Great Video! Been looking for a way to use Google forms to accept payments instead of having a full website . But can you have an option where the customer can choose to pay with PayPal, cash or bank deposit?
Not exactly today - The goal with Payable Forms is to remove the headaches associated with collecting and tracking the non-real time payment methods like cash and check. Some sellers have added a question to their google form itself, something like "How will you make payment? - Card,, Cash, Check" and then specify some some non card instructions. Once a manual payment is received you can mark an order as paid by an outside method using these steps: help.payableapps.com/en/article/manually-updating-a-payable-order-status-fw3z7/
Google Forma is free. The Payables option fee is .50% of the transaction cost. So you only get charged when you use it, which for our dog club was less expensive than JotForm's application.
If you have connected PayPal as your payment processor. Regardless of how the customer pays, whether its by Card Directly, or PayPal Branded Checkout the money flows into your connected PayPal Account.

Can you please help me add a quantity option for using in google forms/payable forms. I added a quantity "question" with Number "is Number" section and it's not working :(
When making a quantity option, the total price needs to be listed for each option. Eg. 1 Hat - $10 2 Hats - $20 3 Hats - $30 4 Hats - $40 There is no way to just have people select the number today. The answer must contain the pre-calculated total for that option.
I wanted to install formlimiter, but this popped up and it shows I have form limiter. While I think it's a great idea to collect funds in the form as well, what I need more urgently is to be able to set a form time limit for RSVPs to free classes. Also, I can't find your fees ANYWHERE!!!! What's up with that?
We also struggled to find the Payable Fees referenced, but we finally found them "somewhere." I just can't find the link now. The cost, however, is .50% per transaction. This is in addition to whatever card fees you are being assessed by Square, Payable, etc. In our case, we use Google Form with Payables Add-on and Square. We are assessed .50% of the transactions from Payables and 2.9% + .30/transaction from Square for a total of 3.4% + .30 per transaction. Hope this helps.

So they will always have a receipt. Then if you use PayPal or Stripe, they will also receive an email from PayPal or Stripe at the time of payment. (When the form is in Real Money mode.

Hey there, most sellers will add a shipping option multiple choice question to the google form itself. Make sure it's formatted with money amounts like "flat rate US - $10", "International Shipping - $20" - So it gets picked up and added to the order before the user get's to the checkout page.
How would one inject a script into the form that tacks the users location of purchase and generates the locals tax % and adds it to the total sum? Also, is there a way to have ACH input for direct fund deposit? Thanks,
Hi there, sadly today we do not have any way to do dynamic tax calculations. Some customers will setup multiple google forms, or use sections as a work around if they only have customers in 1 or 2 states but that’s not very practical if you have customers in all states. We do not have an option for ACH today. But might try to work on it for Stripe.
@@PayableApps Thank you for the speedy response 🙂. On the tax calculations I may have found a work-around using the Google ad-on called Formfacade or Formfacade (Scorecery) as a multiplier. Stripe ACH would be a great addition indeed- looking forward to it!
Payments should show in your PayPal account right away. Sometimes if you have a brand new PayPal account or a spike in sales PayPal will put a hold on the payments in a pending status for 48 hours or sometimes more until you can access the funds. Reach out to PayPal in their chat if you have pending payments.
Hi there, one more question is the Payable App able to integrate with Google Docs (to pick up price points and render a way to pay)? if so this would totally aid in the tax factoring
You may have already gone over this, but can this add-on be used as a first-question on a Google Form such that, when payment is successfully received, the rest of the form becomes accessible, and in-accessible if payment is not successfully received?
No. Sadly a limitation of google forms is we can’t modify the google form experience or get any data until the form has been submitted. Some people have used 2 forms. A payment form, and then in the Paid Message provide a link to the next form.
QUESTION: When I select the PAYPAL option for my payments, it is also showing a VENMO option for payment... I don't have VENMO, does this option still go through PAYPAL?
Thank you I have a few questions if you can help I set my forms up but the checkout hasn’t been loading and how do we set up so customers can’t customize settings etc
Looks like you got things figured out and are up and running. The customer facing google form once you share it cannot be edited. That’s only available to the owners of the form.
Can Payable calculate pricing for specified product quantities on a Google Form (eg let's say the user wants to order 2 of item 1 and 5 of item 3 from a multiple choice checklist of 12-15 items)?
Yes and No. The total price for that quantity needs to be listed out with each quantity option. See this video for a good way to do it in bulk. th-cam.com/video/kiPOLQHi-NA/w-d-xo.html
We use Google Form with the Payables Add-on for our Dog Club that "sells" grooming spaces at our Dog Shows. We found that Payable would NOT allow doing a "quantity x price" set-up, but JotForm would - that said, JotForm was much more costly to us to use because of the number of submitted payments we were planning on receiving. Because of that we decided to stay with Google Forms with the Payables add-on and just list the options like this: 1 grooming space for $80; 2 grooming spaces for $160, 3 grooming spaces for $240, etc. The drawback of this is that we don't get a column that show exactly how many spaces we've sold, however we just take total paid and divide by $80 to get the number of spaces. There would be a little more calculating if we were selling different size spaces with different costs, but we still this Google Form with Payables add-on is a GREAT and easy option vs the manual system and checks we were using before.
Yes you just need to list them out as multiple choice options where you do the math for each quantity in the option itself. Take a look at this video. th-cam.com/video/kiPOLQHi-NA/w-d-xo.html
great video I know this is an old video and doubt you will still be monitoring this feed, but maybe there is another user who can help. Can I use different paypal accounts within Payable Forms? Looking to create membership applications with payment for 2 separate groups with their own PayPal accounts. Is this possible?
Most sellers will simply buy a button or link that takes the user to the google form in a new window using the google form share link as the destination. You can also embed a google form, but we don’t recommend it. The full page redirects seem to work best especially on a mobile device.
Take a look at this other video. It gives you an example of how you can put a link in the Post Payment Message. th-cam.com/video/8O-MlEXyWds/w-d-xo.html

@@PayableApps I like to set payable to automatically send a second invoice on a selected day. I invoice with a 50% retainer and the balance is due for another day can I do that within payable?
Hey there. You do not need to create a new Google Form for each client, you can re-use your existing Google Form. Sadly we do not have a way to automate deposits, and follow up payments with our software. Each google form submission creates a new order, based on the prices selected in the Google form. If you wish to do deposits, some customers will create 2 forms, the first form is designed to be filled out by the customer submit their information, and select the price for the deposit, and then pay for the deposit. The second form is a form you can fill out yourself with your customers email address, to send the follow up order to them. If you require multi-payment orders with automatic follow ups, it might be better to look into more advanced invoicing through SquareUp.com
Hey Payable… make money off of your business not other people’s business! This app will take a certain percentage of your sales revenue every time you get paid. So while you work hard at closing a sale these people just sit back and relax while getting paid for your hard work. 👎
There are several things you can do to configure the receipt. In the add-on sidebar under checkout settings there is “additional text in checkout” and you can include things like a tax ID or address. There is also a “paid message” which only shows when the invoice has been paid.
But there is no way to add negative line items. Some people will just create a separate form with different t discounted or bulk prices. Then share a different form with those users.
A thorough yet simple explanation. I'm so glad this add-on exists

Reach out to PayPal in their chat if you have pending payments.
Hi there, one more question is the Payable App able to integrate with Google Docs (to pick up price points and render a way to pay)? if so this would totally aid in the tax factoring
No sorry not today.
It sure does. And we made a video specifically on this topic here: th-cam.com/video/OPjCJjVdBgw/w-d-xo.html
Thank you I have a few questions if you can help I set my forms up but the checkout hasn’t been loading and how do we set up so customers can’t customize settings etc
Looks like you got things figured out and are up and running. The customer facing google form once you share it cannot be edited. That’s only available to the owners of the form.

Can the participant select more than one payment and the form will do sum?
Yes. Any answer the participant selects that has a money amount inside it, will be added up and put on the order.
Any way to sell multiple of the same item in one form?
Yes you just need to list them out as multiple choice options where you do the math for each quantity in the option itself. Take a look at this video. th-cam.com/video/kiPOLQHi-NA/w-d-xo.html
great video I know this is an old video and doubt you will still be monitoring this feed, but maybe there is another user who can help. I have already applied this to a google site Im using and it works well. however i made another one and instead of using multiple choice I used a multi grid question form . I have connected to paypal but every time I run a test (12x now) it gives an invoice that says free. I'm not understanding the issue if you could help with some guidance that would be great.

@@PayableApps WOW. Thank you fo the assist. so this is a fairly common ocurance. i watched it amnd i am going to make the suggested adjustments. I actually t5hink that is exactly the issue (as i didn't include any decimal points - I didn't think it was needed since thne numbers are whole numbers- in my last built site i did have amounts lable as $25.50 and $29.99 and I didn't get that bug response.
problem corrected. Thanks Again!
@@PayableApps thanks a million
Can I use different paypal accounts within Payable Forms? Looking to create membership applications with payment for 2 separate groups with their own PayPal accounts. Is this possible?
Yes of coarse. During setup when connecting a payment provider just be sure to login with the correct PayPal account for the given form.
Am I able to added the credit card convenient fee on it?
Yes. Just add a handling fee in the add-on sidebar.
Helpful Thanks.
What about donations?
Does it support Payoneer?
No sorry. PayPal, Stripe, Square, Razorpay and Rapyd are supported today.
how can you integrate this into a website
Most sellers will simply buy a button or link that takes the user to the google form in a new window using the google form share link as the destination.
You can also embed a google form, but we don’t recommend it. The full page redirects seem to work best especially on a mobile device.
I am selling digital products. How can the files be sent automatically after purchase?
Take a look at this other video. It gives you an example of how you can put a link in the Post Payment Message. th-cam.com/video/8O-MlEXyWds/w-d-xo.html
Can you make a promo/discount/coupon code?
We are working on it now. 2-3 more weeks.
Amazing!
I tried using it with two different clients and man its a headache.
What were the hurdles you ran into? Specific feedback can to make the product improvements in the future.
@@PayableApps Im not sure what I am doing wrong. I have a googl form that I send to the client with the contract link once they fill out the form and agree to the contract they click and submit the form it supost to take them to the payable but some customers will say that after submiting the form they get a blank page and other say it takes them to a page that tells them they have to wait for aproval. Now I want to go on a limb and say that maybe I have to make a whole new form every time? if thats the case then it doesnt work having to do that for every customer it will take a lot of time.
I want to use for Google form quizzes, please make a video on it. How I can make paid quiz with Google form
The fake credit card in the test mode now requires a zip code so you cannot use it to test anymore.
Just enter 90210 - Or any US Zip Code.
Hey Payable… make money off of your business not other people’s business! This app will take a certain percentage of your sales revenue every time you get paid. So while you work hard at closing a sale these people just sit back and relax while getting paid for your hard work. 👎

How do I add an option to allow members to make a donation of any amount they choose? Thanks
Set it up in a short answer question like we show here: help.payableapps.com/en/article/payable-forms-user-specified-amounts-18qmk55/
Is there a way to configure the receipt?
There are several things you can do to configure the receipt. In the add-on sidebar under checkout settings there is “additional text in checkout” and you can include things like a tax ID or address. There is also a “paid message” which only shows when the invoice has been paid.
How do I log out of my other accounts? I guess it won't let me do anything with multiple google accounts logged in
We have a video on that here: th-cam.com/video/q1lhHSAA218/w-d-xo.html&feature=sharea
How can i add discounts?
You can create promo codes: th-cam.com/video/1K_SDN5SVw8/w-d-xo.html
But there is no way to add negative line items. Some people will just create a separate form with different t discounted or bulk prices. Then share a different form with those users.
