Not even the Moog demos make the Sound Studio sound this good. I'm in awe. I also wondered why would spend money on a pdf... the answer is in this demo. Well done.
Abit late to the party, but totally worth the dollars - that you are not handheld through making the m32 sequences is a good thing, you end up making something (completely) different and you (I) will most likely have a way better understanding of patching the three machines together after going through all the patches. Some of this stuff I didn't know the DFAM or the Subharmonicon was cabable of doing. Job well done! EDIT: An index in the PDF would be nice, a small detail of course but feel I will be tired from scrolling up and down while looking at your video ;)
@@AntonAnru As mentioned NOT a problem, but an overview on the beginning of the pdf with names and pagenumbers for the tracks would make it easier to follow your video and find the right track. I also wondered abit about the tempo division as I see one other did too, but I assume it is just the tempo knob setting? Or is it while pressing the kb/step buttons? I start every morning with a new patch these days - perfect. EDIT: Well. You DO add the audiofiles, and these have the same numbers as the pdf - so I can just listen to these tracks. But its quite cool to just put on your video and choose from there.
Excellent, glad you've put all 3 together. I plan on grabbing this patch set later today (maybe the combo pack!) Kind of a niche ask, but as someone with a matriarch and sound studio 3, are there any plans on making a patch set with everything connected together?
@@AntonAnru it's a blast! I've been using the matriarch's sample and hold out with all of the sound studio pieces, subharmonicon rhythms to separate the rhythms of the dfam and the matriarch and the delay on the matriarch to make interesting drones
@@AntonAnru of course, I can only imagine how much work that'd be! 😅 Really appreciate the work you put into each soundset -- it's helped my understanding of the synth a lot!
The problem with these synths is they cant really play songs. They are great for doing this kind of thing where they play one pattern over and over and over again but they dont have memorys that can be changed in time to play other parts. The M32 does have pattern memory but you cant switch it in time unless you hit the buttons exactly at the right time which is hit and miss at best. You would need a load of these units to play a complicated composition. Thats their weakness.
@@AntonAnru Synths aren't supposed to play songs? funny how basic synths like 303s and TR drum synths have a song mode that lets you store and recall 100s of patterns. Not everyone wants to use workstations.
@@uv77mc85 they are also called groove-boxes. yes, some of them have a song mode. but most synths' main task is to produce timbres. Patterns/sequences - sometimes. Songs - a rare thing. I would also add that (far) not everyone is interested in the song mode to add it to every synth
Nice patches, too! Does this one include all other patches then the pack for Behringer Edge + Crave that I've just bought? As I own the Subharmonicon next to the both Behringers, I was wondering if this additional package would work for me, too?
Love these patches and I had a quick question- What does “Time division 6” or “Time division 5” mean on the patch sheets? I’m not sure what setting the time division is referring to. Any help would be great!!
I’m going to have to get this as well as the others I bought! Late to the party though, is there 20% discount code for this for people who have your other ones?
@AntonAnru I like ur creativity. Just bought all 3. Waiting for the 3 tier stand/ some more cables. After which I'll purchase a combo of patches from ya. I've been into guitars basses and keyboard synths for the longest and just discovered a love for modulars now, oh boy. More time with moog, less time dating. No headahes.
Only one thing comes to mind really: Software has really nothing over hardware. It sounds thick, pristine, clear and lush. You just need to know what to listen for..
Softube’s Juno model sounds indistinguishable from the hardware. So does Roland’s new units with the classic synth engines. Software has come a long way.
I can't agree. I have no questions to software, it's beautiful. There are some things, like Moog, that are difficult to "beat", but there are many hardware synths, including analog, that are nothing in comparison with top vsts

Is there any way to find the bpm from sound studio patches? Or any way to sync clock with Ableton?
there's a folder with WAV samples with BPM information. yes, you can sync sound studio via midi or CV

is it possible to buy and download only PDF without sounds?
you may just buy the product, use the PDF and ignore the sounds. Samples are just a bonus
