It was a youtube challange to make a video cooking a steak and putting the Gordon Ramsay sound over it. Unfortunately I just had Rosemary at home and I couldnt change the sound
I’ve always wondered… does frying Rosemary and garlic (and whatever else) with the meat actually add any real flavor to it, seeing as it’s such a short time and using butter, not water?
It mostly depends on the cut youre using. If youre using a fattier cut of beef, you‘ll be fine doing that, but filet usually needs some additional oil for me
This „paper“ was fleur de sel a special form of seasalt and flower blossom And you dont peel the garlic when using it as an aromatic so it doesnt burn to quickly, you just crush it so the flavor comes out without burning taste :)
Nah worse, it was starting to turn around the edge before it was even cooked. This is a cut of steak that was either set out to thaw for too long, thawed with warm/hot water or has already begun to spoil. 🤢
“Make sure you add a bit of shredded blue crayon”
💀💀💀
AWHAAATTT?!?!
what was that blue thing?
also leaves from the street
?
That's one rosemary looking tyme!
😂😅😂😅😂😅
LMFAO
Exactly, because I thought the same 😂🍷🍷🍷🍷
Dead 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Somebody just stole his voiceover for a different video. It’s not him cooking the steak.
He said “thyme” that’s not Thyme its Rosemary
That’s exactly what I said 😂
@@brandonj8780 Probably just copied his voice and used it for their own video. Might be a good idea for them to learn their herbs before posting 👍

Wait…..you’re not Gordon Ramsey? I want my money back
@@natwestrowleymile haha i know right!
Now its finally out!
The guide to cooking a perfect steak:
-Hand the steak to Gordon and wait
That's disgusting stea T
Never seen Gordon cook steak properly even once
Rosemary and crayon shavings …….wealth!
touch of oil? That's about 20 times the amount of oil I use...
lmfao right? He basically shallow fried it. Way too much oil
Yep, definitely nailed the "touch of oil in"
I thought he said "touch the ball in" 💀
Perfection. I prefer mine a little more done but I could defiently eat this.
One little additional tip,
Make sure the steak is room temperature before you cook it ❤🥩😋
Once you have seared it, how long do you baste it for medium?
Its a myth, makes no difference
Ooh thank you!
@@IvanIvan-cx9hjprobably slows the cooking if it’s cold
Lets all chip in and send this man to cooking school!
This man has like 7 muchlen star
And many restaurants in many countries
@@allenk6373he's talking about the guy in the video😊
That looks a lot like rosemary
Rosemary is solid, good temp. Nice job bruv
Marco could've flip the steak with the spoon, but he did it with his bare hand. His choice.
Gordon voice over !
It's thyme to learn your herbs.
Someone stole the audio. Gordon never use gloves either 😂
It looks like you emptied a vacuum cleaner onto the steak at the end with the pieces of rug and lint it picked up
That is the difference between 20$ and 200$ steak. Carpet lint 🤤
My boy put shredded paper on at the end
Looks like a pleasurable tasting steak 🥩
Looks so professional👌
I love how nothing came out when he presses it
Did anyone notice his voice was exactly word to word of Gorden Ramsey s perfect steak cookery vid😅😂
Still very good cooking at least
Lol, that was rosemary. And why did dude sprinkle potpourri on it at the end?!😂
My favorite Chef! ❤
Delicious! I love cooking and did a steak video on my channel, but boy or boy urs is fire!
Bro forgot what Thyme is
How long you sear for?
Steak looks oxidised before he started cooking it
I think it's just dry aged for flavour - that's that brown on the edge you are seeing
@willsmith39 it's not. You don't get this colour from dry age
Now I find out I've been using thyme instead of rosemary.
“Add some thyme”
*adds rosemary*
if you’re gonna steal a soundbite at least do it right
Maybe bro ain’t have Rosemary, damn😂
He doesn't have the thyme to do that. *rimshot
Stealing? Are you serious? Lmfao
What kind of steak did he use ?
Was that saffron that he added at the end?
Perfect
When ramsey doesn't know the difference between thyme and rosemary 😅
That's not him cooking, the person took the voiceover from gordon's video and filmed himself following the instructions
It turns into it ptfect every time
Whats that stuff at the end
It is looking mind blowingly super Gorgeous and must be delicious after all that ingredients mixed with it perfectly ❤
What was that blue stuff at the end?
Looking good 👍 👌 ❤
Love this cooking method. Prefer it over grilling a fillet.
I’ve always wondered… does frying Rosemary and garlic (and whatever else) with the meat actually add any real flavor to it, seeing as it’s such a short time and using butter, not water?
That thyme looks more like rosemary.
How long to let it rest? Does the steak get cold?
I seen a guy season then rub oil the steak. Seared it with no oil in pan. Places butter and based it. Is that fine too
It mostly depends on the cut youre using. If youre using a fattier cut of beef, you‘ll be fine doing that, but filet usually needs some additional oil for me
Touch of oil huh
Rather have bowl of coco pops
First it wasnt a touch of oil second u used rosmary still looked really delicious
I do rosemary..have no thyme for others
so what do you do if you want medium... How do you continue without burning the steak?? keep flipping it??
He likes to use Rosemary and Garlic in his Beef Recipes, and i don't blame him.
Rosemary!!!!!!!
Little bit of thyme????? That’s rosemary you donut!
You know that's rosemary not thyme right?
LMFAO that voice
That is rosemary not thyme..
Why'd you add dried rose pieces to a steak? Save it for tea at the very least.
That's not the same steak he started with, and it may not be 1st attempt. The beauty of videos.
Glory To God
WOW WHAT A GREAT ORIGINAL IDEA FOR CONTENT ON TH-cam
That’s rosemary
Then smother with A-1 Sauce.
Wtf was that blue shit?!
what blue shuff, i didn't see anything blue
Dehydrated flower petals
Chef in America we call those rosemary.
Seen tons of cooking short vids. Gordon's short vids are now hittin my phone. This man is the Master's Master. Nice work Gordo.! .
Wow ❤
What's the purple garnish?
Thats „fleur de sel“ :)
A special finishing salt with dried blossoms
Rosemary
He just pulled the lint out of his pocket and sprinkled it on the steak 🥩
Touch of oil to sear…proceeds to fry
If thats thyme , im pope !
You know this shit is fake when "Gordon Ramsay" puts gloves on to cook a steak
Was that lavender he sprinkled at the end?
Dried rose for whatever reason. Lavender is a lot smaller.
This is fleur de sel
That’s not Thyme , it’s was Rosemary 🌱
Thyme? Geordie, that looked suspiciously like rosemary.
Lol, Why you put the thymes above before cutting it.
That is is so raw
Poor duck, you'd think someone would have told him the difference between thyme and rosemary. Celeb chefs huh!
You didn’t peel the garlic 😭 and was that paper you put on it in the end?
This „paper“ was fleur de sel a special form of seasalt and flower blossom
And you dont peel the garlic when using it as an aromatic so it doesnt burn to quickly, you just crush it so the flavor comes out without burning taste :)
Looks like rosemary to me!
Pretty sure Ramsey would crush the garlic 1st....
LETS ALL TAG THE VEGAN TEACHER!!!
I would have to eat this in private. I'm black and my family would shame me, and disown me for eating the way I love my steak. 🤷🏽♀️😎👍🏽
😂
Thyme? I think not
Pan fried filet
No mushrooms?
No gorgonzola?
Awww... 🤗🙏
Medium YUM 😋
Nice but got a few comments which is how much oil u put in and around the edges it was slightly overcooked
Nah worse, it was starting to turn around the edge before it was even cooked. This is a cut of steak that was either set out to thaw for too long, thawed with warm/hot water or has already begun to spoil. 🤢
That was Rosemary
How tf was that thyme?
Audio from an actual gordon ramsey video. But this is your own video

BEAUTIFUL ….
DELICIOUS…
GORDON RAMSAY
Count Dracula's mouth 👄 is watering Gordon! 🥩 🧛♂️
I don't think that guy knows what he is doing.
Do people really not check who made the video???
😌
No juice on that squeeze tho
That's because it all came out when he cut it.
Yeah didn't rest it long enough
Sir did u wanna peel the garlic an get the thyme 🤨🤔
You don't peel the garlic, so it doesn't burn in the pan.
If i was to buy that steak in Sweden it would cost me 10 dollars
Touch of oil? No that was like a deep fat fryer
