1️⃣ Morning Music: If you wake up with original song concepts, bars, or beats in your head, that's an early sign you're improving. It shows you're subconsciously immersed in the art form, and it's shaping your creative thought process.
2️⃣ Rhyme Obsession: Do you find it hard to focus on daily conversations because your mind is busy crafting rhymes? This obsession is a sign of skill refinement and indicates your brain's restructuring to think in rhymes almost effortlessly.
3️⃣ Zoning Out: If you can't listen to rap music without dissecting its structure, rhyme schemes, and lyrical intricacies, it means you're transitioning from a casual listener to an analytical artist.
4️⃣ Friends as Promoters: When your circle starts advocating for you, introducing you as a talented rapper, and even recommending you to their friends, it speaks volumes about your noticeable improvement.
5️⃣ Family Pride: If your family starts taking an interest in your music and even boasts about it, you're clearly making strides. Their support adds to your confidence and signifies your talent's acknowledgment at a grassroots level.

I almost took on a well known rapper. If he would have made his diss explicit I would have had to defend myself. I probably would have lost but I wasnt backing down
Rap over everything. Sometimes rap just takes over
Honestly sometimes i feel like im disrespectful to the craft with the amount of time effort energy blood sweat and tears i see other artist put into it. I sometimes feel if Im not doing that i shouldnt participate. But then the beat comes on......and i dont care about none of that anymore.

Does anybody even buy music no more? What do you mean by "buying my music"? If everything is up on Spotify, Apple Music, TH-cam, etc?? You mean like them going to iTunes and actually buying a track? Who does that money go to? Can you elaborate?
Im not sure what he was specifically referring to, but I can say that i like to buy CDs from my favorite artists.
When an artist puts a song out on iTunes, it gives the song access to people who don’t want a streaming service subscription. When someone buys the song, the money goes to the artist. Depending on the record label, they will take a share as well
YOO anybody knows where can i find DREW music? i can only find 2 videos.
I feel like I’m getting better when I’m hearing rappers say punchlines and I’m like I said that but with more multiple meanings. I’m pretty 🔥

Hello, any mentors for songwriting and rapping, or producers that are in the Burbank or Los Angeles County or just California areas? I live in SoCal.
I can rap Rap God super Sonic speed verse faster then eminem while i first struggled to do rap at the original speed, also, what is more important? The voice or flow of the song?
The voice is very very important
The song
Don’t separate anything it’s all important it’s abt how u make it all go together
I felt like I hit my peak some weeks ago, but I seem to have lost my entire ability. I can hardly freestyle for a solid minute, while just weeks ago I could freestyle for 5 minutes at a time. Any tips? :(
Freestyle about your day, what your going to eat or even what’s around you broski it’s what I try to do when I’m feeling stuck !
@slumpguava thanks man 🖤
Just keep movin. Life in general can feel like this and when it does it manifests in everything we are doing at that time be it rapping or anything else. Keep moving and just as it changed from once situation to another, it will change again. Your not gonna get worse at your craft if you keep at it only better. Also, a lot of the times, we may see where we are not improving but not see where we are.
@mysticmarval Thank you for your wise and thoughtful response, I feel much better about it now 🖤🙏🏽
Dude I can’t believe you said this I thought I was the only one!! I resonate so hard when you hit your peak do you notice your ability has been upgraded? To a whole new level?????? After coming out of a low? And question Can you freestyle backwards???? That’s why I resonate with what you said I’m able to freestyle backwards but I have these high and lows in my highs coming out of my lows my ability gets to another level I wasn’t at the last time I hit my peak. Just literally a day and half ago my ability came back but still sorta offline but it’s been upgraded to a new level
My family thinks and knows I have potential :))
