Is there a way to a countdown on order selections? I use google form for my pop-up food concept and would like to input X amount of orders that can be pre-ordered ahead of an event. The way I am handling it now is constantly monitoring it, then downloading the spreadsheet, saving the responses for the particular menu item, then changing the option on the form to “0” or *Sold Out.* Of course this method is a pain since it alters all the previous responses for the selection in the Google Form. Any advice?

Hello - Everything you explained worked so far! I just want to change some. If I want to create multiple item and the number of item in a grid using check box grid instead of dropdown menu, how do I include in the order total? I have one issue though when following this tutorial... in my short answer field that we gave the title of "Subtotal," I put the text you typed so that it calculates. But it then just says "Configure" and doesn't do what it's supposed to do... any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Hi, what question type is "Order Summary"? There's nothing that appears on your video and you also didn't show HOW you created that question. You just scrolled down and started typing Order Summary. I ended up choosing short or long answer text, and in formfacade, I typed the formula like you said, and it didn't work, it just showed the formula in the description.

You can calculate the order quantity (number of items) or the order amount in your form and then add a number response validation to check if this meets your criteria. For example, you can add a equal to response validation to check if the order quantity or amount matches the predefined value. Instead of equal to, you can also choose to use the less than equal to validation.

I have a list under breads of the different types of breads I offer so I can I price each one seperatly but in the same area. Is there a way to also put in quantity of how much they would want along with the different prices for the different breads. Hopefully didn't confuse you.

Hi, this is probably what I was looking for but I'm wondering, is there anyway to calculate the total from all the customers? For example, let's say 15 customers have ordered different quantities of tomatoes each one, is there anyway to add all the kilograms with this add-on so I don't have to review each order to know the total of tomatoes I need?
Hi Yzoru, Yes. You can do the totaling of all orders and across customers, in the Google Sheets where your orders are finally stored. All your Google Form responses are (can be) stored in Google Sheets. You can write formulas, pivot tables to analyze your data further. You can use the SUMMARY function to show the order summary to the users.
The syntax for the SUMMARY function is:
SUMMARY(currency)
where currency = identifier to find the price in the description/answer choices. It can be a symbol or text, but it has to exactly match the format used in the description/answer choices.
Note: This function returns a html. So it should not be added in the Answer tab.
How to use this (new option): Add a section using TT title and description option in Google Forms. In Google Forms, add a title "Your order summary" and leave the description blank. In the Formfacade customize interface, click on the gear icon next to the "no description" for this section. Section settings popup will be displayed. Enter the following formula in the description option.
${SUMMARY("AED")}
AED if the price format is AED250 each, AED50 per kilo each etc

You can use the AMT function to calculate the total amount for the products ordered. The syntax for the AMT function is:

Does this have a function where there is a discount based on total quantity ordered? For example, if they order 20 pcs of an item they will have a 15% discount on their total? if 30 pcs will be given 17% discount? Would really appreciate your feedback. thank you! :)

Hi Kerry, It is absolutely possible to use different currency. You can customize the price and formulas with your currency. For example if you are using EUROS you can use TOTAL formula as TOTAL("€")

If its "IDR" use it in summary as "${summary(IDR,true)}", or "Rp" as "${summary(Rp,true)}", for amount just replace it with the summary

Hi, I used an image, instead of a short answer. But the IDEAL way is to use a short answer/paragraph qusetion, add the SUMMARY() formula in the description and later hide the answer box using css customization. @@rishabhlodha8694 Hi Rishab, as you may have explored, the formula could be added in two places during customization:
1. Description option in the "Question" tab - it helps you show the value to the user, but not store the value in the sheets
2. Calculate option in the "Answer" tab. - it helps you both show the value to the user and also store the value in the sheets
In your case, I guess you might have used the formula in a placeholder text or prefill. Please check and add it in one of the above options. Ideal would be to add it in the Calculate option in the "Answer" tab. Please write to us at support@formfacade.com for any help.

It works fine in Doller currency....
When i change currency to ₹ (INR') then it didn't work....and shows Exact Formula near total amount coloumn....

Hi Rohit, If you have used Formfacade/Neartail add-on you will get your order list in the Google Sheets. If you have used WhatsTarget add-on and converted your Google Order Form into Whatsapp order form, you will get your orders sent to your whatsapp as well as Google Sheets. Hope it helps.
