let's Go, and was a reward at the end of a sidequest in USUM centered around the Mantine Surf minigame).
in all honesty i'm not a huge fan of final smashes that you have to "control" aside from things like changing the angle or whatever simply bc if i'm gonna hit a guaranteed win button, i don't wanna immediately fuck it up by not being able to control the character. that happened to me a _lot_ in Smash 4. and sure maybe the fake smash ball doesn't fool regular players in 1v1s, but put it in a free-for-all at a party filled with casuals n that thing's getting busted.
actually i think dark pits has a stronger basis hes a snipr who uses the dark pit staff to snipe opponents from across the screen its actually fairly representive
Oh boy, just wait till the algorithm take over and people get masacured by fake news and straight up lies, which causes the rest of humanity to go into hiding in in space safe locations in the world, as the algorithm mercicsly and tirelessly hunts us down to try to one day kill every last human.
"If you ask anyone in the community for the worst final smash, two that come up a lot are Peach and Daisy's" Pretty sure you didn't ask the community. Because they generally wouldn't pick "Kill anyone off stage, heal for 60, gain 100% stage presence for items, and get a free charged smash." As a BAD ability. It's probably the best Final Smash in the game. It's that or Zelda.
Zelda's Final Smash is fine as is. The Dominion Rod doesn't really make sense, as that's just a random weapon from Hyrule Warriors that she happens to use. Her current one is perfect imo because she's sealing the opponent, like she's been known to do to Ganon.
What moveset buffs would you give to characters could be a cool idea (giving kirby a new side b, sword wielding back air and superjump up b for example)
Just change lithoes fundemebtak design a bit so he can actually use his foot abilities Keep the kirbyisms with the simple functions and obvious launch angles give us more than his specials and dash attack
"Fake Smash Ball wont be fooling anybody". Like the Fake Item Box in Mario Kart when you place it just behind a real item box, you can strategize with the Fake Smash Ball. I usually try to destroy the Fake Smash Ball from a distance when it's close to my opponent, where it'll blow up and hurt them. It does take a little practice and luck to pull it off, especially considering that the fake one usually tries to stick close to the real one.
I wish Rosalina had a cutscene finisher. She can still trap the opponent in the star, but then her space ship can crash into it at high speed, and explode the star
Ultimate made a huge mistake when they “wanted to streamline Final Smashes. There could have been so much more fan-service, but too many FSs are “dash forward and hit them a bunch.” Donkey Kong, the Twins Links, Greninja, Sheik, Little Mac, Joker, Pikachu, Pichu and so many more and just so… meh. Joker is the stand out example here even his is lame, it’s just slightly less lame since he can turn around during it.
I honestly liked Mario's final smash. It was really cool to see Mario using his fire manipulation to send a wave a fireballs in a cyclone formation to hit his enemies. So to me it's not a abomination. Also I love the concept of the Fake Smash Ball. Sure you say "No one is gonna hit it." But you be surprised how many people hit that fake smash ball..whether it was on accident..or to use it to your advantage.
Yeah, he's still a semi-clone like Falco, Wolf, Ganondorf, the Links, Pichu, etc., but he's not as close as the Echo Fighters. For one thing, he once again gets the Tornado as his Down Special instead of that stupid FLUDD.
So, I know many people loved Mega Man’s final smash, and I do too, but I feel there are other alternatives. To reference more classic material, you could use the super adapter, where he merges with rush. Like Charizard and Yoshi in Smash 4, he could fly around blasting everyone and shooting his fist at them. However, you could reference newer material by having him use the double gear system and overcharge the Mega Buster.
This is an amazing idea cannot wait for the change ideas. Edit: when ultimate came out and insinaroar was introduced i was hoping puff would get fairium z.
Steve already has a really good final smash but I thought it would be a fun idea to come up with another concept that I feel would also work for Steve’s final smash So here it is Steve pulls out a command block and is given a small list of commands to input Tp Summon Effect If TP is selected the nearest opponent is selected and a cursor is used to select where you want to teleport them If Summon is selected your given a choice of 3 mobs The Ender Dragon Iron golem Charged Creeper And if you pick effect your given the choice between Slowness, Poison, and Nausea all of them will work identical to how they do in the actual game except nausea which would reverse the targets controls I don’t know that mich about game balancing so I don’t know how broke this would be but I think it could work
Dark pits final smash is actually (Judging by the looks) him using the dark pit staff. A weapon that references him, and has a ridiculously good charge shot in kid icarus uprising
ok no way peach and daisy have one of the worst final smashes, you literally get a free KO or at least a lot of damage, not to mention heal to full health
I'm sorry but I personally really don't like a lot of the ideas. I like when things are referenced but in the end, final smash need to be cool attacks for casual players could still enjoy. I'd mich rather have a super cool attack that isn't a reference to anything than a weird cutscene hinting at a game that I haven't played just to put a reference. References by themselves are not good, they need purpose. For exemple I really hate the new link final smash, not that the old one was that good but this one is so quick and impractical and is only here to remind us that they threw decades of history of link because botw sold well.
I actually really like the idea of Mario’s new final smash, and I think if they were the change it, they could totally keep the “bigger” fireball in as a way to bring the opponents into the cutscene
Are you implying that volt tackle (pikachu evolution line signature move) isn’t a good fit for pikachu??? For pichu I might understand, for variety, but volt tackle is the most fitting FS for him (outside maybe his special Z-move of Gmax form, but those are currently a one game thing)
@@poliorice3600 what?? You make no sense. Pikachu having volt tackle as his FS is simply the most fitting FS he could have. (No idea what you’re talking about)
What? A free fully charged smash attack and 45% heal? Peaches ultimate is the BEST ultimate. I understand that there are no differences between the 2 but calling it the worst is absurd.
I got a little idea for Falco: He would jump in his Arwing and, behind the stage, he’ll attack the other characters with those good old lasers and he’ll finish with a Smart Bomb.
It’s gone because they got rid of transformation final smashes so if it got added back then all of the transformation final smashes would have to be added back
9:40 that's something that I always felt. The point was to make everything more chaotic, but removing them just meant that you dodge at the right time and nothing happens.
DKs alternate Final smash putting the enemy into a barrel and then punching them is also a reference to DKC Tropical freeze where at the end of a stage you'd mash your heart out on the finish barrel
I still like the idea of 3 custom Final Smashes for each character examples: DK 1. Jungle Rush 2. Konga Beat 3. Rambi Charge (cinematic) Luigi 1. Poltergust 2. Negative Zone 3. Luigi Finale (electric type Mario Finale) Yoshi 1. Stampede 2. Super Dragon 3. Mega Eggdozer Inkling 1. Killer Wale 2. Booyah Blast 3. Inkstrike Kirby 1. Ultra Sword 2. Robobot 3. Dark Pit Staff is based on the Staff Special Attack in Sky Battles. The exact same thing the Arrow Special Attack. But Staff Special Attack only hits things in front of it just like Smash. Also it's one of the best Final Smashes in the game. It's boring but practical. Also Dark Pit Staff is actually unique in Ultimate unlike Pit's which is a clone of the Dragoon item. I don't think you know the source materials of these attacks.
@@jmurray1110 It's not similar to Ancient Arrows. It's unique in Ultimate since Light Arrows are replaced. Also Ancient Bow & Arrow doesn't have a stun box and they don't pierce through multiple options. Arrows explode on contact the Dark Pit Staff doesn't.
I feel like a really cool idea for Mario’s FS would be using the Super Star, which is one of the strongest and most iconic power-ups from Mario. It could work either like DK’s final smash where Mario traps the enemy and does a combo or be a dash forward strike like Marth. I personally think it’s the most fitting idea for Mario.
11:54 a good middle ground might be if it ocasionally does a sort of glitch animation. It would make people hesitant to hit smashballs to quickly because they could be fake, so they wait it out, but while their attention is on the ball, seeing if it glitches, they are open for attack.
It's based on him because he's a boss (a lot of boss characters have weapons based on them), and he used it one time in one level in an optional encounter. And the result in Smash is just "a bigger arrow" essentially since it's a ripoff of Zelda and Sheik's Light Arrow, which is now being copied by Link's Ancient Arrow, which makes far more sense for him to have given that was one of the first things shown off about BotW.
Yeah they need to bring back the overpowered bullshit final smashes like the landmasters for example. That shit was more fun and cancerous than these boring cutscene ultimate smashes
What do you mean with the fake smash ball not fooling anyone? Void was fooled so many times in Alpharad's casual invitational and he's a top player! :P
I always wanted a special victory screen if you finished the match with a final smash similar to jokers secret victory screen, it would be small but would just be all the more satisfying
I think for botw link, it would be cool for him to shoot the arrow and it be a cutscene fs for him to summon the Devine beasts to shoot the opponents caught in it
@@Nosretep well hey that's your opinion. Personally I just feel like the there's a lot more you can do with the cinematics and I feel like the ones for the newest fighters have a lot of cool references in them.
Ok. Here is a long shot idea for dark samus. It is a cutscene final smash with dark samus charging forward, and dragging anyone hit into the cutscene. The cutscene would leave the caught fighter on a planet while a leviathan meteor makes impact on the planet, crashing into the fighters caught. This would mainly do large damage but not the biggest amount of knockback. After this final smash the opponent will be affect by inverted controls (as if the phazon corrupts the fighter for a moment). With the controls staying inverted the more damage they had going into the final smash. However. If at the end of the final smash the trapped fighters end in over 100% damage, they become completely corrupted and are automatically KOed. This helps break dark samus out of just being an echo of samus without much fancy. With this being inspired by prime 3, corruption.
You know, I really don't mind Mario's final smash. I wish it had more kill power, because it's pretty underpowered for a final smash, but I like the idea behind it. It really does feel like a finale. It's the next logical step in Mario's fire powers, and seeing as the Fire Flower is his more iconic power, then it makes sense. I really hate that Dr Mario reuses it shamelessly though.
I think that a combination of both of Link's final smashes would be really cool. Imagine, instead of the triforce trapping people, Link puts you in stasis, and instead of just the finished thrust, it finished with a shot of an ancient arrow
Daisy-Crystal Gaunlet Y.Link-Fierce Deity T.Link-Cyclone Simon-??? Lucina-Luna Jighlyluff-Twinkle Tackle Pichu-Giga Volt Havoc Meta Knight-Galaxia of Dark Pit-Three Sacred Treasures
Bro cutscenes final smashes are even more uninspired than the old ones. There's no diversity it's just click to win then watch a cutscene. I'd prefer they keep Mario finale.
I do think that the cutscenes are a bit overdone. However, when I stop and think about it, I don’t mind many. For the most part, the Final Smashes are meant to represent a final “finishing blow.” For characters like Cloud, Banjo, Joker, Sephiroth, many of the Fire Emblem Characters, King K. Rool and various other RPG characters like Pokémon. The cutscenes make sense as their “final move.” Now, I’m not going to defend those, but for other characters, yes, the controlling ones made much more sense, I loved ones Like Warioman, Giga Mac/Bowser, Dedede’s brawl final smash, and especially Luigi’s Negative Zone. I know that Smash is all about fighting, but for most characters, the cutscene final smashes make sense for canonical “finishing blow.” I like them since they include lots of neat little references that you wouldn’t otherwise think of.
@@Moon-nk3co cool references or not, cutscenes final smashes are way less immersive than interactive final smashes, would you prefer to transform into wario man and beat your enemies into bloody pulp or pressing a button and watch wario doing it for you?
Pretty much. There are better ways to make a final smash that aren't glorified cutscenes. For example, what if toon link instead changed the environment of the stage like ice climbers? Submerge a lot of the stage, and summon tornadoes on the remaining land to attack the rest. also maybe summon the king of red lions on the water as well. I get that some stages will have to be accounted for, but it's still better than obligatory one shot cutscene #57.
If I was to change Young Link's Final Smash, I would have it be either a cutscene where he blitzes the opponent with his all his Mask forms, or simply have him use Din's Fire (working akin to a Smart Bomb or Hero's Magic Burst) if only to remain more consistent with his more Ocarina of Time-based aesthetic. Personally, I too would have given Bowser Jr a cinematic where he bombards the opponent from an airship, especially since the Koopalings are synonymous with airships and Bowser Jr. has become more associated with them than with the Magic Paintbrush, or at least give the existing Final Smash a visual change where only Bowser Jr. transforms and the other Koopalings make the X using their wands.
Final Smashs I would change: *Mario:* Mario Finale is okay, but Mario should to transform into Fire Mario, since that palette was cut from Ultimate. *Donkey Kong:* Jungle Rush is okay, but I think Konga Beat fits better with DK. Jungle Rush can work as a Infinite Neutral Attack, it's a flurry of punches that finish with an uppercut, like Bowser Jr's. *Dark Samus:* Phazon Laser now would inflict continuous poison damage (like Yuri Kozukata's camera), since Phazon is a highly radioactive substance. *Pikachu:* Volt Tackle should to be Pikachu's Side B, similar to Charizard's Flare Blitz. For its Final Smash, I would choose 10,000,000 Thunderbolt, Ash's Pikachu's signature Z-Move. *Jigglypuff:* Change Puff Up's visual effects to look like Dynamax. And it needs a different function too, IDK, hit three times and the final soundwave is a finishing blow. *Daisy:* Remove the edible flowers and make flowes sprout in the opponents' heads instead. *Lucina:* Awakening Aether but with some animations different to Chrom's. *Young Link:* You can keep the Triforce Slash, but PLEASE put on the Fierce Deity Mask. *Pit:* Bring back the Three Sacred Treasures, just make them faster. *Sonic:* I have no complaints about his current Final Smash, but...I think a Team Blast from Sonic Heroes would be cool. I imagine the special Team Blast that Team Sonic use against Metal Overlord (just fly with the power of the Chaos Emeralds and hit the opponents, but now Tails and Knuckles would help). *Toon Link:* He uses the Wind Waker for a taunt only, why? Play Ballad of Gales and send your enemies away. *Robin:* Summon Grima and burn them all with its fire breath, like in Fire Emblem Heroes. *Richter:* Simon keeps the Grand Cross where he summons a coffin and uses the move during a cutscene. Richter summons the energy crosses in the stage instead, working similar to Ken's Shinryuken.
Expanding on the Toon Link idea. Ballad of Gales sucks up foes right in front of him, then while they're taking constant damage in the funnel, the King of Red Lions, Tetra's pirate ship, and Linebeck's ship all shoot at the funnel. It finishes with a big burst of damage as all who are caught inside are blown up by all the bombs in the funnel with them. Launched in possibly random directions?
The idea of replacing Mario's Final Smash to one that warp the enemy to a 8 bit castle stage full of traps, enemies and lava. If you could do it for Dr. Mario it could do the same but warp them inside an unknown living being that is affected by those Red/Blue/Yellow Virus monsters, raining on the enemies. Then Dr. Mario shows up with a deluge of pills causing a huge explosion of electricity.
"I got excited... and then found out that it's not gonna be fooling anybody." You say that, but top player Void lost to MVD at Alpharad's Casual Invitataional because he was fooled by it at 30;43 in that vod
The fake smash ball is actually fairly easy to mistake for the real one if it falls on the ground, since it can then turn in a way that makes it appear to be a normal smash ball. The only way I’ve been able to tell in an actual battle where you don’t have time to overly analyze this is if I saw the smash ball in the air beforehand, as then it’s pretty obvious.
What they could’ve done for Roselina is some a bunch of lumas as an activation box then either A: Throw them into a hungry luma with a bunch of starbits, the have that Luma explode into a new galaxy, blasting the opponent away B: Throwing them into that Double Sided Tornado which also explodes
How could you not cover Steve's? It's probably my least favorite final smash, in terms of representation. Instead of knocking your opponents into a random castle filled with creepers and zombies (using a piston that's really big for some reason?), imagine how cool it would be to push them into an end portal for them to get beat up by the ender dragon, or to build a wither on the stage, Petey Piranha-style.
I would love to see meta knight’s galaxia darkness come back. I just don’t really get what’s going on with his new one, even as a massive Kirby fan. Plus galaxia darkness was simple and elegant and fit the character much much better

You should of focused on dark samus or rob
Or maybe the miis
9:52 “Yeah this attack fits the electric rodents, but there are many other Pokémon moves that could’ve been chosen instead.”
You forget that Volt Tackle is the signature move of Pikachu’s evolutionary line just like how Psystrike is Mewtwo’s signature move, Mat Block was Greninja’s signature move, and Darkest Lariat was Incineroar’s signature move
@@espurrseyes42 The personal Z-Move, maybe, but Volt Tackle is still easily Pikachu's 2nd most fitting option.
in all honesty i'm not a huge fan of final smashes that you have to "control" aside from things like changing the angle or whatever simply bc if i'm gonna hit a guaranteed win button, i don't wanna immediately fuck it up by not being able to control the character. that happened to me a _lot_ in Smash 4.
and sure maybe the fake smash ball doesn't fool regular players in 1v1s, but put it in a free-for-all at a party filled with casuals n that thing's getting busted.
actually i think dark pits has a stronger basis hes a snipr who uses the dark pit staff to snipe opponents from across the screen its actually fairly representive
Oh boy, just wait till the algorithm take over and people get masacured by fake news and straight up lies, which causes the rest of humanity to go into hiding in in space safe locations in the world, as the algorithm mercicsly and tirelessly hunts us down to try to one day kill every last human.
Bruh, your version of Mario’s final smash is hella cool
"If you ask anyone in the community for the worst final smash, two that come up a lot are Peach and Daisy's"
Pretty sure you didn't ask the community. Because they generally wouldn't pick "Kill anyone off stage, heal for 60, gain 100% stage presence for items, and get a free charged smash." As a BAD ability.
It's probably the best Final Smash in the game. It's that or Zelda.
We're not talking competitively here.
@@Compucles They're good casually too.

To be fair, I still want to see Grima referenced in Robin’s Final Smash. It would be pretty badass.
"The original way to defeat Bowser will always be the original"

For Fox's final smash, he should pull out a Gamecube and the transform into Melee Fox.
With the added ability to meteor cancel and edgehog

The fake smash ball makes sense when it spawns on the floor because it rolls around instead of maintaining its upside down orientation.
_>fake smash ball isn't going to be fooling anybody_
Try playing with friends and in the middle of a chaotic battle
Zelda's Final Smash is fine as is. The Dominion Rod doesn't really make sense, as that's just a random weapon from Hyrule Warriors that she happens to use. Her current one is perfect imo because she's sealing the opponent, like she's been known to do to Ganon.
Yea

What moveset buffs would you give to characters could be a cool idea (giving kirby a new side b, sword wielding back air and superjump up b for example)
Just change lithoes fundemebtak design a bit so he can actually use his foot abilities
Keep the kirbyisms with the simple functions and obvious launch angles give us more than his specials and dash attack
I just wanna say, the axe that breaks the bridge has just gotta be the best thing I've heard for a Mario FS, it's perfect
I wish Rosalina had a cutscene finisher. She can still trap the opponent in the star, but then her space ship can crash into it at high speed, and explode the star

Personally, I loved trying to dodge the Three Sacred Treasures. I always felt amazing when I pulled it off.
Personally I think the great sacred treasure would probably be better sure it wasn’t entirely effective but it was the reason hades was defeated

Siiroth if he got to direct a Smash Bros game: "Oops, all Cutscene Final Smashes"
I saw the Fake Smash ball fool someone before. And it even briefly fooled me once, before I saw the telltale sign of a fake and backed off.
Jigglypuffs final smash is op if you knock the opponent off the edge then walk off the ledge and then final smash and they can’t get back
I honestly liked Mario's final smash.
Trust me, Doctor Mario is definitely not an echo fighter of Mario. They play completely different from one another.
Yeah, he's still a semi-clone like Falco, Wolf, Ganondorf, the Links, Pichu, etc., but he's not as close as the Echo Fighters. For one thing, he once again gets the Tornado as his Down Special instead of that stupid FLUDD.
Yeah one has amazing up air ladders and the other suffers from little max disease
I can’t wait either
Peach and daisy actually have some of the best final smashes along with zelda.
Steve already has a really good final smash but I thought it would be a fun idea to come up with another concept that I feel would also work for Steve’s final smash
So here it is
Steve pulls out a command block and is given a small list of commands to input
Tp
Summon
Effect
If TP is selected the nearest opponent is selected and a cursor is used to select where you want to teleport them
If Summon is selected your given a choice of 3 mobs
The Ender Dragon
Iron golem
Charged Creeper
And if you pick effect your given the choice between Slowness, Poison, and Nausea all of them will work identical to how they do in the actual game except nausea which would reverse the targets controls
I don’t know that mich about game balancing so I don’t know how broke this would be but I think it could work
I really like your idea for Mario's final smash it's much better than the abomination that is the Mario Finale
Dark pits final smash is actually (Judging by the looks) him using the dark pit staff. A weapon that references him, and has a ridiculously good charge shot in kid icarus uprising
I like daisy’s idea I just think it should be her crystallized daisy special from Mario strikers charged
ok no way peach and daisy have one of the worst final smashes, you literally get a free KO or at least a lot of damage, not to mention heal to full health

You have no idea how many people still fall for the fake smash ball

Dark pit's final smash references him using his staff.
Are you implying that volt tackle (pikachu evolution line signature move) isn’t a good fit for pikachu???
For pichu I might understand, for variety, but volt tackle is the most fitting FS for him (outside maybe his special Z-move of Gmax form, but those are currently a one game thing)

Dr. Mario's should be he gets game over in Dr Mario but the opponents now suffer from the viruses
I think you're the first person that didn't change Sonic's final smash. I really want it back to Brawl/4/WiiU. Anyone else?

It’s gone because they got rid of transformation final smashes so if it got added back then all of the transformation final smashes would have to be added back
Well I don't have a problem with that :p.
Peach and daisy... have probably the best final smashes in the game...
Or when DK punches the moon in DKC.. (is that moment even in DKC?)

I really miss these final smashes where you could do something
Dark Pit Staff is based on the Staff Special Attack in Sky Battles. The exact same thing the Arrow Special Attack. But Staff Special Attack only hits things in front of it just like Smash.
Also it's one of the best Final Smashes in the game. It's boring but practical.
Also Dark Pit Staff is actually unique in Ultimate unlike Pit's which is a clone of the Dragoon item.
I don't think you know the source materials of these attacks.
It’s not exactly unique it’s very similar in function to the ancient arrows on ultimate and Zelda and shieks light arrows from brawl and sm4sh
Have you played kIU? Not saying it’s bad but there is actually significance in Dark pits final smash.
We don't need any more cutscene smashes
Yeah they need to bring back the overpowered bullshit final smashes like the landmasters for example. That shit was more fun and cancerous than these boring cutscene ultimate smashes
I'll never forget negative zone and the fire jump punch instakill
What do you mean with the fake smash ball not fooling anyone? Void was fooled so many times in Alpharad's casual invitational and he's a top player! :P

@@Nosretep nearly every final smash slows it down but I'm not gonna change what you think
1:56 It's a reskin but way stronger. Kinda like Dr. Mario in general. He's a reskin with stronger attacks, some better moves and a PhD

Bro cutscenes final smashes are even more uninspired than the old ones. There's no diversity it's just click to win then watch a cutscene. I'd prefer they keep Mario finale.
Yeah. I’m so sick of cutscene final smashes. They are so lame and it’s always gonna be one of two outcomes
@@Metalc Supernova is the only decent one. It would’ve been better if it was 2 minutes long
I do think that the cutscenes are a bit overdone.
However, when I stop and think about it, I don’t mind many. For the most part, the Final Smashes are meant to represent a final “finishing blow.”
For characters like Cloud, Banjo, Joker, Sephiroth, many of the Fire Emblem Characters, King K. Rool and various other RPG characters like Pokémon. The cutscenes make sense as their “final move.”
Now, I’m not going to defend those, but for other characters, yes, the controlling ones made much more sense, I loved ones Like Warioman, Giga Mac/Bowser, Dedede’s brawl final smash, and especially Luigi’s Negative Zone.
I know the pultergust probably fits better as a reference but I wish Luigi kept The Negative Zone as his Final Smash.
Wait did he say the some of the worst FS are peaches and daisy’s! I mean they are boring but strong as hell.
Worst as far as inspiration, not competitive strength.
Considering Daisy’s kick in the second soccer game was a crystalline gauntlet of doom, I’m REEEEALLY disappointed in her having just a dance.
Final Smashs I would change:
*Mario:* Mario Finale is okay, but Mario should to transform into Fire Mario, since that palette was cut from Ultimate.
Interesting ideas! Dark Samus one seems pretty cool
Why summon Grima if he's not posessed by it in Smash?

The fake smash ball is actually fairly easy to mistake for the real one if it falls on the ground, since it can then turn in a way that makes it appear to be a normal smash ball. The only way I’ve been able to tell in an actual battle where you don’t have time to overly analyze this is if I saw the smash ball in the air beforehand, as then it’s pretty obvious.
What they could’ve done for Roselina is some a bunch of lumas as an activation box then either
A: Throw them into a hungry luma with a bunch of starbits, the have that Luma explode into a new galaxy, blasting the opponent away
B: Throwing them into that Double Sided Tornado which also explodes
4:05 This man played fetch with a Pikachu and then blew it up. Do you guys understand how messed up that is?
Dark pits final smash that you came up with is just pits from smash 4 but with arrows pinning down people.
