    And then I ran across this - which seems to do everything I want ... FOR FREE.

    Hi, thanks for making this really great add-on! I was wondering if there is a way to make payment mandatory in order to complete the form. Based on what I understand, the registrant is able to fill out the form completely, and then choose not to pay, but their name would still show up in the responses. Is there a way to make payment a prerequisite for the registrant's name showing up in the response spreadsheet?

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So you are correct that the way it works is registration is split into 2 steps. The first step is form submission, and the second step is payment of the choices from that submission. Sadly we are not able to block the form submission until after a payment is received.
      Most sellers prefer this method, because in a way it allows you to never loose the information from an interested customer. It allows you to potentially follow up or offer a promo code to those that did not submit payment.
      We add columns to the spreadsheet so you can see who has paid easily and who has not. You can add a filter on the status column to just see people who have paid if needed.
      You can also turn on payment reminders and we will send an email after 24 hours, to help remind anyone who has not paid they missed a step.
      Hope that helps answer your question. 👍

    How does the payment get to your account? Does it function like a regular paypal payment that you are alerted about? Just curious about where the money goes from the form. How quickly it is processed? And is there any fee for using this payable option...like do they take a fee?

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  18 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      When you connect your PayPal account if someone makes a payment to you the money will go instantly to your PayPal account. You will get an email and see it in your PayPal transaction history.
      When you accept payments through a partner platform they always come through as goods and services, so as such PayPal will take their goods and services fee and there is no cost to your customer.
      Payable Apps adds an additional small app fee at the time of each transaction which is outlined here: www.payableapps.com/pricing
      Generally we suggest marking up your pricing by 4-5% to cover the fees or you add a convenience fee in the add-on to pass on costs to the customer if you wish.

      @PayableApps  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there,
      Check out enabling the new Advanced Confirmation Emails in the Notification settings of the sidebar:
      help.payableapps.com/en/article/payable-forms-advanced-email-capabilities-141qxbj/
      After the user submits your form they will get an email with a QR code on it and a unique order ID. Typically this email and the link inside it can act as the "ticket" .
      If you scan the QR code from the email with your phone, it will take you to their order page, where you can see what they ordered and if it has been paid correctly.
      PayPal and Stripe send a Payment Receipt after payment, but we typically use the Order Created email as the ticket.

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If a customer completes the Google Form, and then transitions to the checkout page, but for some reason decides to leave the checkout, or close that window without paying it is not a problem. At the time of the form submission we also email the user their Order ID and the link to checkout so they should have it in their inbox. This way they can always get back to the checkout page and pay for their order later. You can also copy the link out of your sheet and re-send it to them if you wish.

    On the payment link page, is it possible to disable the "Contact Details" on the payment page between the order details and the payment options section? It seems repetitive to have them fill out the for asking for the same info more than once so if I can remove it I would like to.

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there, The contact details are required for us to collect on that page and passed on to the payment provider (PayPal, Stripe, Square). Sadly we are not able to pre-populate that information from data that is collected in the form. Once the user has gone to a check-out page once, we do save that contact information in a cookie, so if they come back and submit your form again, they should not need to re-enter it on the second, third, forth... payment. While it is a second entry of the email and name, we also use it to ensure we have matched the correct order up with the form submission.
