I am Baptist, and cannot stop listening to these lads. These guys have so many messages through their music that I will never hesitate to teach. I want to know when all of the modern protestant religions can come together and find any common ground to agree upon, and work from there. No instantaneous change is needed, but rather a starting point so that all believers can come to a conclusion that will benefit all of us even if we have slightly different understandings in the end. When will we all start listening to each other and make things better for all of us?

In Christ alone… and nothing else. Not how many good works you can do. There is no salvation based on the works you do as a person. Gods grace is only based on His grace. Once Christ, the SON of God, being equal with God and IS God in human form… is accepted into your heart and is made Lord of your life, that is all that is needed for salvation.

As James pointed out we believe that we need to do our part to qualify for that mercy and grace. "Faith without works is dead." I hope that the evangelicals who deny responsibility for their own salvation can come to know and believe they need to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling, as the bible says.

Our good works are "as filthy rags. We are dead in our sins. He gives us new life so that we have the power to live a life for God. He indwells us with the Holy Spirit to convict of sin and comfort us with the presence of God. Never in an Evan. church have I heard that we can "become Christians" and then go live like heck cause salvation is free. Once saved we do work out what that means for our life. "For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that One died for all, therefore all died. 15And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again. " (2 Cortinthians 5:14) A true conversion, encounter with Christ will change ones life to desire to live for God and grow in his grace as a Child of God. In Christ we are a new creation.

I have never been the go to church every Sunday kind of person. But that doesn't mean I don't have a relationship with God. I feel closer to him by getting up before sunrise and hiking up a mountain and sitting on a rock ledge watching the sun come up over the mountains and just basking in all the beauty he has created. That's where I always go when I need to talk to him. There is just something about being out there that makes me feel better. I guess its hard to explain if you have never experienced it, but for those of you that have you know what I'm talking about.

Oh, if they would only realize the beauty and truth in what they are singing. Jesus is sufficient, alone, for salvation. Faith alone in Christ alone is what saves us, not all that we can do (Eph. 2:8-9). The Godman who took on flesh and lived the life we could not live and died the death we deserved to die. I hope LDS Folks come to truly believe the words in this song, that Jesus and his work on the cross and his resurrection is what will save them, not their own merit of works. It is In Christ Alone.

Looking for the mote in our eyes, don't you think? We absolutely believe it is only through Christ we are saved, including through the great atonement he made in the garden. As James pointed out we believe that we need to do our part to qualify for that mercy and grace. "Faith without works is dead." I hope that the evangelicals who deny responsibility for their own salvation can come to know and believe they need to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling, as the bible says.
@@michaelbarton1206 This "qualifying ' for mercy and grace is exactly what I'm referring to. Salvation is a free gift. We can't get our life in order in order to be good enough for God to save us. Our good works are "as filthy rags. We are dead in our sins. He gives us new life so that we have the power to live a life for God. He indwells us with the Holy Spirit to convict of sin and comfort us with the presence of God. Never in an Evan. church have I heard that we can "become Christians" and then go live like heck cause salvation is free. Once saved we do work out what that means for our life. "For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that One died for all, therefore all died. 15And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again. " (2 Cortinthians 5:14) A true conversion, encounter with Christ will change ones life to desire to live for God and grow in his grace as a Child of God. In Christ we are a new creation.

I have never been the go to church every Sunday kind of person. But that doesn't mean I don't have a relationship with God. I feel closer to him by getting up before sunrise and hiking up a mountain and sitting on a rock ledge watching the sun come up over the mountains and just basking in all the beauty he has created. That's where I always go when I need to talk to him. There is just something about being out there that makes me feel better. I guess its hard to explain if you have never experienced it, but for those of you that have you know what I'm talking about.

Mormon music is so clean and inspiring. Hey, any christian music is powerful. I am a mormon myself, and i was brought to tears while listening to this. Especially during a hard time like this in 2020, it is important to trust in the lord or whoever you look up to and worship.

Oh, if they would only realize the beauty and truth in what they are singing. Jesus is sufficient, alone, for salvation. Faith alone in Christ alone is what saves us, not all that we can do (Eph. 2:8-9). The Godman who took on flesh and lived the life we could not live and died the death we deserved to die. Oh that the Latter Day Saints would see the beauty of Christ just as He revealed Himself in the Bible. He is so satisfying.
