Hi, i am from Africa (Nigeria).Nearer, my God to thee. was the first song that ministered to me....God bless you all...Let's spread the good news of Jesus NO matter what..
I have always liked Vocal Point, ever since I first heard you guys in 6th grade. But quite often I find myself only listening to your more fun and lively songs. And then it seemed like you guys started focusing a lot more on spiritual music than wordly music and I stopped listening as much as I used to. But lately I've really been wanting more spiritual experiences in my daily life outside of Seminary and Church. I feel angry all the time and I don't like people. But when I listen to good uplifting music I feel better. So I am listening to all your spiritual songs on TH-cam right now and I feel so much happier. So thank you Vocal Point. You guys are absolutely fantastic. You've helped me become better.
We're so glad that our music is helping you, Tennyson! If you're in the mood for more spiritual music from Vocal Point, you should check out our hymns album, "Lead Thou Me On". We think you'll love it. :)
Tennyson I had the same reaction to their music It's not just beautiful vocals but very helpful joyful music! I've even started going back to church every now and then when I can :) Thanks Vocal Point your actually helping people apart from filling their hearts and souls with uplifting songs. I bet hundreds of thousands feel the same way! :) Great Work! Keep it up! and sing lots more Celtic songs too! I have strong Celtic heritage! :D
I am not a Mormon but again amazing message and I personally think if I was gonna join a church it would be this one as all the messages are very cool and in of sure about the Book of Mormon but it's changed loads of ppls lives so I can't argue with that can I
I know that the church is true I have had so many miracles. When I have a blessing I feel comfort. I dont know who I would be with out the church but ik I would not be as happy or as kind.
I am just now watching this, and I am SOBBING! I can only hope that once I reveal to my family that I want to become an LDS member AND go to BYU that they will accept my decision. This is SO powerful!
Mack & Paul, it's perfectly acceptable to point out an error, especially when someone says they're proud of being something, and spelling is wrong. How would Kaaren have know theyre dyslexic? I wouldve lolled at someone spelling their own religion wrong too. xD, internet warriors for deys hahaha.
i just finished my first youth conference on Friday and it was one of the best things i have ever done,as soon as we arrived i was greeted with friendly fa-miler faces, and we had the wonderful privilege to hear from hank smith who just such an awesome person. youth conference strengthened my testimony so much and well there hank taught us 3 rules to live a happy life 1.smile 2. know names 3.give compliments ALWAYS!!! i have been living these rules for the past three days and it has helped me a better person and i know its going to help when i start gr 10 in September.this song is so beautiful and gives me the chills when i listen to it...just love it
It's nice to see the song Noyana produced again. The last time I heard it was on "Rhythm of the Pride Lands" (a CD from the movie "The Lion King"). Oh,and this is easily the best version of "Come, Come Ye Saints" I've ever heard! :)
I wish I could sing like you guys!! I can't sing that well. YOU GUYS HAVE TALENT! Great work! Stick together in a group, and you could get so good at singing. The world should hear your guy's songs. GREAT WORK!!
This literally brought tears to my eyes. All of the vocal harmonies, the video, the soul and passion, and the overall message from Come Come Ye Saints mixed with Noyana was just beautiful. This is a masterpiece right here. Very well done BYU Vocal Point.
This is so inspirational for me. I remember seeing this video before I left to attend college at BYU-Idaho. It keeps me going. Thank you BYU Vocal Point! :)
This just made my day! Trevor was my EFY counselor! I am coming to a turning point in my life and this helped me feel more peace and confidence through all the changes that are happening. Thank you!
Thank you. Especially Trevor. Thank you for this song. This song was such a tendor mercy to me. It is just what I needed to motivate me to move on and go forth with what I want to do! I love you guys! Thank you so much for your examples and incredible music!
Excelente forma de animarnos a seguir en nuestras metas académicas, a veces los sacrificios pasan desapercibidos. Me identifico con el mensaje. Excelente producción. Saludos de Lima-Perú
I love this song so much. It is one of my favorites that you guys did. I really like the message in the video. I feel like this helps me so much because I'm going through the tough transition of last semester of high school and going off to college at BYU-Idaho plus taking college classes through Kirkwood. It gets stressful and crazy. This helps me know that I don't have to be afraid. Thank you so much for having this video.
Amazing - would have been a cherry on top, if there were some few South African scenes/video shots, as the Noyana word is Zulu, originating in South Africa.
I helped at my stake's pioneer trek this year, and this was the theme. :) I love it. Love you, Vocal Point! Hope to meet you while I'm out for my second year at BYU.
Hello!☺ Thank you so much for blessing us with your sweet voices. Also I appreciate the effort you put in pronouncing the Xhosa words. Most people find it difficult to sing in Xhosa because of the clicks. I really appreciate it. The way I sing is nothing to ya'll guys. Your voices are so angelic, so powerful. I like your worship style. God bless you. I love you. Anelisa(From South Africa)😊
This is my all-time favorite hymn, and you guys did amazing!!! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talents, I really hope to meet you all one day!!! :)
I didn’t see the Broadway musical, but this seems ... I dynno ... mebbe ... what might have inspired it? Or could a? But soon we’ll have this tale to tell, why things are swell in Cougarville...
+AniFriends hey :)) I wanted to hear you out on your point, that there are certain and specific things that Christians don't agree with in science, you're right in thinking that. But as someone who believes that God created the earth, I want to learn more about it! Usually people would think if you're christian you can't immerse yourself in science but I would actually say the opposite! Knowing that God created the earth & humans helps me to marvel at how detailed and purposefully he made us (like with biology, cells, and all that good stuff). Counterinuitively, science actually helps me to be like "oh man, God made us so beautifully and so intricately, like artwork/masterpieces" and it makes me more curious about how he created and put everything into existence. It also helps me learn more about him, that he is inteligent, creative, and powerful becuase that's what I see when I study science. And it's not like science is creating something that was never there, rather it's discovering what has already been there-except putting those concepts in ways we can understand it. Kinda like gravity! Gravity is definitely there and no Christian is gonna be like, "oh no that's science, I don't believe in it" how funny would that be. Everyone knows that objects fall because there is gravity, and although others may think that it's just something that's there, I believe he created it, along with everything else. So naturally, I wanna learn more about and understand the world! On a side note, I'm studying to become a nurse so I definitely am in the science field and studying it! Even though studies may get tough at times, hahahaha!
Please can I come to England as there are Mormons here 2 I ain't one but I would come and see u guys as ur brill and obviously that would advertise ur church as if u ask most ppl over here in England about this church it's like a cult but I personally think it is but the definition for cult is a group a ppl that believe in the same hung so I guessing where all part of a cult in some way ain't we. Keep the good music coming guys

Nkosi yami(my God) this is really inspiring
Hi I'm Lissy from Springfield Oregon, and I am so so proud to be a Morman!
OK that's nice, but learn to spell it. It's spelled Mormon.
Oh, sorry. I have dyslexia, so I make mistakes like that a lot. I'm sorry if it really bothers you that much
Kaaren Finlay You don't have to be rude about it.
Kaaren Finlay Yea, why so harsh? Geez.

Loved Lebo M's version in ROTPL. Combined with Come, Come Ye Saints it takes on a different depth. Great job. Go COUGS!!
Beautiful translation! Is modern and has that 'pop' effect on it! Nailed it guys! Thanks for sharing!
Amazing - would have been a cherry on top, if there were some few South African scenes/video shots, as the Noyana word is Zulu, originating in South Africa.
