Im a bokmål learner myself, and from what I understood from these guys, their dialect can even be compared with some icelandic words, whereas "hv" becomes a "kv", in icelandic this is a spoken rule, in Stavangersk it is acually written, so "hva", "hvit" and other similar words become "kva","kvit" and so on, another thing that i've noticed about it being similar to icelandic is their definites and their verb conjugations, instead of "en/ett" it is "ein/eit", and instead of the usual "e" verb ending, it is actually the "a" ending, so "kan du huske det?" becomes "kan du huska det?" and other similarities like "ég" being almost like "eg" and so on.

For those who don't know, Bokmål (book tongue) is based on written Danish from when Norway and Danmark were in union. As far as spoken language, the urban eastern dialects have the most in common with this written form of Norwegian. Nynorsk (new Norwegian) on the other hand is based on Landsmål (country tongue), which was formed after the Denmark-Norway union ended. During a national-romantic cultural movement where many argued for an established language separate from Danish and Swedish, a prominent author and linguist traveled across rural Norway to gather and study the various dialects, and in turn create a written language from it.

Bridges are burning or burning bridges is the titel. Kvelertak is "choke hold" in english. Well for me the song is about alot of this. One thing i think many people fell when they hear this song might be the pain of going to a work you dont like and the relieaf of not going there as they sing in the video. And yeah its in Norwegian ;) rock on 🤘🤘
