I remember when I saw these guys open for Ghost. I was literally blown away at their stage presence and how good their music is. All I could think was "what a perfect opener"
Me too, when they came to Hungary. Ooooh shit jonathan looked like a dark witch, and those lights and the shadows of the members in the arena! I want to see them again!
@@mikatu lol people like you are the reason other people stay away from heavy metal. Keep whining about all the pop on the Radio, if metal heads don't become more tolerant metal is always going to be looked down upon. Sincerely, another metalhead.
First time hearing this band. What an incredible piece of music. Amazing crossover of genres, this just feels like a tremendous expression of what metal can be as a art form. Looking forward to hearing more, this will be a good night!
Ghost did the right choice to have them opening on their tour. I loved this band and their stage presence, they bring something else to the table exactly like Ghost!

This is exactly how i thought Ghost would sound like back when I still never listened to Ghost. Btw i'll be seeing this guys opening for Ghost in a month and i can't fucking wait, Johannes voice is so unique 🖤🇸🇪
5 years since I first heard the song, still enjoy it more than before...such a rare gem! The video is also incredibly creative, reminds me of the Seventh seal (the iconic cinematic swedish reference)
Type O Negative if they decided to play Black Metal. RIP Peter Steele. Very, very good. Only just discovered Tribulation. Another band of Swedish geniuses.
I saw these guys open for Ghost at the House of Blues Houston. They're fucking phenomenal! Jonathan looked at me a few times, probably around eight times in total. The smell of incense was great as well, the candles everywhere was a great touch. The music was loud and it "flowed" through my body. Half way through their opening show, my waist was in a ton of pain but I was so into the music I basically forgot about it. Definitely a great band, all in all.
I've seen them in Spodek - Katowice/Poland 30/11/2019 I was blown away, scenography, that "rotten green" lightening, their face paint, vocal and music... Sweet Lord, that's what You call an amazing support. I'm gonna definitely watch their career closely, from now on.
Like them very much, saw them live in Cardiff, supporting ghost. First I heard of their music that night, and was loving it and being very much entertained and love the style and stage presence. Totally awesome, went home and heard more. Well done Tribulation!!
Seen these guys live a in February. I fell in love right away. This song, and the new album is killer. The solo in the song Strains of Horror is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.
I was lucky enough to see Tribulation and In Solitude play a show together in a small venue when IS was touring on Sister and Tribulation on Formulas of Death. One of my top 3 metal shows.
the cure and joy division playing death/black otherwords a Katatonia influenced Nachtmystium musically, with Jon Noidtveidt vocals ghees!! This , never was done before! But at least they're pretty original despite of it... Yeah I mispelled, Dissections singer rip sue me...
As is tradition in swedish Death Metal, some bands make their third album very experimental... Tribulation did not change that fact! I'm afraid that the fourth album would be a full hardrock/indie/death'n'roll... I will get this album but Im prepared with my Goat Semen record as a BlackDeath shield if this come out as I thought...
saw these guys with Abbath, High On Fire, Skeletonwitch and Absu. Mesmerizing is how I would describe their set. As soon as it was over I was right over at their booth getting a shirt!
Goddamn, I think these guys have created a new musical genre. I heard some guy mention it on another site. He called it “Black Rock.” I’m getting into these guys hard. They’ve really done their homework on how not to sound like every other black metal band. I’m running straight to iTunes for some downloads.
Gonna see Deafheaven on the 21st and these guys are playing with them. This video is all kinds of stupid in the best way possible. Definitely looking forward to that show.
Band is severely underrated.
+Randall Flagg Nobody even talks about them often.
Randall Flagg. BIG TIME
Yeah I just stumbled upon this video randomly and now I can’t stop listening to this band... how come I’ve never heard of them??
So damn true!! One of my all time favorite bands ever \,,/,
And?
These guys are so talented. Children of the Night and Down Below are both masterpieces.
I remember when I saw these guys open for Ghost. I was literally blown away at their stage presence and how good their music is. All I could think was "what a perfect opener"
They basically sound like one would imagine Ghost to sound like.
ghost is a huge and dirty pile of shit, unlike Tribulation.... just think about that

I loved them too! It was such an awesome surprise to have em open for Ghost at Mexico City, they became one of my favorites for sure.
I'm an old metal head and I love this song.
This song is one of the best ever in the genre. So much respect for Hulten and the crew.

Thanks for the lyrics
Nice! I admire the having balls of making something like this.
such a pure Swedish sound as well, it really represents the musical spirit of the soil.
This is exactly how i thought Ghost would sound like back when I still never listened to Ghost. Btw i'll be seeing this guys opening for Ghost in a month and i can't fucking wait, Johannes voice is so unique 🖤🇸🇪
I'm glad that so many Ghost fans got exposed to them on their tour opening for them, but let's be honest, this band is so much better than Ghost!
Glad to see that Beetle Juice's career is still alive and well
hahahaha!!
While looking for a bassist/singer, the band accidentally said Beetlejuice 3 times and viola!
lmao! :D
hahaahah
God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son.
Unbelievable. I love how the band evolved and turned into this after 2 magnificent albums. Hails
5 years since I first heard the song, still enjoy it more than before...such a rare gem! The video is also incredibly creative, reminds me of the Seventh seal (the iconic cinematic swedish reference)
I'm really diggin' this Nosferatu's vibe.
The word you're looking for to describe this album is Melancholic
Wow. This sound is so clean yet powerful. Reminds me of Dissection - Reinkaos.
Hope they will achieve Watain-like success.
+BenRangel No, thanks.
L. J. Why? Do you think any success equals mainstream crap?
+BenRangel No at all, I think Tribulation is in the right place now.
Implying mainstream = crap
Exactly, they're far too elegant for the likes of watain and more openminded and original than dissection
Those drums are produced fucking perfectly. That ride cymbal is just straight yummy.
ZombieDenial Agreed. Not too processed; just a real natural tone. Kinda reminds me of the drum tones from the early Danzig albums.
ZombieDenial I agree, the drums sound fucking A1.
ZombieDenial Snare sound is off imo, but that might just be difference in personal taste.
ZombieDenial Very much like the latest Opeth album. The real deal, well prduced and natural sounding. Highest dynamic range possible. Non loudness BS.
I'd love to see a return to more natural drum tones in Metal; most everything sound like a fucking clicking typewriter now and I just hate that shit.
This is pure art 🖤🕯️✨
Saw them yesterday oppening for Ghost, great band and sound.
+Sama Sin Cara I saw them last night open for Ghost. They may have a new fan. :)
+ljmoulton10 absolutely 😉😊
I found them through Repugnant lol
Best 2015 Metal Album. Period.
+bimbambula De gustibus non est disputandum
+loutiscrive lol
+loutiscrive #3 for me behind Alkaloid and Akhlys
+The Melnibonean All excellent albums, goddamn!
+Goreface69 Yeah \m/ It was a great year of metal. 16' looking good too.
Type O Negative if they decided to play Black Metal. RIP Peter Steele. Very, very good. Only just discovered Tribulation. Another band of Swedish geniuses.
It makes me so sad. They are such a great band, but they're so freaking underrated. They need alot more recognition.
I was blown away by you guys. I'm glad I went to see Abbath and get to know your band.

I only clicked because I read "Strange Gateways of Bacon". I don't regret it.
And the bacon, do you regret that too?
LCHF diet much?
Bacon is tru kvlt
Hauntingly beautiful.
I've seen them in Spodek - Katowice/Poland 30/11/2019

Best tribulation song ever? BEST TRIBULATION SONG EVER!
I heard about this band recently and came to see what all the talk was about and I’m pretty impressed! Have to say I dig it!

Don't know what class are those sounds
But they own the sweet riffs, that's all about music for me, love them !
This is not JUST awesome! It is genius! I love you Tribulation!!
I've seen these guys 2 times, and they're just phenomenal!!
+ShowTyme I saw them with Ghost in Houston, fucking incredible
+Nick A. Mortis same here, they're spectacular!
Watain meets The Cure...
Watain meets noone.
That is seriously *THE* best comparison..
@@BonsaiTalk LOL yeah, it's dead-on.
@@glohitia666 CRINGE
As long as "The Cure" part stays relegated to no more than 10%.
A band that takes one to a journey beyond this time and place... A fantastic song indeed!!! (as is the case with their other songs)
Superb music video! I love how tribulation was doing this vampire 🦇 shit even before Kekht Arakh
Well written. Very nice sound. Plenty of emotions....A masterpiece!
Loved the music and that music video with the ballerina in a bat costume sent it over the top. Great Job.
wow thats really good and kinda fresh in todays music, think I'll check them out
Incredible song!
Saw these guys with Cannibal Corpse and Behemoth and I've been hooked since
Same lol
Same here
This is pure beauty, I'm stunned.
Such a fantastic band. So glad they got back together
saw them last night and im speechless talk about amazing
Beautiful song and video. Love the 4:3 aspect ratio.
Awesome chord changes, great intro. It seems they actually used real mics on the drums? Great production it has that old school vibe.
I am hooked!! Just ordered this record. Thank you!
Did The Sisters of Mercy discovered Black Metal growls?
Reminds me of In Solitude's Sister album.
I was lucky enough to see Tribulation and In Solitude play a show together in a small venue when IS was touring on Sister and Tribulation on Formulas of Death. One of my top 3 metal shows.

I will never get tired of the “strange gateway” motif

Ive noticed that with a lot of swedish bands. By the third album they really create a defining sound for themselves like In Solitude's Sister
+TheReturnOED Oh? Examples? I guess Emperor is one but theyre norwegian
+Goreface69 Emperor went downhill after Anthems
Entombed's Wolverie Blues. Grave's Soulless. Dismember's Massive Killing Capacity.
You captured exactly what I had in mind... Let's hope it doesn't become like Carcass' Heartwork/Swansong...
A good taste in music brought me here
Their best song ever. Epic.
It was awesome to see you live in Israel,
keep it up, stunning music
For me, with this album they reached a higher level of artistic creativity..
This whole album rips. I love it.
Album (TRIBULATION Children of the night) in my collection, vid in my favs.
Thanks.
The most original black metal song in decades yes I said black metal deal with it
I'd have agree with that shit
One of the best black metal songs Ive heard tbh.
Hahahaha deal with it? Just cuz you said it.
More doom like
Have you ever heard of WuW?
saw these guys with Abbath, High On Fire, Skeletonwitch and Absu. Mesmerizing is how I would describe their set. As soon as it was over I was right over at their booth getting a shirt!
Ghost: "Who are you?"
Tribulation: "I'm you, but stronger."
Thank you! Ghost ain't got shit on these guys...
Saw them live - very very nice. Damn fine band I say.
This is Awesome!
A Nameless Ghoul sent me here. Not disappointed!
FreakDaGeek lol, makes sense
Fuck yeah lol
Welcome to Gefle Metal 2022.. I´ll be there... I was and it was outstanding..
Album of the year!
old school gothic black matal ??
I recently saw this band with Behemoth and they we're pretty damn good. I'm definitely going to have to pick this CD up. Nice work
This may end up being the most important song in black metal history. Unbelievable!
RECUERDO VERLOS EN ALEMANIA HACE 4 AÑOS Y FUE DE LAS MEJORES EXPERIENCIAS EN MI VIDA
Wish I could press more like!!
So, Tribulation ceased to be a death metal band to become a much more interesting heavy metal band. Thats what I call a great decision...
I think so too. ;D
Funcionou bem com o Sentenced do 2 º album para o 3 º - depois ficou a maior merda ...
Best swedish band ever
This is what swedish art is and especially the rhythm from Värmland 🖤
I feel definetaly like in Anathema's "Silent Enigma" - what a cool vibe!!
Its wild that ive had this band on vinyl forever, and now they’re touring with opeth 🌞 Black Surf Metal.
No words!
Album of the year, great job Tribulation!
This is actually refreshingly different. I'm not a huge fan of the video but the music is a cool rock/ death metal mix. Well done.
After my little goth black heart!
Esta banda que yo sepa rs de dinamarca no de zuecia y rs doom metalWitcher
Tastefully written and produced. Huge in style!
